The Adventures Of Weaver Chapter Nine. Living under the Rising Sun
Weaver's mind was in a familiar place. he felt somewhere between the Abyiss he woke up form, and the relentless dream he had been having. but only the feel was there. he couldn't see what was happening. his eyes were clamped shut. slowly, he managed to open them, and saw he stood upon a cliff. Weaver looked over the scenery that the cliff towered over, and a horrific sight plauged his eyes.

he saw the entire forest burnt down, in a blood red sky. wood elf's lay severed, scattered across the forest of ash. and as Weaver looked on in horror, he saw Essence walking out of the forest. She looked up to Weaver, with tears in her eyes. Weaver tried to run to her, but was unable to move an inch. it was as if his muscels had tgurned into rock. all he could do was watch Essence fall to her knees, and then to her face. Weaver watched her in hopes of her waking up. but she didn't move.

Weavers muscles returned to him, and he fell to his knees in shame. he knew what he saw was just a dream, be he felt that the dream and the truth wern't too far apart.

"this...this is what is going to happen if i don't follow this up in time..."

he looked at the forest, to see how much it had aged in this future that Weaver was not going to let happen

"eighteen years..."

just as Weaver had finished studying the forest, a second figure walked out of the forest.

it was Jaylew. he slowly made his way towards the cliff. Weaver turned to run, but when he turned around, he saw Jaylew was stood behind him. Jaylew had swung his sword at Weavers neck, and Weaver had no time to react. and just as the blade connected with Weaver's neck, Weaver woke up from his nightmare with a yell that would shake the moon.

Weaver found himself layed down in a small room. there was a small light in the room and some food beside the light. though he was hungry, he didn't take the foods, in fear it might be poisoned.

he took another look around the room. it definatelly didn't look like a cell, or dungeon of any kind. the walls looked smooth with wood pannling across the bottom and a thin wall covering the top of the wall.

Weaver took a look at himself, and saw he was no longer in his own chlothes. he was in what looked like a dress, but upon further examination, fount they were very large trousers. and the top was just like a shirt, but with very large sleves.

Weaver pulled his shirt apart slightly, and saw a scar where his wound against Kusanagi had been stitched up. Weaver tucked his shirt back apropreatelly. Weaver then checked around the room for a door. but he couldn't find one.

Weaver's pacence was running thin. eventually, he lost his nerve, and started lashing out at the walls. evenutally, he broke through one of the walls with reletive ease.

Weaver made the hole bigger, and made his way outside. it was a bright sunny day. he saw he was in a small vilage. Weaver looked behind him, and saw he had been staying in what looked to him, the largest building in the vilage.

"Weaver."

a voice behind him called. Weaver turned around, and saw Kusanagi Mitsurugi standing there. shocked, Weaver said with a shakey voice.

"How do you know my name!?"

"You like to shout in your sleep"

Weaver put up his gurard, prepared to fight fist to fist. Kusanagi however merely chuckled.

"your sword skills were good, but i don't think your open hand skills would be on par with mine. how about we not fight, and i take you to see my lord? or of course, i could finish you where you stand."

"lord? what do you mean?" Weaver replied.

"he has heard about your battle with me. he has an intresting position for you."

Weaver felt like he was backed into a corner. he was alone in a vilage that could concivably attack him when he was asleep. Weaver had felt no choice but to be socal. he nodded his head

"Good. come with me."

Weaver followed Kusanagi to a chamber in the building he was staying in. inside the chamber was a man wearing chlothes similar to what Weaver and Kusanagi were wearing, but much brighter in colour. the man was kneeling. Kusanagi gave a deep bow to the man.

"My Lord. this is Weaver. he was the one i was telling you about."

Kusanagi looked at Weaver.

"What are you doing!? Bow!"

Weaver neglecantlly bowed to Kusanagi's Lord, and the Lord bowed in return to Weaver with confidence and respect.

"i am Kitano Kazuyo. Kusanagi has told me about you. you are going to be my new retainer"

Weaver felt backed into a corner again

"i'm sorry?"

"you will be my new retainer here. just like Kusanagi, you will serve me"

"thank you for the offer, but i'm on a journy right now. i haven't got time to attack people for you right now."

"such rudeness. i think you'll find this is not an offer. your our prisoner, and i have shown you respect. i demand you show respect to me. if you won't, i'm sure Kusanagi won't mind finishing what he started"

Weaver looked over at Kusanagi. his hand was rested on his sword. he then looked back at lord Kazuyo.

"okay. i guess i don't have much choice"

"Splendid. Then, from here on in, you shall be the Retainer, Shizuma Kawada."

"What!?"

Kusanagi hit Weaver out of the blue with his fist.

"How dare you speak back to your lord!? I should cut of your head!"

Lord Kazuyo held up his hand

"Kusanagi. he is not familiar with our ways. remember how you were, when i first hired you to be my retainer?"

"my Lord, forgive me"

Lord Kazuyo put his hand down.

"your name will be Shizuma Kawada. Weaver is certianlly not going to suit my Retainers. Kusanaki, can you please take Kawada to the training grounds? he has a long way to go before i can place my trust in him"

"Certianlly, my Lord"

Kusanagi took Weaver by the collar and started to drag him

"H-Hey!! Whats your problem!? i can walk damn it!"

Kusanagi continued to drag him out of the room.

"a long way to go..." muttered Lord Kazuyo
