Today... he he he
today we had our science test, and tomorrow will be our geography test. This whole week is test week, but I think I already told you that.

I was all jumping around and shouting either "3 weeks" (until we go to Annapolis...yes it turns out we're not going to Baltimore, I don't know what happened) or "10 days" (Avatar although I haven't seen anything for it)

We were SUPPOSED to have fish tonight. However my dad said "Uh-oh" and he called mom asking about what he's supposed to do now that he burnt the fish very badly.... :-D

Mom comes home with steak and she makes steak-ums and we all had philly cheese steaks.

At orchestra rehersal today we practiced in the auditorium (which by the way has really bad acoustics, I should right a letter to the school board about that....I mean our rival school had a new school built right next to the old one)
The set up of the orchestra is always the same so of course, with me being the oboe I am right up front and center. I am the center of attention and when you're the only one, that can be scary. You mess up and even though the acoustics of the auditorium are horrible, everyone knows it was you. :-()

If anyone has any info on the premiere date of Book 3 of Avatar in the US please tell me ASAP!

My weekend
Well Saturday after I put up my post I went to the High School to see their play "Anything Goes" I understand the hard work put into it, and it was really funny, but it was missing something.....I can't put my finger on it but there was something missing. It was the first time in 4 years I fell asleep on a play.

Sunday, after church I played Rummy with my mom and grandma. I lost by 100 pts. The final score was Mom- 324 Grandma- 323 Me- 220 Oh well, next week I guess.

Well tonight I have to go to the band meeting about the trip. We're going to Baltimore next week, and I can't wait. The park we''ll be going to is the 6 flags, although I'm more excited to see Washington D.C from our hotel window. We'll be stopping to hear the Navy Corp Band so that'll be cool, and we will see some of the memorials in D.C as well. I'll get the itinerary tonight so I can list it later or tomorrow.

Lots of tests this week, today Reading, tomorrow Science, Wednesday Geogrpahy, and I don't know if we will have tests thursday or friday.

I do have more concerts Thursday and Friday again. Both of them are for band if I don't go to both of them I won't be able to go on the trip. One of our songs we'll be playing is called "Intrada" which is dedicated to our band, and the composer will be there because it is the first performance of it done ever.

Well I made it through another concert
Last night at the American Legion Jazz Festival was awesome. I don't know how well we did (I didn't stay for the awards but I will know monday 'cause they put it on the morning announcements) It was funny because the last song the first school did was the first song the second school did, and the last song the second school did was the first song the third school (us) did. Of course we did better than that other school. They had a drum solo in the BEGINNING of the song which kind of ruined it. We did better! Today I participated in "The Spoils" tournament. I'm going to do it next week. The Spoils is a very cool card game played almost like WOW or Magic: The Gathering. It's really cool, but I can't really explain it, you have to play it and see for yourself. I didn't do too well in it though, I only won 1 round. every round you get points (I forget how many per round) and if you get 50 you winn $100,000 and get to go on a cruise and play it on the ship and if you win on the ship you get $400,000. I don't think I'll eve get to see the ship though. I'm really bad. (hence I only won 1 round) Well see ya for now

I got a little time before I need to get ready for tonight
Yup so I decided to spend it here.

Yesterday's All City Orchestra was pretty good, I messed up with the beats towards the end. (ie I played some half notes like quarter and some quarter notes like eighth notes :-( ) But other than that it was pretty good, I still have the James Bond Theme in my head. The director from one of the other schools said that we should put on sunglasses when we play it during the performance, but no one did, although one girl did bring them during rehersal to wear them.

Tonight is the American Legion Jazz Festival. We got rid of one of the songs and replaced it with one we learned only last week. BUt that's more than what we did with the All City, we only had 2 days to learn most of those songs except the 3 from our school. (wish I could sight read a lot better than what I can now)

Today and yesterday
Let's see yesterday I was at the school for 2 hrs exchanging my old band uniforms for new ones, however the ones that I was measured for didn't fit, so what would normally have only been 5-10 minutes took 2 hours, so I didn't get one yesterday.

Also I was watching something about a crater in the middle of what used to be woods but the meteor was never found and I was like "ther was no meteor, it was an electrical mamomdo who was jealous of his brother and got his reader to make a big explosion duh!" MY parants didn't get it.

Today I found that oboe players go crazy because of the double reeds and everything which makes it so that the oboist gets less air to the brain. (the student teacher heard it from her friend who also plays the oboe) and I was all "no wonder..."

yeah...lol

well tomorrow I have an all city concert, and friday the american legion jazz festival, and I'll be performing with the rest of my school's jazz band :-) however that means that I won't be on for a while :-(

well, hope you have a good 2 days without me.

more seaon 3 rumors
It may be April 27th, however there's rumors that it won't start util Septemeber so that they can run new ones weekly, and have a certain episode on Halloween.

another possibility is that it'll be in the summer. Normally they only do movie speacials in the summer, however if they merge the first 2 episodes (like they did in the series premiere, or fury of aang, or the secret of the fire nation, or both season finales) it can be called a movie.

They did get some of the episodes back from Korea, so I am hoping that they can start showing them by April 27th!
