I failed that science test, like I knew I would. A 67. If I would have made more time to study, I know that I would have done better. But my teacher gave the class a pep talk and encouraged us. I'm going to work and study really hard from now on, and then I'll do well. I studied for today's midterm last night, and I'm not too worried about it. Things are looking up. ^_^
I'm starting to learn Korean. There is a website that introduces the Korean alaphabet (Hangul)and it's teaching me a lot. As soon as I'm done with that tutorial, I'll be able to start the lessons in the book I have, called College Korean. I'm going to teach myself with my mom to help me. She's Korean, and the main reason why I want to learn. ^_^
I'm applying for an afterschool job as a cashier at the commisary. ^_^ I've got a good chance of getting it. Working on base makes it a federal job, and because of 9/11, I have to get fingerprinted. My mom is going to take me to do that on Monday. I'll turn the application in on Tuesday. I've got a friend who goes to my church that works in the commisary office with customer services. She'll put in a good word for me. ^_^
My mom and I have planned that I'm going to put my earnings in savings. I'll use it to buy a car when I go to college. It's just fine with me, because my parents buy me everything I need right now.
