   Bleh!
I wound up calling out from work anyway >.<;

I got no sleep during the 5 o'clock hour for reasons >.>; As well, when I did get up at 6, my insane headache was still there, and it got worse the longer I was up. I took my temp once when I got up, and once again at 7am, and my temp was also rising as well, so I had to call out. What kind of virus only gives you a severe (and lengthy!) migraine like this though?! Psh...

Well on the plus side, mother said she'd make homemade chicken soup for us both ^^

   Sicky sick sick sick x.x
Yeah, so I've got a little bit of a sickness or something... I've had a migraine all day, and I'm running a little bit of a temp. Hope I won't have to call out from work tomorrow though, especially not since I took the afternoon off already... I could really use the money =\

In anycase, I made a new er... introduction? I dunno what you call that little paragraph space at the top of the page, but I revised it, because I don't like having a long friends list when I'm not really friends with half of them on that list

Another thing to everyone who remains on my list, thanks for being friends and such ^^ I know I'm not the greatest at commenting on sites and such, I don't keep up with sites as often as I keep up with artwork unfortunately x.x And apparently, not many keep up with my site either, unless you're all like me and just read and not comment! Hehe, I wouldn't doubt it ^^;; I'm not a big talker! Oh sure, I could talk to myself for ages, hehe, but I'm not the greatest at leaving comments, they all sound so cliched, and such, y'know? But I do read your sites when I can! And especially the art, I'm a sucker for art hehe ^^

I mean I enjoy reading your sites, and what you have to say and everything, and I know you all enjoy getting comments (who doesn't?) But I'm not gonna force myself to comment just because you're looking for it. It's too difficult to come up with stuff to say then x.x; I usually only comment when I actually have something to say regarding your posts, or your artwork or something. It's not that I'm not reading, or viewing! When I can't comment, I atleast vote. (regarding artwork). I know most of you prefer comments over votes, but like I said, I can't always think of the words to say that shows I appreciate your art =x

Hmm, I wonder how many of you actually read my posts anyway... I wonder how many of you will see this page as a new update anyway, since I'm updating so late at night, doesn't it refresh the "new updates" list at the end of the day? Or is it whoever updated in the last 24 hours... I dunno, I'm not sure how that works.

Well anyway, see you all later, okie? I really oughtta sleep now if I'm going to have enough rest for work tomorrow x.x;

PS. I'll draw more when I'm feeling better x.x; I'd like to practice coloring more, I think, maybe with pastels or something, cause I see a lot of works done with like prisma colors and such, and they're just amazingly beautiful, and since it kind of reminds me of pastels, I figure I'll give it a shot... lets see how pathetic this turns out, eh? hehehe ^^;; x.x;

   I really oughtta update more often o.O;
Eh, I just thought I'd mention I have three new pieces up. I need to re-scan and re-upload them though, I think. I scanned them with *MY* scanner-- the one that I bought when I bought my laptop. I've never used it until now, because I've never needed to. I've been using my mom's, which was hooked up to our desktop computer instead. But in that case, then I have to transfer the images from the desktop to my laptop before I upload them. I just figured I should use the scanner that's directly hooked up to my computer, so no transferring required. ^^ Unfortunately... they don't come out quite as pretty and defined with that one >.> Oh well.

Anyway, just a new pic of Nemiyoko, and Kotsu. The third one I have up there is a pic of a device I had dreamed of creating. See one thing you must know about me, I'm obsessed with the concept of flying, and not like in a plane. I hate planes X.x; I have dreams where I can take off and support myself in the air. Either on wings of my own, or like how they fly on DBZ, hehe. It's awesome, and it's such an amazing feeling, I never want to wake up when I dream like that. But anyways, I had this thought of making wings like that, that collapse, and expand, kind of like an umbrella, that you can wear like a glove, and strap to your arm. Ahh, I hope to actually make it one day, if I only figure out how to go about getting materials for it, and then how to go about assembling it all hehe ^^; =\

In other news, omg, I'm collecting the entire Fullmetal Alchemist series. I mentioned I bought my first one at the FYE in the mall while I was in NY last month. I'm now up to dvd 7, buying them all via Amazon.com. Costing me a pretty penny XP But it's soooo worth it. I'm loving it. Things are making much more sense this time through, and I still find it touching ;.; I almost cried today when Ed was worried that Al probably hated him for putting him in that armor ;.; Hehe, even though I know how it turns out anyway...

