Sorry it took so long
Apollion
Phase 14
One Step Closer
The lime green irises opened after being shielded by eyelids to find its body being driven into another windowpane. The irises’ pupils saw the yellow-eyed creature holding the body by the collar of its shirt. Vicious 2 tried to grab Drakus’ neck, but the glass seemed to be continuous. Building after building after building, Vicious 2 along with his new enemy continued their battle. Vicious 2 punched at the monster’s face, but that didn’t stop him from being driven through glass like stones. Gravity was absent, and it felt like Vicious 2 was flying with this beast holding him down, stirring him through glass. By this time, Vicious 2 was bleeding from the forehead. Drakus accelerated, and the series of windows went by faster, wearing Vicious 2 down. That is until he felt a spur of anger within him. When he looked down, he saw Malkav rhetorically expressed on Drakus’ face. He drove his fist into the monsters face, shattering his nose. Vicious 2’s fist dug deeper, until his fist was lodged into Drakus’ skull, and in that instant, Drakus disappeared. Vicious 2 flew through one last window, and found he was still levitating. He looked up at the rooftop to find his father staring down at him.
“Are you enjoying your new upgrades, Julius?” Vicious asked. Vicious 2 stared back, panting heavily.
“Is it time for the third test?” Vicious 2 asked.
“In due time, the third test is far too difficult for you in this state. Honestly, I don’t think you will survive the third test,” Vicious said.
“You are too impulsive; you have to learn to make your decisions with your heart and not your actions. A general has to make decisions that are fitting for him and his men. It is time for you to become a general and not a soldier,” Vicious lectured.
“I don’t have time for this,” Vicious 2 said, pushily. Vicious nodded, and left immediately. Vicious 2 began to soar back towards the apartment, hearing Julius’ guitar.
Malkav could feel the music, shooting through his veins like heroin. From the veins to the crow’s feet in his eyes there was poison, blackening all over. He felt no pain at all, as he lifted his gun up at Julius, who was playing his heart out. His eyes were closed tight, and the music seemed to take him to a place far away from his disposition. Selena entered the apartment again, just as the trigger was pulled. In that instant Vicious 2 swooped in, taking the bullet in his side. He got up with the wound at his side. Malkav smirked as he faded away until he completely vanished. Selena ran to Julius and helped him up, holding him tightly. She kissed his forehead, cradling his head on her bosom. Zero walked over to Vicious 2, holding his handcuffs.
“Leave, you’ve done enough damage,” Vicious 2 said, looking at Ana. Zero continued to step closer.
“I will kill you, if it weren’t for your bullshit Ana would still be alive!” Vicious 2 said, shooting a dangerously sharp look at Zero. The rage consumed his face, and his eyes burned through Zero.
“I’m very sorry, but I have to do my job,” Zero said.
“Fuck your job, Malkav is going down,” Vicious 2 said, grabbing his gun from the floor.
“Vici, wait,” Selena said.
“I’m not letting you leave this apartment, Vicious,” Zero said, ignoring Selena. Vicious 2 wasn’t listening to Zero, and he looked over to Selena who was still holding onto Julius.
“I want to help,” Selena said.
“Just take care of the kids, I don’t want anyone being hurt anymore,” Vicious 2 said, as he headed for the door. Zero grabbed his arm, and cuffed it. Vicious 2 looked back, and jerked his arm away, breaking the chain on the cuffs before leaving.
“Don’t, bother him, Zero,” Selena said, as she began to walk Julius out of the apartment.
After the violence was all over, Malkav was walking along the neighbor hood rooftops where he found Garnett waiting for him. She stood about ten feet away from him, wearing nothing but an leather overcoat buttoned all the way up. Her red hair was hanging freely, and her crimson eyes were planted on Malkav. Malkav shoved his hands into his front pockets, and began walking towards her.
“What are you doing here, Garnett?” Malkav asked.
“I should be asking you the same thing,” Garnett said, walking closer.
“I was taking care of business,” Malkav answered.
