So yea it was my goal to stay up all night, but after the hike I had today, I'm tired. It was a fun hike though. It was supposed to be for all the freshmen, but only 6 of us showed up.. so it was mostly Kelton, Monica, a couple others and I.. with 5 chaperones.. yeah it was funny. But it was so beautiful. The red rock against the setting sun..yeah it was pretty. On the way down, I was talking to Monica.. we had our moment. When a friend goes from just being a casual friend, to really a friend. When there's enough trust that you first actually confide something personal in the other and they do likewise.. and then after that, even in regular conversation, you begin to feel so much closer to them. So yeah, Monica and I had that moment today.
So anyway, Kelton's dad came along as one of the chaperones.. he nicknamed me seafood and called me that throughout the whole hike.. lol it was great