It's such an amazing series to me though. There's a perfect balance of humor, seriousness, and action and such, it's great. Plus I love the touching relationship between Ed and Al, and even Winry ^^

So um.. go watch! You will not regret it, I promise ^^

Oh and um.. FFXII coming out on Halloween?! *drool*

   devi maddness
First off, to start with:

Happy birthday to moi ^_^

Secondly, well, as the title would suggest, I've been messing around with DeviantART lately, trying to set me up a gallery there. Overall, I'm not very satisfied with that site, other than the basic look, and sound of it. I actually like it here more, I like the categories here better, I like how works have a title here, instead of having to click on it to see what the title is, and I like how there's little chance what you've submitted is in the wrong category. I dunno.

Really I've gone over there because I had a friend once upon a time who I've just recently gotten back in touch with, and I learned she has an account over there... but not over here. So I went over there in search of her, to little avail at first. But I've finally found her page, and now I've decided perhaps I will join her. That's not to say I will leave here; like I said, I still seem to prefer the qualities this site has, as well, I've never had a problem with people stealing my artwork on this site, as where I'm hearing they have a big problem with that over there x.x;

In other news, I went up to NY this past weekend for my sister-in-law's baby shower. Lots of fun :)
I plan on moving back up there in about a year's time. The more I learn about Florida, the less I like it. Significantly.

Oh. As for FMA... well, I finally got my movie. OMG that movie was awesome. OMG that movie was awesome! I cried ;.; I present no spoilers, even though I don't know who else here enjoys the series as much as I do, but just know that I was very deeply touched ;.;

As a result, I have decided to collect the series now. I have vol. 1, which I bought at a VERY expensive price at a FYE in the Danburry mall while I was in NY >.> (FYE is very expensive...). In anycase, I have proceeded to buy vol's 2 and 3 on amazon.com as well. It was much cheaper :) Unfortunately, I selected the super super slow method of delivery, so it's not expected to arrive for another 2 weeks... silly me was hoping they'd be considerate and deliver it sooner? psh -.-
Two long weeks to go...

Oh yes. And while we were in NY, we HAD to stop at the Alps Sweet Shop. Omg... once you try their chocolate, you'll be spoiled to all hell with it. To the point where I can't stand Hershey's anymore... it's too grainy =x NOTHING compares to the Alps Sweet Shop chocolate. Try their peanut butter cups, you'll NEVER go back to recces!

Work has been quite stressful lately. Yesterday we had two doctors in, and twice the amount of appointments. Thusly I was rushed around significantly, and I think I wound up making a significant amount of mistakes due to rushing x.x;

In anycase... happy birthday to me indeed. I'm greatly enjoying my weekend off ^_^

   Fullmetal PANIC!
Yeah, I know that's an actual anime, but the title suits for this situation.

I hate this crappy town. My Fullmetal Alchemist movie came out YESTERDAY, mind you, here I am, a day later, and incapable of getting this movie. Why? Because no place in this lame little town feels the need to carry it. I guess just because the store owners don't like it means they won't order it and sell it in their stores for several months as per usual >.>

Man, I've been itching ever since yesterday, when I knew it came out, to get this movie. I even went to Walmart last night in search of it, to no avail. I knew Walmart wasn't going to carry it, because let's face it, they're not only Walmart, they're the crappy little Walmart of Crappy little Leesburg. But I was desperate. I had to know, and the only way to ease my mind was to go find there and find out if they had it or not. Obviously that was a big flop.

I went over to the mall today, sure that the FYE there would certainly carry it. Well their anime section was pathetic, and needless to say, there was no Fullmetal movie. I went to the Target attached to the mall in hopes that atleast THEY would have it, since I know I've seen Inuyasha movies there. Nope. Nada. Know why? Because they suck >.> This TOWN sucks >.>

... Sorry, I needed to vent u.u;

As for art... dammit, I have ideas in my head of what I've been meaning to draw, now I just need to find the motivation to draw it out >.<; Bleh!!

Hooray for new computers!... And for TheOtaku being back up!
I dunno what was going on with the site the past few days o.O; I have noticed though that they've seemingly done away with that ridiculous concept of "yes or no" votes, and artist ratings. Instead there's just a "vote yes if you like it" sorta deal up. Which is not bad I suppose, but I do know that there are those few who only comment when they like something and pass up voting at all, so it's rather inaccurate I guess.

Anyway, two new pieces up today. One of my Kotsu fox that I've been meaning to toss up for like the past two weeks, and another fire fox dude hehe ^^ I'm rather dissappointed with Kotsu's eyes, though I've tried fixing them in photoshop, and they still came out looking all kinds of messed up. I don't know what I should have done really... Perhaps they just need to be in a different spot on his head, I don't think their current position is doing it for me.

