Hrmm, What to Say
Yesterday was Mom's birthday, so she took it upon herself to be as rude as she could. And of course, it's never a good idea to argue with her, and it's just a courtesy on a birthday. Guess how old she is...

In other news, I went to a Mary Kay party. It was my friend's debut as a consultant. So now next Thursday, I'm hosting one for her. I'm so glad she appreciates the things I do for her.

Hrmm. What else.... I think that's it for now.

I feel bad for not posting more.


I hate being so busy.

So let's see. Went to my dad's and met with some builders. If all goes well, I will have a house by the time Christmas rolls around. YAY.
In the meantime, mom and I have been fighting. A LOT. I hope this passes soon.
School is starting up again in a few weeks. Then I will get to see my boyfriend, and all of my other friends.

updates!!!
Hrmm. So let's see. I got into a major fight with one of my friends. I don't think I'll be too popular with her for sometime soon.

I hadn't talked to my boyfriend since Friday, so today he got to hear about the lovely little squabble. He's really upset with her, too. I was thinking he was going to stay more neutral than he did. Then he sent me the link to a comic strip to make me laugh a little. Makes me feel loved. Wednesday will be the 7 weeks mark for our relationship.

What else... I've been trying to clean my room for a week now. I have to have it done by next Tuesday, because I leave for Minnesota that Wednesday. My mom is having a laparoscopy that Tuesday also. She may actually take care of her illness... finally after a year of medication. I hate when people cheat their health.

Let's see
I watched MirrorMask the other day. Incredible movie. In fact I think I want to watch it again right now.

Today I woke up around 11:30 as I had no classes. Oh man. It was wonderful. Went to lunch and then I came back and watched Moulin Rouge with Val. She'd never seen it before. So I thought I should educate her before we leave for the year. next week is the last week of school. Freshman year will be over.

I have a date tonight. we made it to a month!!! I'm really excited. We're going to see Silent Hill.

YEEP. I'm kind of hungry. Maybe I'll go get some food before I watch MirrorMask.

So most of my family loves my boyfriend. When I say 'most' it's because only most of my immediate family met him. My two dads, step mom, ky step bro and my little sis have yet to meet him. But they've been hearing rave reviews of the meeting.

So my mom is meeting my boyfriend today. I kind of wanted to wait on this one for at least another week, but tomorrow and Tuesday are my bros' birthdays, and she wanted to kill two birds with one stone. I don't know if I should be as worried about this as I am, because he told me parents love him, but at the same time, my mom is certainly picky when it comes to anyone I associate with. Out of all of my friends, she only likes 4 of them. And she's only liked one boy I brought home... and that was in the 8th grade. So in the span of 8 years (the time I've lived in Texas) she's liked only four friends and one boyfriend.

Huh
Haven't posted in a while. Sorry 'bout that. So lets see what has been gong on?
1.I broke up with my boyfriend about a week after my last post, got back with him about two and a half weeks ago. Those two months in there really sucked, too. I don't normally get like that for anyone.
2.My grades were slipping but they're climbing again.
3.I got kicked out of my old dorm because I wasn't afraid to speak my mind. Let's just say the head of the program didn't feel I was much of a contributor after our little meeting. I wish not to delve deeper into that one though.
4.My mom wants to meet my boyfriend and invited him to my brothers' birtdhays next weekend.
5.Sam Houston Folk Fesitval was a lot of fun. I wore some awesome dresses, too.

And now there are only 3 weeks of school left. Time flies, doesn't it?

last weekend I went to Houston with a friend and we visited some other friends. It was oodles of fun! Anyway I'll post some pics later. I have a paper due today and another due next week. hurrah for that. o.O
