Somebody's Cryin'
"I know somebody and they cry for you
They lie awake at night and dream of you
I bet you never even know they do
But somebody's cryin'
I know somebody and they call your name
A million times and still you never came
They go on loving you just the same
But I know that somebody's tryin'"
- Chris Isaak
Love, depression, torment, and a dash of exhaustion. Life's great isn't it? I suppose that's the teen life isn't it? Friends battling a war you know all to well yourself... It's almost scary when you see what you've been trying to keep locked inside being reflected in your best friend's eyes... and you can do NOTHING about it. That's when you realize how fragile life and feelings are. One wrong step and it can all come crashing down around you while you struggle to keep that elusive smile pasted on your face and that bubble of laughing tears tied at the base of your throat. But you continue on, because others are counting on you, are looking up to you for some sort of guidlines. How can you fall apart on them while everything SCREAMS to do exactaly that? So if death is not the answer, and life seems so intangible... what's the next step? What's the next road? Where do you go when you reach the point where life and death seem worthless? At that crossroad I find myself keep on returning. I back track here and there but I keep coming back to this non existant plane. Here I'm afraid of nothing.. and yet everything. Where do I go from here....?
