Ok, real post!
Ok, so let's see:
Somehow in the EatNPark on the way there, we started talking about Purple Haze. My mom says "What's that?"
Once we got there we played spoons like always, only this time mary joined in. That means 1 more player which means 1 more discharger! (inside joke...the first time the whole family played it, she meant to say "now will's the discard pile" but it came out "Now Will's the discharge pile" Ever since we've been saying "Discharge")
Next day we went to the pool. I met a kid my age there, he was cool. We've became friends, but unfortunatly I forgot ti give him my e-mail
We went to Hell's Hollow again. But it wasn't the same! the river was next to empty at some points. We think it was the Quarry. Argh! So that's what we were hearing at our campsite that night which kept us all up!
We also went to McConnel's mill and Slippery Rock State Park. I was surprised they were open because of the budget making everything that is run by the state closed. (which is why we went to the campsite only down the street of where we were last year, instead of the Ohiopyle state park...which is not in Ohio, but in Pennsylvania)
At Slipper Rock, we went farther than when we went last year. I was glad. you see there was a place where there's a flat bank by the river where we could stand near. There was also giant rocks that we climbed and sat on (and think that there is fossils in!) But anyway in between the rocks, soemthing was telling me to go down there. So I did, and what did I find? A piece of Amethyst! That night I looked at my lucky "arrowhead" It's not really an arrowhead, but like the amethyst, something told me to pick it up, and at first glance I thought it was an arrowhead. But any way that night, I looked at the arrowhead I found in Jacobsburg, and the amethyst I found at Slippery Rock. They're the same exact shape (remember the "arrowhead" isn't and arrowhead) I placed the smaller amethyst on top of the "arrowhead" so everything aligns and then...

NOTHING HAPPENED!
Hmmm...and I thought it meant something. Both of these stones were calling me to pick it up. Maybe I need a rock (the arrowhead) a crystal (the amethyst) and some type of metal, most probably unrefined iron. I just need to find that metal. BUt wait, when we finally got back, I see that one of the stones that makes up our pathway, is in the same shape. I'm not gonna do any experiments though Back to the trip
The third day, we went into Pittsburgh. We picked up my brother Tim, and his girlfriend, Maureen, and went to Bucca di Peppo's. For those who do not know, it's an italian restaurant, where they serve family style, which means everything they have serves two or more (small) or 4 or more (large) We had veal, ravioli, and a green vegetable, that I didn't like too much, but it's not too bad. It's like spinach and is called Escarole. This is where I saw you Abby!
Then we went up the incline, which is this boxed in car, similar to a train, and it goes up or down the incline. You can get a round trip, or one way. You pay at the top, and if you pay for a round trip you get a ticket in which you have three hours to give to the security guard to go back down. You pay into a vending machine type money thing where you feed you dollar in and it spits it back out. You have to pay exact change so mom was digging through her purse making sure we all had dimes.
In the cars you can see the whole city. Well at least downtown. Once you get up top and pay you can go around the rest of the city, or you can go to the lookouts. From the lookouts you can see the whole city. I got pictures of it. Then we went back down and saw the fountains dancing to Disney Music in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. After that, we went and dropped Tim and Maureen, and went back to the campsite. The next day we packed up our things and went home.
Oh and for info on the 3rd season of Avatar, check out my previous post!
