IT HURTS!!!
for those of you who know me, you'll also know that I have practically NO upper body strength. well, today in ATA lessons we did a new kind of push up. WARNING! THE FOLLOWING IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SHARE IN MY PAIN, LAUGH AT MY WEAKNESS OR JUST BE HAPPY THAT THEY DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!!! (the second and third include just about everyone don't they?) okay, find a solid chair that will support your weight and not tip. turn so that your back is to it and place your palms on the front corners of the chair, your shoulders and the heels of your palms should be in line. next, stick your feet straight out in front of you, toes to the sky and balancing on the backs of your heels. now the hard part, lower yourself down until butt touches the floor, except don't put any weight on it, and go back up. repeat 34 times and maybe you'll feel how i felt. it really bites cuz after it was time to switch excercises the instructor said we only had to do them until we got tired. and yet, despite myself i've decided to do at least 50 of these every day to get stronger. sometimes i hate having a black belt attitude and out look on things. oh well, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