OMG FMA on dvd in a week?!?!ja;egjfk;ajg; fdajf; *high-pitched school girl squeal* I've been watching trailers, and clips and such and drooling over it, I can't wait ^^;;; FMA is my favorite series to date, and that movie looks outright awesome. I can't wait!

In other news, I'm off from work today due to labor day :) Unfortunately, I'm not 100% off from work... I still have to go in twice a day every day this weekend and take care of all the dogs that EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE TOWN BOARDED -.-; Don't you people think that your animals would like to spend the holidays with you also?! Spare them! (and the kennel person who has to give up her holiday to take care of them, but that's besides the point! ^^; )

Oh well. Check out my two new pieces anyway!

   Follow me, everything is alright...
Ahh I have that song stuck in my head now... Sad part is, I don't even know who sings it, or what it's called o.O;

Seems like it's always forever and a day in between my posts, eh? Well, unfortunately I have no new arts yet, but I have two ideas I must get down on paper soon before I lose em. However, I have noticed that some of you, if not all of you... okay well atleast many of you have not noticed my last two Nemi pics... either that or nobody liked them, and were too nice to vote no on em ;.; Either way... The first one of the two I have of her I kinda like actually. So go check those out!! And I'll be sure to get those two ideas out and up for you guys' viewing pleasure sometime soon.

As for the present... wow, I should not be allowed to hold money o.O; I wound up buying a new laptop recently for $1k. In all honesty, it was a great deal, but still, now I don't have much money left in my account... see you in a few more months, car I was saving up for ;_; I also spent $200 on scrubs?! Wow... I don't know where that came from. I really only needed scrub PANTS, but I wound up buying pants, shirts, and even a new stethoscope ^^;; Dios mio...

So yeah. Tonight, I'll likely spend all my time setting up my new computer, and tomorrow... well Tropical storm/hurricane Ernesto is supposed to hit. Fortunately we're not supposed to get much more than a LOT of rain, so I'm not too worried. Although that will most likely mean a light day at work, hooray! Maybe I'll have those drawings for you up then ;)

   Mew~
So I'm starting a new series, trying to improve the quality of both Nemiyoko, and Kotsu. I realized with my last pic (of Vulpix and Kotsu) that between the two of them, Vulpix was far easier to draw, AND I drew her far better than Kotsu, IMO. Why is this? Most likely because I've had far more practice drawing Vulpix than I have drawing Kotsu. I never realized how difficult it was to draw my own critters before o.O; But Vulpix I used to draw all the time back in the day.

So, my idea here now is to take pics of wild cats, and dogs (mostly wolves, foxes for Kotsu, and tigers, and leopards for Nemiyoko, but even still), and use them as references to draw my two pets. I've done it once with Nemi-- I've used a pic of an arctic fox to draw her in a similar pose, and it came out ridiculously awesome (I <3 that pic so much!), so I figured I'm going to try and do the same. Who knows, maybe it'll help me get better drawing em on my own! This is what I hope anyway heh...

   Flop...
I didn't make it... My test, I flopped it. I just recieved a letter from the FVMA (Florida Veterinary Medical Association) regarding the practical exam I took to become qualified two months back... They said I didn't make it... I achieved 68%, I needed atleast a 70% to pass ><; I emailed them actually, and asked if they'd recount it for me, because this is gonna suck if what they initially said is true. I did however, pass the nationals, but go figure, I fail the state test. I don't know how to break it to my clinic now... I hope the recount comes through for me. =\

Work was extremely busy today, since half the staff was out x.x; I was half a kennel tech, and half a front tech, so I was running back and forth doing anything and everything today x.X; Tomorrow should be better atleast, since most of the dogs back there have gone home, and there aren't many to deal with tomorrow. We'll see.

New piece up, btw. And please, for goodness sake, if you vote no, atleast say what you disliked about it ~_~; I doubt it's any of you actually, it's just some lame loser who goes around voting no on every piece he may not like for minor reasons or whatever. Who knows, I hate people like that though.

Why would I want to hang out with a bunch of losers who don't think very well of me anyway?? They have no respect for me... I'm sure no one even cares that I left u.u#

My kitty cat is sitting on the floor next to me, looking up at me in such a sweet way and purring... I think she wants her breakfast hehe.

I'm gonna go do some Christmas shopping today I think... perfect time to too, no? XD

Oh, and PS.... go look at my last pic! I get disappointed when they go unoticed x.x;
