Death Note
Well tomorrow's Tuesday which means we go back to school...*sighs* such a shame...anywho, I went to Borders today and while listening to one of the Otaku podcasts (love those things) I heard them make a comment on Death Note. Now I'd read the preview in Shonen Jump when I still got the subscription and I never took to it. Well I decided to give it another shot since I had nothing better to do and I have but one thing to say. Awesome! I'm mad at myself for not seeing how cool and how much potential this manga had! I'm really kicking myself in the teeth for it and now I want to pick it up and catch up with the rest of the series. So here comes my big question...does anyone know where I can download the anime or the manga for free? Or maybe even read some scanilations if it comes down to it. I'd prefer not to use Youtube even though I love the site to death, you just don't get the same quality as having it blown up on your compy screen you know? Thanks for not killing me over never giving Death Note a chance!



And as a quick afterthought, my PMs don't seem to be working because it's telling me that I have one but everytime I click on the Private Messaging link or something of that nature nothing comes up! It's absolutely frustrating. Any help or explenation would be greatly appreciated!

PARTY! WHOOT!
Rejoice people for today is a glorious day! Yes it is FRIDAY! I am getting ready to go to an awesome DDR party and I can hardly take it, I'm so excited! I'm bringing my PS2 along with Soul Calibur 2, great game even though it's old (plus no one but my uncle can beat me at it XD). I'm taking some DDR clothes with me (my red and black shorts and my black shirt with OTAKU printed in red down the front, LOVE that shirt) and I can't wait to see everyone's skill. I do have homework but I am shirking it like the lazy bum I am. Born as a procrastinator. Failing as a procrastinator. I may get a pic up of me at some point, it's always fun to see what online buds really look like, eh? Er, I had something I wanted to say but it completely slipped my mind, ah the plague of the young adult. Don't you just hate it when that happens? Have an awesome weekend and remember...SCREW HOMEWORK! XD

Todays rant
Okay, today has had some wierd effects on me, I won't lie. All day my arm has been like, pulsating. You know how when you go to the doctor you get your blood pressure taken and the pump squeezes your arm so tight that you can feel your blood struggling to get through to your forearm and hand? That's pretty much how I've felt ALL DAY. It's so wierd, it like pulsates, causing my hand to twitch or my arm to jerk in some odd way. I've been diagnosed with having Anxiety Attacks, not a disease I know but the doctor made it sound like it was something. And I've anemia as well (not proven at the doctors but I experiance all the symptoms) so I've been freezing all day and fading in and out at times. Maybe...my arm is gaining a mind of its own and it's going to slowly turn on me! O.O I must do something to restrain it! Or...maybe it'll be better by morning?

I've posted a Yaoi story on FictionPress for anyone who's interested, it's called In the Midst of it All. Beware, I think someone else MAY have that title already, if that's so then my name is Ryu Kenji, so that I can post stuff like that in "private". Moving on, my chocobo's doing well, it's growing quite a bit now, though I still have no name for the poor thing. I'm going to a "private" DDR tournament over my friend's house on Friday. I'm so excited! I know I won't score very high because I'm only between light and Standard mode and my friends are all heavy or standard/heavy mode materal. But I'll try my best! Wish me luck! I'm thinking about writing another poem on the spot, but maybe I'll take some time and think about it *shrugs*. One more announcement, I have a science fair project due...TOMORROW! And I haven't even started it yet! Can't wait to fail! Until I'm punished even more!

I'm not emo or depressed!
I write poetry sometimes to exercise my mind and my rhyme scale and find some fun words that I know but don't always remember. This is mine! Completely made up and written in a few minutes.

Thoughts rushing past like a frozen stream,
Lights flashing by leaving shadows behind,
The soft snow falls, silencing my scream,
I call your name, getting lost with no find.

As time slowly speeds past,
I'm picked apart again piece by piece,
Enough already the die is cast,
Upon its finish all hope shall cease.

Call my name, scream back to me,
Lets fight this war of chance,
Blind and slow yet fully able to see,
Caught up in this fevered dance.

Through the ever living dark light, fighting to die,
The clearly muddled future of what's come to past,
Hold my hand tight, let go of your voice and fly,
And time shall stop for only us, under destiny, our fates held fast.

My chocobo's eyes change color when it runs! Is it evil?
I've noticed that my baby chocobo's eyes change color when it runs around my room, is it turning evil? They become a dull red color as it focuses straight ahead. It also recognizes other chocobos when I'm playing FFXII (awesome game by the way!), it gets excited and runs up to the screen and chirps really fast. I guess it recognizes its own kind, it's really smart! I mean, I feed it my homework every day and it eats it all!
