My Memorial Day weekend
Sunday after church, I went to 2 picnics and a lock in back at the church with the youth group.

The first picnic was with my dad's side of the family. We got water guns and my little sister and I got soaked!

The second one was with friends of the family. We played Quates (a game similar to horseshoes with rubber wings and a slate board) which my dad and I lost. We also played whiffle ball, and our team won! It was especially funny when one of our friends' dog ran right through the field and distracted the other team! Just as funny was when my little sister wanted to play Quates and picked up the rings....which were our bases!

While eating at the second picnic we started hearing thunder and saw some pretty neat bolts of lightning, but it wasn't raining so we didn't go inside. It was only when my dad was gonna take me home to get my stuff then go back to the church for the lock in did it start to. And it wasn't some gradual, drizzle, shower, storm, it came down all at once! I finally dried off from the water gun fight and now it's pouring! My dad and I were sopping wet byt the time we got home, and just as bad when I finally got to the church.

At the lock-in, none of the girls that said they would show up, showed up, so it was an all boys party!
We had some cool bible lessons, contests including a scavenger hunt which my group won so we got kites and whoopie cushions!
We played man hunt, and we played capture the flag with the whoopie cushions our group won as the flags.
Also, some people brought their video games. One person brought his Xbox, and another brought his Wii. I didn't spend the whole night playing these, but I did play Wii Bowling, Super Mario Smash Bros. and some Star Wars Battlefront. But for the most part I read my signed book: The Great Tree of Avalon Book 2: The Shadow in the Stars, signed by T.A. Barron himself. Got to chapter 25, and only picked it up at chapter 6.
We all stayed up, all though some of us, did sleep , but no more than an hour for any of us. I'm so tired, and so sick, but my parents won't let me sleep until at least 7:00.

Oh, did anyone else realise this? My last two posts are grouped together as if they were posted on the same day, but they weren't, the second one was posted the day after. I don't know why they got grouped together though...

Well that was my weekend.

1. What was the longest you've ever stayed up?

2. Have any picnic or any other outside gathering got stormed out?
