There are some accent marks that I couldn't figure out how to type... but, just a thought--
Tại sao mỗi lần làm ngu'̣'i tốt th́ bị báo hại? =(Why is it that whenever I do good, I'm punished? =(Pessimistic. But that's the moment.
When I think in Viet, and it's not too complicated, I'll try to work on posting in it to exercise the language. =I

I'm learning how to become a teacher. And sometimes I write a few things about my new experience so far.
Something from my Feb. 10 personal blog:
"On a more humorous note, some kid annoyed me yesterday. There's two interns in this class including me. At the lunch table I asked one a question, and he made an unrelated statment, "I like HER, i dont like YOU." Oh? I replied sternly and made sure he heard, "I don't care!" LOL."
Flash forward to today.

I was sitting on the playground writing notes during my interning at the elementary. Remember the kid that straight-out told me he plain doesn't like me (Refer to Blog: Feb. 10)? Well he approaches me, says he has something to tell me. I'm like, "OK," and keep writing on my notebook. He wraps his arm around me, and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
I looked up and questioned, "Why did you do that?"
"Because I love you."
"Oh. Well, I like you, too." And I keep writing.
So over a few weeks of interning, I quickly understood the best way to handle this kid. Ignore him. Some people just plum like you more when you ignore them. And this was what I did, and it was probably the best way. =I

absence makes the heart grow fonder.=]
Yeah, you know. When someone's not around, you miss them, and wish they were there for you to neglect again. It's terrible.
Yes, me in deep thought. And you, wishing I'd neglect you in that way.

Risk
We cover a lot of interesting topics in class sometimes. I guess that's one of the benefits of being an Education major. Heh. In one of my classes we're focusing on Risk-Taking, specifically that of adolescents.
Someone raises his hand and asks, "So what is an example of positive (healthy) risk-taking that doesn't involve a physical risk." The speaker replied immediately: "Relationships, such as asking someone out on a date. Who here has ever been physically injured from asking someone out?" To which the student replies, "I consider that a physical risk." We thought that was funny. So the speaker askes us, why is it that most of us wouldn't be assessive of the act of getting into a car with a drunk driver, yet we are assessive of social situations? It is funny that we rather risk being killed or injured, than being rejected by a love interest.
Then someone blurts out, "IT'S EASIER FOR YOUR BODY TO HEAL THAN YOUR PRIDE!" We all laugh. It's true. =P
She closes with a question we've all heard before: How would you ever know if you don't try?
Death Cab's lyrics are so fucking electricuting. Yeah, I know, "electricuting." =P Or maybe the word I'm looking for is "tantric."
This is the moment that you know
That you told her that you loved her but you don't.
You touch her skin and then you think
That she is beautiful but she don't mean a thing to me.
...
Wanted to believe in all the words that I was speaking
As we moved together in the dark
And all the friends that I was telling
And all the playful misspellings
And every bite I gave you left a mark
Tiny vessels oozed into your neck
And formed the bruises
That you said you didn't want to fade
But they did and so did I that day.
