   Chapter 4: Autumn
I got up and walked over to the log where Michi was in. I laid down next to him and shut my eyes, falling asleep. Only did I fall asleep when I saw a snowflake fall from in front of me, and land on my muzzle.

By the time I woke up, snow covered the ground like a blanket. I got up without Michi on the side of me and walked outside. I peeked around to find Michi. My ears perked up and turned to the right when I herd him howl. He was standing between a long tree-less tree and a big, snowy pine tree.

Still howling, Michi opened his eyes and sat down. I walked over to him slowly, just in case. He stopped to turn and look at me. With no expression on his face whatsoever he looked at me with his bright green eyes.
I smiled, trying to make it seem like I wasn’t going to do anything stupid. His expression on his faced changed, and it seemed like he knew something was up. I waved at Michi and ran over him, acting nice. He smirked. Still smiling myself, I walked closer. A clump of snow fell off a tree branch and it fell on me. Buried in the snow, I popped out with the chills.
Then Michi finally smiled. He began to laugh. “what?!” I shouted in embarrassment. “you’re covered in snow, dummy” he still laughed. Once he was done laughing, I already crawled my way up to him.
“Lets see who has the last laugh now” I smiled, holding a ball of snow. He jumped back as I threw the snowball full force into his face. He fell back onto his butt with a freezing cold-- red face. I laughed and pointed with amusement. He began to blush. He got up, wiping off the snow from his clothes and bent down and made his own little snowball. Right when he went to throw it at me, a wolf jumped on him. With my lazy senses, I jumped on the wolf, making a pile on Michi.
The wolf turned around so I could see its face. Without growling, I looked into her eyes. Orange eyes, pier white wolf with a spot between her head and on her tail. I stepped back, knowing she was no harm. She got up, dusting herself off. She looked up at me and tide her hand behind her back and said “Hi.”
As young as I was, I couldn’t stop looking at her chest. She was wearing a tight red shirt with a bit of blue mixed, she had baggy black jeans, cut at the bottom. not to mention her hoodie over her shirt.
I gulped. Michi knocked me in the shoulder. He cleared his throat and stated, “uhm, Oko, this is.. Autumn, my girl” he said, blushing. “oh c’mon, Michi you can at least say the rest!” Autumn demanded. “girlfriend..” Michi said fast and quietly, looking off to the side. I smiled. “nice to meet you, Autumn” I shook her hand.

Damn!! I thought. Why can’t she be single??
Autumn smiled at me. I felt like it was autumn, as in the season. I smiled back. She giggled. I giggled on the inside.
Days after, Autumn followed us like a baby duckling following its mother. I was the mother, because I didn’t mind. “Is there anymore coming, Michi?” I asked, setting foot back onto the streets. “Not that I know of” he was holding Autumn’s hand. I grinned, trying to keep concentrated, I store into thin air and thought of something else. I yawned, “Michi, we haven’t eaten or slept in days!!” I leaned down, stomach growling.
“I thought you were the leader, think of something.” he responded. With that word you I got so confused my head was spinning. “me? The leader??” I smiled. “But we haven’t agreed!” “fuck agreeing” he said. Yep, that’s Michi for yah. I smiled, but I was smiling more on the inside. I was so happy, I couldn’t think.
I looked around, glaring for food. My sensed kicked up on something. My ears perked and I breathed in for so many times, sniffing the warm scent. “This way” I took off, brushing against the stupid people. One person decided they were going to stand their ground.
I stood there like a dog, with Michi and Autumn behind me. “scuse me” I said politely. “Hey that dog talked!” the man shouted pointing at me. I flattened my ears in shame.

“Mutt!” cried another. I backed up, not wanting to hurt one of the humans. Without having an angry look on my face, I replaced it with an ashamed and scared look, just to fool them. One human went to hit me like I was trash. I snapped at them, warning them to get away. The lady jumped back in fright and yelled, “this dog needs to be put down!”
I grinned. “won’t get him, boys” said Autumn, walking up in front of me with a smile on. “cause he has me!” she cried. Sounds just like Michi… I thought. “She talks, too?” cried the first man. “hell yeah” Autumn replied with a bigger smile. “Can you fight?!” the man said, stealing her smile. “Wanna see?” she leaned down, into a fighting position.


The man screamed, “she’s trying to hurt me! Someone! Please help!” he said as he store into the sky, cupping his hands around his mouth. He looked down at Autumn, who now had a evil look on her face. “Try me, big boy” she threatened. I stood in amusement. A man with a big net went up to Autumn and placed the net over her.

Autumn began to spit with anger, as she grabbed the net and shook it, splitting it in half. “I have no time for this!” she said, taking off. I ran after her, jumping over the people and Michi following
