Chic 2
Well, it seems my latest project is drawing "Sexy Anime Girls". Heh. Who'd have ever thought a female would be asked to do that sort of thing. Lol. I guess it can't be helped. I can't seem to draw guys that look male anyway.
Yesterday I drew my first attempt at it, "Chic"...and decided I hated it. The foot was too flat and the line of the back was weird...if a person actually had a spine like that...well, ow!
So today I ended up redrawing it. I kept the face the same, or so I thought, but the first one had this sort of elegant, "are you looking at me?" expression on, and in the revamp it looks more like "I have a sword and I know how to use it." The hair also seems a little more wild. I wonder why. I think I used a thicker outline, or something. All in all though, I think this one is better. It doesn't look like she has a broken spine and a crushed foot, though I'm still unsure about the right foot...I think it's correct, but that angle is throwing me off. Hmm... Her left arm still seems odd though, too thin, or something.
Well, I suppose it works though, for the most part. If I keep picking it apart I'll be redrawing the same picture for the next ten years. I hope the next one leaves me feeling more satisfied though.
