Laughter is always the best cure for sadness...

Hello everyone, how is everyone going today ^__^? Fine I hope!

This weekend from friday to Sunday I won't be here on MyO. I'm going to my cousin's gf's baby shower. I met her at the wedding and she was so sweet ^__^. Just a warning to everyone I talk to on IM. Even though I do not post during the weekends I still visit my friends on Saturday and Sunday.

Yesterday was a nice day ^__^. Spen the day hanging out with my grandmother. She can walk without very much help now which is great ^__^. The physical therapist comes every other day to help her build her leg muscles back up and she is doing great ^__^! I'm really happy her progress is going this well.

There is something I have forgotten to tell you guys that happened over the weekend. Well it's not that I forgot it's just I didn't know what to say. Over the weekend my dad's father died on Saturday. My dad left on Sunday to go to the funeral in Puerto Rico which is where my parents are from. He's coming back tomorrow from the island. So far he seems ok, but I know it saddens him. The way I feel is that I wish I could have seen my grandfather more often. We only get to go to Puerto Rico every so often mostly because the army has my dad going every which way and doesn't give him a lot of time for vacation. Currently everyone is doing fine.

On a funny note when my dad called my mom yesterday he said the funeral was very funny. I'm guessing my aunt wanted to go dramatic and throw herself on the coffin screaming "Oh lawd! Don't take him away! Nooo!". I guess when he gets back we'll find out if she actually did or was close to it. To me humor is always a good pick me up from something sad. I guess my dad feels the same way.

Well that's all for today everyone. I hope that everyone has a great day!

Fact: Pokemon are fighting alongside U.S. troops right now in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dialga, the Coalition Forces choose you!

Don't worry everyone it was no one here that was like that. It was just from looking at sites over the time I was on this site. Most of the people who do what I said are very young so it feels like the world is crumbling around them but actually it isn't and talking to someone you trust who gives you good advice will make you feel better. It was just something I noticed that a lot of the young children here talk about. I guess we could call it "The Musings of an Older Kid" which is what I am. No worries everyone, something like that will never be written for a while.

On Sunday I went to the Georia Aquarium. I had to wake up at the god forsaken hour of 4 in the morning but it was worth it to beat the crowds that go to the aquarium everyday. The aquarium is two hours away from where I live, so I had to get dressed and ready before 5:30 am which was when we were leaving my house.

It was so freaking cool! They had 4 whale sharks all in the same tank and they would swim around the top and open their mouths. The fish I found most amusing was a group of Grouper fish. They stared into the glass as if they were watching us. In actualty they tend to hang out in groups underneath cliff over hangs in dark areas. So they were trying to get to the place that was dark to them but couldn't because of the glas. After we saw all of the exhibits we got to go behind the scenes and see how everything works and we saw them feed the Bulga Whales ^__^! we Also got to stand over the top of the tank that held the Whale Sharks and the other fish and watch them swim underneath the bridge and around the tank. It was so cool ^__^! I loved it.

Hmm that's about it for today everyone! I hope that everyone has a great day!

I was told to speak my mind and I'm doing it

Hello everyone. Today's post may be a little bit different than what I usually write about. Everyone here may know me as the person who writes funny (or not so amusing, hey everyone's humors are different) antidotes about things around me. Or just generally nice posts about my day or something good that has happened. Well today's post is actually quite different than anything I've written so far.

I have noticed while cruising the MyO that a lot of kids who are younger than me say they have a whole bunch of problems no one can solve or they already hate their parents for X or Y reason. To those people I would like to say "Shut up."

I know that it has been hard for you this past year or the pst few days but if every post has you saying that you hate your parents but you suddenly love them because they bought you something is totally wrong. In no way shape or form should you say you hate your parents. Sure you can dislike them because you think a punishment is unfair but never say you hate them. It's like sticking a knife in their hearts, even if your mother may act cruel or be mean sometimes she still wants what's best for you she just can't express it the way it needs to be expressed. That is how the way she learned it from her mom. If it is a huge problem then try to get help for your parents if they keep doing things that hurt you (physically, mentally, emotionally).

Sure for one I have disliked my parents when I got punished but I still loved them and I never told them once that I hated them because I would or could hate them.

As for the endless amount if problems that seem to crop up every time you post, just try to fix as much as you can if you can and focus on the bright side of everything. Bright sides are you have some place to live, you have food, you have clothes on your back, you have a parent(s), grandparents, or anyone who is taking care of you that loves you unconditionally. So stop whining about something that is already fix stop saying your life sucks because believe me you could have been worser off. If the problems are getting out of your hand don't sit and feel like you can't do anything go and tell someone whoever you trust the most about it. Everyone has problems whether anyone knows about it or not and everyone has someone or a few people to depend on to help them through. So when your friends say we're hear for you stop listening the to things in your head and listen to them. They want to help you so you should tell them what is wrong not wait until the last possible mintue to let anyone know and by them it's already too late to help them. Sometimes after you talk it doesn't seem so big and you can feel like yourself again.0

If I offended anyone, I didn't mean too but sometimes telling the truth this way can offend someone. If I could have done it in a nicer way I would, so again sorry for offending anyone who reads this. Don't worry you won't see anything like this for a while.

