Well.. I explained to mi madre, and guess what? I'm still alive^^
Miraculously.
She understood that I was sick.
So.. now all I have to do is work my sorry little butt off so that I can finish out this quarter with a 4.0. Wish me luck, it ain't gonna be easy.

Well, today I went on a walk. It was rather uneventful. I walked around the streets about a half a mile perimeter away from my house, not really knowing where I was headed. After circling for an hour, I decided to head to the duck pond so that I could get attacked by some geese. So I walked and walked and got honked at by cars, and then I walked some more and then got honked at by the geese and chased by an ornery swan. There were these creepy little black water birds with red eyes that flew up in the trees and on the posts circling me. It was a really demonic situation, lemme tell you. I go to that pond just to wittness what Mesquite water does to normal birds. Turns them into monsters. Don't get me wrong, I love birds. But if you go to the duck pond by the casa blanca, there's just ducks. And they are sweet ducks that take the bread gently from your hand and make funny noises. Funny BIRD noises. Not demon talk.
Anyhow, so then I walked home and I made chicken and rice for dinner. It turned out SO amazing. I mixed purple onions and peas with the rice and used a mix of asparagus and mushroom soup to pour over it. I cooked the chicken up in a deep pan with lots of chicken broth and seasonings. And then.. MMM.. I got to eated it:)
I love it when my mistakes end up tasting so good^^

So, I kind of should go practice ma viola. Thursday is SUPAF (southern utah performing arts festival) and I've gotta solo with two songs. And one of those songs is EIGHT MINUTES LONG! *sigh*
But it's Bach and Bruch, so it'll be great fun.
