My Avatar

Yume no Tsubasa
Neutrality is the path of cowards and arbitrators; after all, even a pacifist has something they believe in. Even one who professes to be a pacifist may, in the most desperate situation, harm another to save themselves.

I am a child of seventeen years. One who enjoys anime and manga, although she rarely experiences either more than a few evenings a week. I am told that my artwork is good, but although what is seen in my head can now usually be drawn, I often notice that there is room for improvement. Most often, my drawings are of characters from my own stories, as I am rarely satisfied with fanart if it is not exact (although, that does defy the purpose of fanart). I make no secret of the fact that I consider myself insane; people rarely ask. I absolutely love music; music conveys mood in a way no other medium can. I occasionally play video games on something such as PS2, but right now I'm pretty into Princess Maker 2 on my computer and GBA games.

   Lame!
Tonight's Naruto episode was a really lame filler. The best part of it was when I misheard them call Kakashi "The Coffee Ninja".

Surrealism
I just watched the first 3 of 7 RahXephon DVDs (I got the series for Christmas), and... it's an interesting series? After the first three or four episodes the plot makes sense, but there are definitely some weird moments in the series (at least one every episode) and the occasional "What the...?!".
Characters of interest(to me):
There's a girl with pink hair who uses "Ra-ra?" as a word, and is scary as heck (though no longer for the reasons mentioned...).
A girl who refuses to exist (not exactly, but I really don't know just WHAT the HECK is going on with her; she initiates a lot of the weirdness, but I've gotten somewhat used to her...).
The cutest guy I have ever seen in an anime, and I'm not referring to his looks (although he does look pretty cute). Just describing him as sweet wouldn't cover it. Weird thing is, the guy's in the military and he's the one who's in charge when the commander's away! Can't help but wonder about that...

New scanner!!
I just got a new scanner on Saturday, and I'm pretty happy about that, even though my computer lacks any programs which allow one to easily resize pictures (hopefully, that matter shall soon be solved). I'm going to have to start drawing fanart now, huh? Which reminds me, I had a really weird dream (almost a week ago) and it had Hiei and Motoko Kusanagi in it, along with a blue-haired girl who looked like both, but was neither Yukina nor Botan. It got weirder as I started to wake up, because that's when Kurama showed up... He fell out of the sky... (It's probably a good thing I don't dream about anime too often.)

Length of time
I changed how long I've been an anime fan from "Around 1994, though I didn't know what anime was then" to "Since before I can remember". The reason? Well, have you ever heard of a show called "The Noozles"? Before yesterday, I sure hadn't, but apparently, I used to watch it, and it seems it was an anime.

New Year's Eve Fireworks
At about 10:30 yesterday,(if anyone cares, I'm typing this at 1:26 AM while listening to Utada Hikaru's Letters) a noise was heard in my house, like the whistling of a bird. We all quieted down to listen, and realized that it was fireworks. I went outside, and watched them in my pajamas. They were very pretty, although they were then near the end. I was quite happy, to be able to watch fireworks on New Year's Eve.