It's sad when you see a grownman dressed as a warlock but it's even sadder if he's dressed as Tingle

Hello everyone! How was your day?

Yesterday I went to the mall with my bf Charles. We saw "Wild Hogs". It was so funny ^__^, we both couldn't stop laughing. Then after that we walked around for a little bit and looked at some books, games and music.

As the world holds it breath in anticipation for the last Harry Potter book dressed as witches and wizards (some of them adults) the rest of the world has gone to see "Chuck and Larry" today. "Chuck and Larry looks very funny ^__^. I might see it later. Now it is time for the monthly update of "News from my Town"!

New's from my town:
-Micheal Vick has been arrested because he was raising fghting dogs (which is illegal here as it is everywhere in America but that doesn't stop people from doing it anyway). That's actually a state news but yeah.
-Most of the downtown area of my town has been remodeled and a whole bunch of businesses have moved in, which is great!
-My Grandmother is healing nicely ^__^. I'm super happy about that.
-Summer is coming to a close, booo.
-Retired pro golfers say that steroids were common in golf (how...strange)

And finally the extra ordinaryly great news! My parents are celebrating their 24th anniversary this Sunday ^__^. As a result my parents are going on a trip to celebrate their anniversary. They are leaving this afternoon and returning later this weekend. I'm happy for them ^__^.

Well that's about it for today everyone! I hope you have a great day!

In the Circle of Life~! Hamimnamineminamaway~! It moves us all

Hello everyone. Sorry I wasn't on yesterday much, was running some errands.

Got some new books from the library yesterday and deposited some money into my bank account. I was able to visit some of the sites but I hope no one is mad at me for not getting to theirs.

I love to read. It's one of my favorite passtimes amoung other things. I have liked to read ever since I was little and as a result you found me reading more than being outside, either it was that or I was playing a video game. I used to read books that were pretty thick and be done with them after two days. Now I can't really read all the time because I have other things that I am doing but I still love to read and as a result I have read everything I own and everything my sisters and parents own. Right now I'm glad I got some new books, but that means reading late into the night though ^__^".

If anyone asks yes I can be weird if you ever met me in real life, not sure if I should use it as a compliment. I think I weird people out because before they know me I'm normal then I say something strange and they look at me differently. Or rather I don't really say anything at all, never was much of a talker, I'd rather listen.

I think I already did a flash back earlier this week but I'll do another one just for fun ^__^.
WARNING
THIS MAY WEIRD OUT SOME OF YOU AND YOU MIGHT START TO THINK OF ME DIFFERENTLY AFTER YOU READ THIS.

Anyway, when my sisters and I were younger we would take our underware that was washed (of course) and we would put them on our heads much to the dismay of my mom. After we would do that, we then dawned socks on our hands like gloves and called ourselves the "Panty Nurses". I don't know the name seemed cool at the time but now it brings back funny memories of my mom saying "Stop that! Take those off your head!" Surprisingly my sisters and I haven't changed at all since putting the underware on our heads and we regularly do that when we can. Yeah told you guys I can be quite strange.

Well that all for today everyone! I hope that everyone has a fun day!

Positive Thinking: the difference between being eaten alive by a shark and being okey-dokey.

Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a nice day today ^__^.

Yes I had fun scaring my sisters but unfortunatly I made my little sister cry so I had to apologize. She stopped crying after a minute or two so she was fine.

Today I cleaned my mom's fish tank. It took a long time but that's ok, I'm getting paid for it. I also registered for classes and was a little confused about a fee they had put on one of my art classes. I had to pay $42 for laboratory fees for taking 2-d design art class. I'm not sure if they started it now or it was always there. Hmmm not really sure.

Then I watched a movie called "The Last Mimzy." To me it was good, and I can see why it was popular when it came out a while ago. It is a little bit a kid's movie but also along the lines of a older kids movie.

Well that's about it. I hope that everyone has a great day!

Whenever they push, push back

Good morning everyone ^__^. How is everyone doing today? Fine I hope.

My weekend was nice. I went to the mall with my bf and we saw "Hot Fuzz". It was a good movie though some scenes they didn't really need to show so much blood but it was good. It had funny parts in it and serious parts too. After that we walked around some more and hung out and talked.

So what did everyone do this weekend? Did you guys see any cool movies? I'm sort of waiting to see the new movies because the ticket prices are expensive. I'm not really fond of $8.00 ticket price. To me it's a little bit over board. I remember when it was cheaper than $8.00 and it was around $5.00. I liked that price but they shot up the prices over the years since I was young. I wonder how much a movie ticket would cost when my children go to the movies?

Enough about my movie ticket price dislike, we are now going into the past (the past of this past weekend) for another of Catherine's flash backs.

