The Memories...
Granted, arnica (Lady Asphy) beat me to it, but seeing as I introduced her to it, I think I should be allowed to show it too.

Internet Archive: Wayback Machine

What is this link, you may ask? Well, it leads to a page where they've being saving copies of sites from 1996! Thanks to frequent web crawls, you can find archived versions of sites, both those still alive today, and those whom have long drifted into the abyss. Granted, it usually only saves the main page, and perhaps a few extra bits here and there... But still, insert a URL, old or new, and you might find something you have long forgotten. ^_^

And yes, you CAN search for www.theotaku.com and www.otakuboards.com. I've already done so, and boy, does it bring back memories... So, what are you waiting for? Go! Now! What better way to bring in v7 then with a look at v1 through v6? What, still reading? Well stop, and have a look!

v7, Just Around The Corner...
To be honest, every second I have to wait for the new version of Otaku Boards is a second filled full of agony. It's taking all my strength to simply not continually refresh the OB main page again and again, twenty-four hours a day, until it finally launches. Why am I like this? I'm not entirely sure. Though I guess it stems from the fact that after my bad luck over the past version (read: my internet connection on the fritz, losing interesting in the community), I'm looking for a fresh and vibrant self-reboot, which v7 is going to help me with. And from what I've heard from James, that isn't going to be the only reason I'm going to like v7. ^_^

Moving on, I'm also thinking of going back to my roots, and starting up a new RPG as soon as possible after Otaku Board unlocks its doors. Sure, I've told a very small number of you, time and time again, that I'll be making an RPG any day now; but this time, I think I really WILL. I've got an idea in my head, jumping around, bursting to come out, and providing I translate it well, I might just have an excellent return to form up my sleeves. But I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Journey to the centre of Warlock.
I'm back. Whee.

Well, since I left you all hanging last post, let me tell you a bit more about myself.

I've been a moderator at Otaku Boards for more than I've been a member. About two and a half years, heck, maybe even close to three. Hard to remember. Though I've always looked over one specific forum, Adventure Arena. Of course, it's had several names... ...Which I can't remember. I know there's a 'Games and RPGs' in there somewhere, though.

I'm a rather big PC and Nintendo fan. Still eagerly awaiting Halo for the PC, like I have for over two years... At least it's finally returning to where it began in less than a month. I'm also awaiting F-Zero GX to arrive over here, though replaying Metroid Prime has kept me occupied.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go back to trying to think of a good RPG idea for Adventure Arena...

The beatings shall continue until morale improves...
Hello, hey, greetings, hi, [insert forms of greetings in numerous languages], and welcome to... here.

I think I'll start by introducing myself, since I doubt anyone but those who have been around for some time will even know who I am.

My name is Warlock (well, not really), and I've been a regular visitor to both theotaku and Otaku Boards for about three years and a half, though I haven't popped up much for the last year.

Blame the wizard. After all, if anything goes wrong or changes, it's the wizard's fault.

Getting back on course... ...Well, to be honest, there's nothing much to tell. My life is rather empty on the detail chart. And since I'm running out of things to say, cheerio! Hopefully I'll have more to say tomorrow...

And feel free to add a comment. I get so lonely sometimes... *sniff*
