Am I the only one who is unable to submit new wallpapers? I haven't been able to post anything new in a number of weeks. My stuff just gets ignored with no explanation. I've tried to contact the powers that be, but there's been no response. I'm really quite disappointed. I wish I knew why my submissions are being thrown out. *sighs*

Okay... I'm getting rather miffed at this site for never posting my wallpapers. I've been trying for at least a week to post something new, and the wallpapers never show up in the database. What the heck? I don't understand.

Yay!

Finally, after a couple of weeks, I've managed to get my Yondaime/Naruto wallpaper approved! Me = happy I've been getting such nice comments on some of my work... *sniffle*... I feel loved! I hope you all have a fabulous day!

I wonder...

I realize that I'm still rather new here and haven't learned everything there is to know about the site. I have a concern, though. There have been a couple of wallpapers that I've submitted that, as far as I can tell, are just ignored. I'm not given any reason as to why they aren't posted with the rest of the submitted wallpapers. Is that normal? I do put work into my pieces and I love to share them, so I get rather disappointed when they are rejected (again, as far as I know) with no explanation. It seems a bit odd to me. I put too much work into this one not to share, so hey, it's going to be my site's background for a while. *giggles* Hopefully I won't get in trouble for posting it anyway, since I don't know what's wrong with it in the first place to be rejected by theOtaku. *shrugs* I hope all is well with everyone! Here is my recently rejected piece. Feel free to leave comments and/or criticism if you wish! I enjoy feedback... it's how I learn! Take care, all!

My thoughts so far...

I've been wandering around the site a bit now, commenting on things here and there, and enjoying the work of many different people. Fun! I've found that my style differs from many here. I like things very simple. I prefer clean-cut graphics and bold colors. If art gets too busy, I tend to lose interest. Short attention span, I suppose. Hehe. Also, as far as Naruto pieces go... I think I'm the only one on the planet who is not obsessed with one or more "couples." SasuSaku, NaruHina, NejiTen, etc. etc. Am I the only one who has little interest in who pairs up with who down the road? Don't get me wrong, the little love stories add to the plot, but I've noticed that many fan-artists spend a lot of time thinking about who is the best match for who and creating related works. I enjoy the art anyway, but I don't think I'll be putting emphasis on love stories that haven't really come about yet. Cheers to all of you who are playing matchmakers!