On Saturday I hide in the bathroom of my Mom and Dad's room for the intention of poping out and scaring my little sister and older sister. I don't get to do it often because of some reason, so I decided why not tonight. So I hid there and then I heard them coming and I slowly turned the door handle of the bathroom door and popped out going "Rar!" Scared the pants off my little and older sister.

Ok that's about it ^__^. I hope that everyone has a great day!

In coffee shops there is always some guy in front of the line who has an attitude and says

Hello everyone. How is everyone's day today? Having fun ^__^? I hope so.

Today I am off to the mall with my bf Charles. I plan on wearing the shoes I was talking about a few days ago. I finally got them. Probably when we go to the mall we are going to see a movie and eat some food.

What's everyones plans for the weekend? Anyone plan on seeing one of the new movies that came out in the past week? I might but then again I'm not sure if I would like to pay the $8.00 ticket fee plus an extra fee for some snacks. I'm a firm believer in buying some snacks before you go into the movie theater from the dollar store. That way you already have your drinks and snacks and only have to pay for the tickets. Yay for cheapness! Too bad the dollar tree in the mall closed and moved away, darn *snaps fingers*. Charle and I would regularly buy things from the dollar tree to eat in the movie theater.

Have you ever noticed that in coffee shops you always have those people who order half of everything in their coffee? It's kind of like they think they are really cool because what they are drinking isn't coffee at all but just cream and sugar. Then you see the artsy dressing people who like to talk about the exisential movement of Van Gohs paintings where he dipicts the feelings of the modernest movement (I have no idea what I just said but I'm sure neither do they). Then I noticed that a lot of political people from the college like to hang out in coffee shops. I'm not sure if their trying to prove a point by drinking coffee as they silently or loudly plan their next protest topic to protest about in front of the government building...in a coffee shop. I thought if you were trying to change and protest the government you would at least plan it in a less public place, like for example your mom's basement. I don't know, when I buy coffee I just buy it to enjoy the aroma (I like French Vanilla and this coffee called Sugar Cookie. Mmmm tastes and smells so good) and taste not get into a argument about anything. Maybe that's why if I ever stayed in one I would be the one in the back mocking everyone else as I sipped my coffee.

I hope everyone has a great day today!

Wingardium Laviosaa!

Hello everyone ^__^.

How was everyone's days yesterday? Had fun?

Yesterday I went with my sister to a pet store called Petco. It was pretty cool and they had these dog treats that looked like cookies. In fact they were cookies, just that the chocolate in them was a form of sugar free chocolate that dogs can eat and anybody who cannot have sugar can eat. The Petco people said it was fine to eat the cookies because even though they are for dogs people can eat them too. They said many a time parnets would buy a pound of them and give it to their kids.

Strange how things that are for dogs like treats can sometimes be eatten by us. Anyone ever heard of Doggie ice cream? That can't be eatten by us but it's really cool you can get some for your dog to give to him as a specail treat or if it's hot outside he can cool down with something cold.

I'm glad that everyone likes the background and post image ^__^. Today's is brought you by my bf Charles (Legacyof). He does them too and I like his as well ^__^.

I hope that everyone will have a great day!

This the song about a little boy. A little boy and his Zaboos. A little boy and his Three Zaboos. He had a sad Zaboo, a mad Zaboo, and a Mute Zaboo and also a hippo.

Today's background and post box image is brought to you by my friend oOoANIMEoOo. I thought that this one was really cool looking and I thought it was good ^__^.

So How is everyone's day yesterday? Had fun?

My day yesterday was really nice. I went to my bf's house to drop off some things I had forgotten to give him Saturday. They were a computer game called City of Villans (a friend of ours doewsn't want it so she gave it to me to give to him), A game I bought called Mushashi (that one looks pretty interesting, and a burnt cd of some 80s rock and pop music I made for him. Yes I know cheesy with the burnt cds but I love doing that for him plus he burns most of his cds and gives them to me all the time he gets a new one so I am returning the favor ^__^.

Then I headed to the mall with my two sisters and my aunt and saw some really cute shoes! I wanted to get them but I didn't have any money on me to get them. They were so cute though, maybe tomorrow I'll get them. After that I just headed home.

It is now time for another rendition of Catherine's random flashback that has nothing to do with the post! Yay!

One day when me and Charles were hanging out after school in High school, we often saw the drama kids run by or more than likely hear them before we see them. So one day we saw him. He was one of the most girlist freshman we have ever seen. He walked like a girl (but better) and sounded like a girl, he even wore pants better than a girl (that was creepy and sad at the same time) and at first we both thought he was one until he went to the boys bathroom. Our friend Shaun was in the bathroom and when he came out he had a weird expersion on his face. Sort of like O-O. Charles and I started to laugh really hard because he thought the guy was a girl too. We saw him many times after that, he was very nice.

That amusing story was brought to you by sand it's everywhere get used to it! So I hope that eveyone has a great day!
