My new baby Chocobo!
Today, January 1st, 2007, as I groggily chugged down a bottle of apple cider I imagined what it would be like, to become a Chocobo rider. Oh how great it would be! Especially since I had to give my dog away and I wanted something else to cuddle and love and call my own. Well, while walking through the crisp morning air, trying to clear my pounding head of all the excitement 07 brought, I heard a small cheep. It was barely loud enough to be detected but I picked up on it and followed the lonely noise to a clump of bushes. And there lay a small yellow chick, I knew right away that it was a Chocobo from its large, intelligent brown eyes. With great care I lifted it from its egg and cradled it in my arms, wondering what to call it. As I pondered how I was going to take care of the chick a whole onslaught of questions hit me. What did Chocobos eat? How was I going to feed it? Where could I keep it? Do they get sick? What would I tell my parents? For now I'm hiding my baby chocobo in my room on the second floor of my house, I'm wrapping it in blankets and feeding it bits of fruit, it has quite an appetite! I need any advice on Chocobos that anyone has because there aren't any moogles seen often in my area. My own Chocobo!

ONE. MORE. DAY!!! And a quick visit...
It's finally Christmas eve!!! I'm over my grandparent's house today and I've seen a couple of family members that I haven't seen in quite a few days. Yes, let us all hold our breath in anticipation of the day to follow, even though global warming has made today abnormally warm... Can you believe it? In a few more hours you'll wake up to gifts and the feel of the holiday will be in the air! Until tomorrow! *takes a deep breath and holds it* JA~!!!

2 MORE DAYS!!! And a house full of people...
WOW, can you believe it? Tomorrow's Christmas eve! HURRAH! Today my stepdad's parries and his younger cousin (she's a year older then me) arrived at 9:30 this morning. That means that me, my mom, my stepdad, my grandma-in-law, my grandpa-in-law, and my cousin-in-law, are all sleeping under one roof. It's to the point where I was kicked out of my own room! *tear* But I don't mind, I understand why, plus I have another room (yes I have two rooms, don't look at me like a spoiled rich kid, the second room is the laundry room with my old bed and compy in it)so it all works out okay. I'm tiered but I HAD to keep up my streak of counting down the days, I don't know what I'm going to do about posting tomorrow but I'll figure something out! It's so close I can almost taste it! ...or is that that fried chicken I just had...hm... Until tomorrow!

3 DAYS!!! And a school full of cosplayers...
At only 3 more days left until Christmas today was FINALLY my last day at school! I go to a new school that's...different from all other schools in my area. Yes instead of a gangster-beat-the-crap-out-of-anyone-who-looks-at-me-funny school mine is full of eccentric kids. Our dominant clicks are Emo kids and Gays, then there are the Otaku (They're EVERYWHERE), the people that act like Otakus (random, crazy, etc) but don't watch anime, the wanna-be gangsters, and the very small group of "normal" people...whatever normal is. So today I counted SIX santa hats, TWO elf hats, a person dressed as RUDOLPH (with the nose and everything), and the clincher, a kid dressed up as Old Saint Nick himself. For those who didn't dress up they wore red and green and bells and I saw one kid with a necklace of flashing christmas lights and matching earrings. What a day it was!

4 DAYS!!! And the end of a long and grueling punishment...
There are only four more days left, can you believe it!? I still have school tomorrow, sadly, but it is a 2 hour early dismissal. Tomorrow I also get off of punishment, YAY!!! Yes I am on heavy-duty-OMG-how-can-you-survive punishment because I got a 67%, a D, on my interum grade in Algebra 2. I know you're thinking, "How do you fail math?" Easy, you're a bad test taker and they count as 70% of your overall grade. I couldn't talk on the phone to my best friend that goes to a different school than me, play video games (my reflexes are suffering greatly), watch TV, or stay on the net for more than an hour *cough*. Though I've broken just about all of those rules, it still sucks when my mom comes home because all I can do is read. I absolutely love reading don't get me wrong, and I've piles of Mangas to indulge myself but sometimes you just want to do something a bit...different you know? Well buckle down 'cuz Santa's coming soon!!! *And by Santa I mean presents -^.^-*

5 DAYS! And a container of burnt gingerbread cookies...
Yes there are 5, count 'em, 5 days left until Christmas! Even though there is no snow here on the east coast and the biting chill has only just set in, the time for merry-making and fun with gifts has arrived!!! Today was my table's annual gift exchange there was brownies, cookies, chicken, chips, candy and loads of gifts and cards! I made a batch of gingerbread cookies last night, but they were in the oven a bit too long and became increadably hard. I took them to school with a delicious batch of chocolate chip cookies. Needless to say, everyone avoided the gingerbread so we came up with a better plan for them then eating them. When the moochers flocked to our table and begged for food we gave them rock-hard cookies! Their expressions were priceless as they banged them against the side of the table and when they came back for more they were sent running away with broken gingerbread pieces.

"Oh what fun it is to chuck,
hard cookies at moochers, HEY!"

6 DAYS!!!
Yes everyone there are SIX more days until Christmas!!! *throws confettie at random bystanders* -^.^- For today I was given, a HUGE book report due two days from now, a spanish pamphlet due tomarrow, a test in Government, a study sheet with 25 questions on it that's due two days from now, and a whole page of Algebra 2 work. So much Christmas cheer my teachers seem to have!!! Tomarrow is my lunch table's (all of my friends get together) annual gift exchange! We bring in cookies and soda and brownies and chicken and we exchange gifts! It's a load of fun except when the moochers come sniffing out free goods, but they're always sent on their own way with empty hands and a "Merry Christmas Moocher!"