“Why do you find so much joy in giving Vicious so much pain,” Garnett asked, grasping Malkav’s open leather overcoat.
“He has wronged me and I shall never forgive him for what he has done. I should kill you for fucking him,” Malkav said.
“You were gone, and I was lonely,” Garnett said.
“That is no excuse; I can’t believe I am still with you. You even bore a child for him. One that was not defected like the one you bore for me,” Malkav said, staring into her eyes with flames in his pupils. Tears took hold of Garnett’s eyes.
“You made him that way,” Garnett said.
“He would’ve been a weakling if I had not made Drakus the way he is. If I hadn’t exorcized him, he would be as useless as a mere human. You should see the things he is capable of. He is almost more of a demon than a vampire,” Malkav said, shoving Garnett’s hands off of his coat.
“He is a disgrace to Lenoia-Dyhalto family,” Garnett said.
“He’s no longer apart of such a family with weak morals. You defend Earth yet you dine with blood your tongue. You’re just as bad as him,” Malkav stated. Garnett began to say something, but her focus wasn’t in his direction anymore. Malkav turned around to see what had her attention, and it was Vicious 2 standing there with the gun pointed right at Malkav.
“Garnett, if you don’t want to be shot, I suggest you get moving,” Vicious 2 said, as he pulled the hammer back with his thumb. Malkav smiled, as he drew his Casull.
“Come on, Bingo, shoot me!” Malkav said.
“Stop it, you two!” Garnett shouted. Vicious 2 couldn’t hear her. The only thing on his mind was eliminating Malkav, and getting revenge for Ana.
“You didn’t have to kill her, Malkav. What did she ever do to you?” Vicious 2 asked.
“She had to relieved of her sins,” Malkav said, with a smile.
“What sins, she was a saint!” Vicious 2 yelled.
“You don’t remember all the times she sucked your dick to get pocket change, until you bought her the apartment and moved in with her, do you? You were using that young woman to fulfill your sick fantasies,” Malkav said. Vicious 2’s eyes began to twitch, and painful memories scorched his mind. He remembered how bad he felt for the young girl who had to sell her body to make a living. The young woman he’d saved, and nearly fell in love with. One tear rolled down his cheek. The pain was too much; he had never felt so much sympathy for a person.
“You didn’t have to hurt her!” Vicious 2 open fired, and Malkav smiled as an A-T field guarded him.
“I can’t let you harm him, Vicious,” Garnett said. Malkav smiled, and pointed the gun and before he could fire, a figure swooped by. And just like that Malkav’s arm was on the ground, and a bloody katana lie in the hands of Vicious 2’s daughter. Malkav’s eyes were glazed with shock, and before he knew Vicious 2 was flying over to him and tackling him. Vicious 2 pressed his gun against Malkav neck. Drakus’ arms consumed the building, slithering around it like moving vines. Melanie saw the gloved hands coming for her father, and he grabbed him as she leapt from the roof of the building. Malkav ran to the ledge, and a dimension gate opened before him. Garnett pushed him into it, and went in as well. Vicious 2 hit the ground face first. Cindy tried to help him up, but he was quaking frantically. The rage was burning through him so badly that he could barely move.
“Daddy….daddy…daddy,” Cindy called. Vicious 2 looked at her, and got up to his feet. He didn’t feel like speaking, all talking had ceased. All Cindy could do was follow with her head hung low.
Selena draped Julius’ arm over the back of her neck, while walking him away from the apartment building. He was still shaking with the guitar still strapped around his neck.
“This is the last time, he will ever wrong me,” Julius muttered.
“What are you talking about, Julius?” Selena asked, looking into his now evil eyes.
“He…..will…shed tears,” Julius said in a raspy voice as he broke away from Selena’s embrace.
“What?” Selena asked.
“He will shed tears of scarlet!” Julius said, and strummed the seven-stringed guitar. The cement rumbled violently underneath Selena, and she nearly tripped.
“Julius?” She said, uncomfortably. Julius began strumming in a rage, until he sprouted a violet outline of wings. He leapt into the air, leaving Selena behind to pursue his enemy
