Hey everyone! *gives everyone a big cheezy grin* I’m on cloud nine right about now ^_^ Why, you ask? Because I found the music video to my favorite song! One of my brother’s friends gave him a CD with a bunch of songs on it and I totally fell in love with one of the songs, but I had no idea what the title was or who sung it, which was a bummer -_- So I went online typed in a couple of the song’s lyrics and found out that my favorite song is titled “Crazy For This Girl” and it’s sung by two brothers, Evan & Jaron. So I looked around on their site a little, and found the music video *contented sigh*

Oh, I’m really sorry if I don’t have a chance to get to everyone’s site today! My brother’s keeping me pretty busy, gotta take care of the little cripple ^_^;;

Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for the sweet comments about my brothe's surgery, they really made me feel a lot better ^_^ He's doing okay now, he's just trying to heal. He should be as good as new in a couple weeks ^_^

Oh, and guess what?! Today is the one year anniversary of my MyOtaku page! I can't beleive this year has flown by. It's been so great here, but only because I was lucky enough to make some awesome friends! Thanks to all of you for your friendships! I treasure every single one ^_^

"Rurouni Kenshin FanArt Contest"

The contest is open to everyone, The contest is a Fanart contest.The drawing can be original, or copied from a picture, it dosnet matter, you wont be judged any different.The contest will have 5 judges, judgeing on what picture they like the most.The judges cannot enter the contest.

Judgeing Methods:

We will all pick our 3 favorite drawings, then the judges will put them all together and rate them on a rateing system form 1-3, 1 being the best,2 beaing you the second best,3 being the third best, whoever has the least amout of points in the end will win.We will not, judge you harder if you drawing is a Fanart one,and we will not judge you easier if your drawing is a original,It really dosent matter.You will be judged on creativity,neatness, and how well the picture flows with everything,and your artistic talent.

Rules:

You CAN NOT STEAL OTHERS ART, if we find out you have you will be disqualified,you can only send in one drawing, so make it a good one.The drawing has to be about the theme, it can have any character from the anime, not just the main.When you send the file,it should be 750 by 1,000 pixels,and under 200K. Hey everyone! This is me: O___O I'm beginning to get a lil stressed out. My brother's having surgery on his shoulder on Monday. For those of you who don't know my brother's dislocated his shoulder three times in the past two years so now he has to have surgery -_-I'm getting a little nervous about it. I'd really appreciate your prayers for him!

Hey everyone! Well, my brother’s finalizing the plans for seeing the Village. I think we’ll be going on Friday and three of his friends might be coming with us, YAY! I might not be as scared with four big guys around me. Atleast I’m hoping ^_^;;

Oh, and just for a random fact,on Saturday there will be a blue moon. If you’re wondering what exactly a blue moon is (because I had been for quite a while) it’s when there are two full moons in the same month. I told my brother about the blue moon and hes was like, “Really?!” and I was like, “Yeah! It’s when there’s two full moons in the same month!” and he just looked at me all disappointed and said, “Oh, you mean the moon doesn’t actually turn blue?” No Cory, no it doesn’t. Well, I think blue moons are cool and now you can impress your family and friends with your extensive knowledge of the solar system ^_^

Hey everyone! Hmm...well, not much going on since my last post. On Thursday, I spent the whole day out with my mom shopping for a new refrigerator. Our old one was 23 years old and my mom was afraid it was just gonna die one day so we got a new one.

