Still at mom's
yep still here and alittle sleepy actually >p< been playing some pokemons here and there, and am up to the 5th gym >o>!! yay me! Admittedly I've been a little depriving of the pokemons lately, but I think I'm making okay enough time on it. I think I've logged in like 65 hours or so. (I REALLY like the digging game) And have been helping mom out a little on her sims2 game. She wanted us to build an entire collage together, and as usual >p> I make awesome buildings.
In other news: uuuh.. not much. no tablet = no drawings. I could use cloud's tablet, BUT I don't like how it feels... too different or something. I can't remember what the brand is, 'cause it's not Wacom. I have drawn a few things on paper, but I don't think I'll leave with them in my hand 7p7 my mom would like them too much and want to keep them. no biggie though.

rar! over at mom's!
So we're over at mom's for a few days, meaning no matter how much I want to post something, I pretty much won't 'til I get back. no problem really...
In other news, we picked up some DS games! Elite Beat Agents, Children of Mana, and Phoenix Wright. So far, EBA is really fun, and well... phoenix wright... I'm not sure yet xpx' cloud's playing it and appears to keep playing 'til she beats it. quoted from her: "I find it hard to break away from the game, and once I beat it, I'm going to want more.... MORE!!!!" <<'.....Oh well.
I've also been looking for some MMORPGs (that's online role playing games-- like World of Warcraft or Guild Wars) that are free and well... >p> something that's entertaining of course. lol found a few, but no definent stuff. Mostly looking for friends and cloud though.. I may get into some if they are interesting enough. you know something NOT runescape xpx'
Edit: In responce to the question about playing "gaia online" or "maple story" Gaia's technically not even a game. It's a fancy forum site with some mini games so you can buy stuff for your avi. They also imo aren't the nicest folk in the world >_>'
As for Maple Story: It doesn't even look good, much less entertaining. (maybe I'm picky about this :p?) but I HAVE found some decent mmos that I've been eyeing... none of which are in english...yet.
Dream of Mirror online no information on this yet as to when the english come out.
Perfect world online This is like China's Equvilant to World of Warcraft. And it's free. English should be out soon, but weither anyone from the US can get in... I dunno

So I've got another project going on
Yep. Another project. This time though a side scrolling game Code wanted to do. I shorta started making some sprites for it and before you know it o_O I was helping doing a lot of the sprites... xpx' well more so most of them, but that's okay. I'm having fun with it. I'll see about getting a link to it on the site whenever we are further along if anyone's interested in playing. We could always use the testers for tweaking.
Drawings: eh... whenever I feel like it. Honestly I hate not having anything to do, so I always keep projects setting on the side so I never really feel burned out on one particular thing. This is pretty much the same thing.. I've got projects that I'm working on because I've burnt myself out/still in a slump on drawing for the time being.

Here's some things to make you laugh and keep you busy:

flash game: Momentum Missile Mayhem

Stiiiilll ina slump.... -_-'
I'm convinced that there's a misalignment of planets or something that's preventing many of us from drawing. >_>' nearly everyone I know has some kinda block on their part at some level.
Anyways, how's the weather been for everyone n_n? it's been weird here >o> poring rain in the morning, sunny hot and dry in the afternoon.
Nothing new here other than I just haven't felt like doing anything the past few days, so I'm just gonna take it easy for a bit before attempting anything again. could be the weather... can't stand summertime here, it's so bloody hot. We have reasons to believe that the humidity here can actually be worse than a place like Arizona or New Mexico.

Photoshop tutorials!
So I was looking through some Photoshop websites, looking for tutorials, brushes and whatnots, when I came across this one place that had easy to follow Photoshop tutorial videos
Shooting star Sunset Silhouette are among some I found.
I'll see about trying to draw this week. I've got some new brushes and tools that I found and would like to try them out n.n. Also, CS >p> I haven't forgotten about your drawing, it's just I prefer that I don't do requests during slumps, and photoshop tutorials are a little lighter on the list of things to do. lol don't worry, I found it, and it's nearly finished, just needs to be finished coloring and some touch ups added to it.
Anyways, I'd like to try out some of the new toys I've obtained. one of them being for illustrator called "live trace" which takes a drawing and gives it a nice crisp edge similar to inking, which of course as we all know, I'm not good with such things, buuut this could mean that you may see some drawings with a ink-like outline to them. I may or may not start using it often, though probably not since it's just not how I do my artwork. Still, it's a neat feature I'd like to try at least once.
So how's the weather been for everyone out there?
Edit: also apparently there's a program called "manga studio" which is designed specifically for making comics.. o_O I'm not sure how though, but here is the free trial for it
also here is a collection of various anime tutorials n' stuff that can prove very useful

Sooo.. how is everyone?
Okay so if it's not apparent yet >_>' I've been uber busy and jsut have had no time to draw or anything. Been busy learning junks from like everything, and to top that off xpx" I'm in a artistic sluuuump! how fun is that?
well I've searched the internets alittle in my small spare time, so allow me to share with you some things....
Super Mario Bros. Z ep.6 just came out the other day. So awesome there's just no words for it. If you haven't seen the others I strongly suggest you do.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl's website is doing daily updates taunting us all with it's greatness.
For the game makers, I'd suggest keeping an eye on the program Stencyl it's not quite ready yet it seems, but something any inspiring game maker would probably keep an eye on.
digibutter.nerr this one is for the paper mario fans. If you've played the recent games, you'll catch it no problem.
So there ya have it! some things to check out!
btw, in light of this slump, I'm willing to take up requests for tutorials both drawing and photoshop.

Cactus growing!
So We've been trying to grow some cactus lately, and quite frankly I think we messed up on a few things. I went online and most of the sites say basically the same thing-- get some dirt, moisten it, make sure there's no excess water, best to have sand to help drainage sprinkle-- NOT bury seeds over dirt, set in warm climate with lots of sunlight, and wait. Some can germinate within a few days, others can take awhile. For the most part, cacti can live in temperatures as low as 50F some as low as about 35 which will be no problem on my part really, and should be watered every 2-4 weeks
So anyways, yeah.. I think we did a few things wrong >_>' since the few that did come up doesn't exactly look too great right now.
Not only that, but I've been told by grammy that the dirt and seeds that I had are placed under the kitchen sink... which they haven't >_>' in which case, she thought mother may have taken them for whatever reasons and she didn't. *sigh* Oh well.. mom's already opted to get new dirt and seeds anyways. I'll keep looking for mine though e___e'
So no only do the few plants I do have look bad, I can't currently stick them into a new pot without the proper dirt. peachy. Oh well.. hopefully next time, we'll get it all straighten out and everything will be awsome. btw in case anyone was curious, I have no idea what kind of cacti we have, since we bought one of those lil' grab bag packets and it has all different kinds. Prickly pear is among them though.
Oh yesh n_n and pokemon pearl is practically in my HANDS!!!

Sooo I was messing around last night:
So I've gotten a hold of a 3D modeling program called "Z Brush" It's a program that caters more to the artists than the modeling experts in that it supports tablet pressure sensitivity and treats everything more like clay than a 3D polygon item. Imagine if you will, opening the program up and finding yourself looking at a sphere. You use the tablet to sculpt and shape it, adding and taking away just like clay to make the desired object....
Unfortunately all my early attempts shall forever be hidden among the masses, but I will show two I did. They look like round fish-ball things. Like a pokemon and a digimon gone horribly wrong.
On a plus though, fins are really fun to make
horrible pokemon reject here
Horrible Digimon reject here
have fun laughing at them, I'm gonna probably learn how to actually USE the program so that I'm not so limited to round weird ball objects
