When I visited Viet Nam back in Summer 2000, one thing I looked forward to watching was, surprise, MTV Asia. I was pretty interested in the Asian pop-culture scene. Though, I didn't see any MTV Viet Nam, I did see some MTV Thai. I was really impressed that the videos didn't look cheap, well most of them, and the music was pretty catchy. There was one video that amused me, Bad Boy, by Joni Anwar. I thought it was pretty up-there for a video made 6 years ago, and it also intrigued me to see a guy that looked European sing Thai. Also, I like the opening shenanigan.
So I found it the other day, and after watching it again, I realized that there was actually a story in it. At first it seems like he's being a trouble-maker, but he's actually has a reason for what he does. Thought I'd share this. Warning, song's pretty cheesy.