On Friday, I watched The Sixth Sense with my brother. Oh my goodness, what a cool movie!! I’ve been wanting to see it for a while since it had one of my favorite actors in it (Haley Joel Osment) so my brother borrowed it from one of his friends. It was so cool! The acting was great and the ending was the best I’ve seen in long time. At the ending I was sitting on the floor with my eyes wide opened, my hands over my mouth, saying “ Oh my goodness, oh my goodness...” I just don’t want to give anything away of you haven’t already seen it ^_^ the only problem with the movie...it totally freaked me out!!! Okay, I scare very easily, so maybe I’m exaggerating, but the first couple of ghosts scared me out of my mind! Especially the kid who “wanted to see his Dad’s gun”, if you know what I mean O__O I sepnt thrity minutes trying to convince myself to turn the light off and go to sleep, and only when I was holding my giant teddy bear and playing Josh Groban as loud as I dared. Other than the freaky ghosts, it was great! I think my brother’s just trying to prepare me for The Village. He wants me to go see it with him Saturday, I think I’ll go...I think, as I said I get scared very easily.

Anyways on a lighter not, I’m done with my Psychology class!!! *runs around the house screaming for joy I took my final exam yesterday ^_^ Yay! The best part, no matter what I get on the exam, I’ll get a B in the class, so I’m happy!

Hey everyone! Well, I finally found some time to tell y’all about my week. Hehe, this might actually be a decent sized post…but I doubt it ^_^;; Okay, I suppose we start on Sunday. After church we droze to the University. I checked in, found my room, met all my roomates and sat around for a couple hours. As I was walking out of my room and noticed that I recognized the girl in front of me, then I screamed! Lindsey was standing in front of me. She was a friend I had met last year at camp and hadn’t seen since! I was shocked to see her, but so happy ^_^ We hung out together for the rest of the week. That night we went to the art department and chose what classes we were going to take. That’s how art camp works. You choose four classes you want to take and then you go to them everyday. You chose one for first hour, second hour and so on. For my first hour I took Aquatint. Aquatint is a type of printing. You get a plate of Zinc, rub some stuff (I can’t remember what it was called...) on the plate, put paper on top and draw whatever you want on the paper. Then when you take the paper off you put the plate into acid. Wait a couple minutes. Then take the plate out. The acid eats away what you drew so that when you put ink on the plate and run it threw the press the picture comes out exactly how it looked when you drew it on the paper, except cooler ^_^ Did that make sense...

My second class was Inkle weaving. I know, you’re all probably thinking, In-ka-what? Ikle weaving is just a fancy way of saying you run yarn or thread through a loom and make a belt. Oh goodness, Inkle weaving is so much fun! It’s super relaxing too, your hand start moving mechanically and you don’t even have to think about what you’re doing, oh so nice!

My third class was drawing. That’s not to hard to explain we just drew a still life.

And lastly, I took Photography. It was a fun class, but I don’t think photos like me very well, I just couldn’t get anything to work right ^_^;;

On Thursday, everyone in camp (including the teachers) goes to a park called Jones Gap.
It’s so nice, and the scenery is gorgeous! It’s located in a valley. We go there every year, and it’s become a tradition. We have supper, then spend a little over an hour drawing something. I drew a big rock ^_^ After that we go inside a nearby cabin and listen as our teachers play Bluegrass. It’s so much fun!!!

So that’s what I did Monday-Thursday. On Friday everyone hangs their artwork they did on the walls in the art building hallway, and they have a huge exhibition! For every class they give a first, second and third place ribbon. In Aquatint I got second place (Lindsey got first so I was happy ^_^) I got first in Inkle weaving. In drawing class I got second (which I thought was pretty good considering almost everyone at camp took the class!)In photography...I didn’t place, I told you it didn’t like me ^_^;; And they also gave ribbons for the Jones Gap drawings, and guess what I got second place out of about 40 other drawings! I was very pleased ^_^

Hey everyone! Well, I'll have to say goodbye for a little while. Tomorrow I'm going to take my fourth Psychology test and then my mom and I are going to pick my brother up at the airport (YAY!!! ^_^) Then on Sunday I'm leaving for a week of art camp. A local Universtity has it every year. It's always a ton of fun! We stay in the dorms during the week, so sadly, no MyO. Well, I better go and start studying for my test! I hope you guys have a great week, and I'll miss you all so much! *gives everyone a huge goodbye hug*
