Only Mortal
The skies are clear when I look up to see you soaring
Your wings are pure ivory, stronger than Teflon
You are as graceful as an eagle
If you had a target, you’d swoop down upon it and take as your own easily
You aren’t invincible
For if you were to fall from heaven, you’d become the opposite of what you are now
You’d become evil
The ivory would become dark black, and your grace would diminish like the yesterdays of our past
If you were to fall, I’d catch you
You are my guardian, and I will be yours as well
I catch you in my arms, and strip you of your wings
Then you’d be mortal like me
We’d be equals, your ivory would remain
But it would be your choice whether you wanted to keep it or not
You could walk the Earth with me once again, and that grace would now be tangible to my grasp
Though you would be mortal, you would always be an angel to me
So, I watch you soar through the heavens
I see you in my dreams
I feel your presence when I am in danger
Your grace will reflect on me, and one day we will both soar the heavens along side each other

Thats just a little something i put together. I'm talking to my lady right now, and I just wanted to check with my otaku family, before i check into the bed of roses that vicky will lie in one day. Anyway, today I had an epiphany, and i think i will pursue writing full time. Yes, I am going to work on a novel. But dont worry, I will still continue to write the phases because I know that you guys like them so much, so I will probably get to some serious visiting tomorrow. See you all later, I love you Vicky
