I'm Back!

Damn, I need to update more consistently. How long has it been, half a year? Besides that, I am here! There's a bunch of artwork that I've yet to post up, and it should be here soon. Anyone who's requested something - it's been done for about three month's now. The bad thing is that my scanner currently does not work, and I'm devastated. I want to know how everyone else is doing. Anything interesting happened lately? Poem of the Day At Noon Each day at noon, I walk outside - book in hand. I glance out at the lagoon, And think of all it has to withstand. The wind blows in its disband, Sweeping against the land unmanned. It moans and whispers and croons, Flowing towards me, a melody mistuned. The water is tranquil and grand, Gentle ripples here and there are strewn. Any disturbance is suddenly banned, Even though we know it to be disrupted soon. Swells and curves are once more bestrewn, Scattered and ever changing, constantly made to expand, It gathers and forms in a miniature monsoon. As if each change and movement is planned, The ripples grow fainter and fade into the end of forenoon.

The Pain!

I was in my martial arts class yesterday, and I ended up spraining my ankle...badly. What's funny is that it's not even from doing martial arts. I was setting up mats, and I tripped carrying them out. My foot immediately turned purple and started swelling. I can't even walk normally right now. My first notable injury in class, and it wasn't even from doing taekwondo. Besides, I have new art up. A few pieces but nothing major. And a note to Blooming: I'm working on your request as we speak, but I'm having difficulties staying focused. Poll? Requests?

Hello, how are we all doing today? (Lame intro..) There's not much going on here, so this is probably going to be pretty short. Well, I am going to this neat little off-beat town called Cassadaga. It should be interesting - being called "The Psychic Capital of the World" and all. Supposedly, the town's residences are nothing but psychics. It'll be a neat little day trip, don't you think? You all did hear about the Art of Otaku competition, right? If not, I suggest you check it out and give it a shot. I mean, it really does sound like fun. It's based on creativity, not artistic talented also. Speaking of that, I plan on entering, but I can't decide which of these to use. Care to help? 1. Giesha doing Fan Dance, with the Art of Otaku logo on the fans 2. Art of Otaku no Jutsu! (Short comic) 3. Haruko on her Vespa about to swing her guitar with the logo on it 4. I'm having a brain fart right now, so...yeah! Also, I'll have the NaruSaku piece colored and up sometime today along with a request from Blooming.    Good Morning

How are you all doing today? I'm doing fine - great in fact. I just woke up this morning and felt unusually happy. Yes, I know I sound insane, but that's too bad. ^^ Besides that, I have even more art up. For the past few days, I've been on a drawing rampage. And I even went and raided my sketchbook. o.o Yeah...I'll have a colored version of Temari up soon. I'm working on it right as we speak.    See, I am Alive!

It's about time that I updated, neh? As orochisnake stated when I talked to them earlier today, I was basically dead on theOtaku. Until the other day - my portfolio has nearly doubled, and I've finally made it to Senior Otaku. There are more benefits than just the title. The approval process is not needed for me anymore. The second I submit something, it's put up. No more 24 hour waits. Cool? I also changed the theme, seeing that I was getting a headache from my sister's constant screeching of how "his" eyes scared her. What's funny is that she's completely obsessed with Kabuto. XD Also, Happy Belated Fourth of July...I went to Miami and Keywest for mine. Pretty nice actually, considering we only live a few hours away. You know all those postcards you see of Florida's clear, blue water? It's not like that most of the time. Maybe a few days during the summer in certain areas, but no. So how's your summer going so far? Enjoying it? I hope it's working out well for you all. ^^ Well, I'll see you around. And remember, if you need anything, I'm here most of the time.

   Back From the Dead

Hello? Well, I'm back from the "dead". It probably looks like I dropped off the face of the world. Sorry I haven't updated in a while though. I've been deprived of an internet connection for the past two weeks. With only the occasional chance. I'm online in a hotel roon right now. O.O At least I still have Photoshop on the laptop and my new tablet! I'm very content right now as I've been wanting one for the past three years. I have another picture of Sakura up and a wallpaper using that old Anko fanart. I think I'm on a Sakura kick or something. I thought she was kind of whiny in the beginning, and she was. But timeskip!Sakura is just wow. Major character development has come into play. ^^ You want to know what's weird? As much as an Orochimaru fan as I am, I haven't drawn him yet. -_- Well, I've drawn but haven't posted here. Besides, theOtaku seems to be lacking in a good number of Sound fanart. *pouts* So I shall try to put some up within the next few days because of that. How is everybody doing right now? What kinds of plans for the summer do you have? I really don't have any, but I am going to Universal Studios next week with a few friends. It is so nice to live in Florida. I gotta go now since I have some major catching up to do on checking out everybodys' sites, but I'll be sure to see your around.

   Just Another Day

Hello again, there's not much happening today. But I figured I should drop by say hello. (I'm trying to update everyday; it feels better if I'm constant.) I hate school since I'm going to be in it until June. I take classes online, and they just had to wait until June to start history. It cuts into my summer vacation, but oh well. I also changed my avatar again. The other one reminded me way too much of a flashing neon sign. So I took about half an hour, opened up ImageReady, and made the little thing you see here. I got the idea from two dancing Naruto chibis I've seen. One was of Itachi and the other was of Sasuke. Coincidently, Kira93 has one of the Sasuke. And now there's an Oro one. ^^ Poem of the Day Too Much to be Nothing In just this thought, the pain is too great That one moment of the mind-numbing memories I murmur and mumble at that unbelievable emptiness Just that one excruciating second, and I’ve lost all track of time It hurts so much, becoming more unbearable with each passing instant Everything flashes before me of what happened before Nagging at me as I realize that I don’t want to accept the fact Something that terrible, and I don’t feel anything I’m supposed to be crushed; yet here I stand Emotionless, empty, and numb all at once I also have a somewhat funny story. I was watching a music video featuring the Sannins. The music was Wind, the first ending song. And my cat just happened to be sitting on the desk -actually watching the video. He started purring when the video was playing, as if he liked it or something o.O. And nobody was petting him or anything. He stopped at the end of the AMV. Odd, ne? My cat like only purrs like, maybe a few times a year. I have such weird pets. I was watching the newest Naruto episode too today when I saw clips for the next one. Flashbacks of the Sannin kids, I can't wait! (Ish such a sucker for the Sannins as genin)

   A Good Day

It's rare, but every once in a while, I have an overly good day. Almost like it's too good to be true and every thing, every little detail, goes perfectly. And today's been one of those odd, occasional days. To begin with, I woke up and did the normal morning routine - nothing special about that. Things get interesting around noon. See, my father is in the military, and he's been deployed for five months XP. He recently got hold of a four day vacation, and was able to visit us this week. He just arrived today, so I'm feeling pretty happy already. And then, we somehow end up purchasing a boat. o.O Not just any boat, but a nice one with cabin, bunk, bathroom, and kitchen. I was like WTF when I saw it. It's huge at twenty-four feet and is docked safely at our slip right now. In fact, I'm looking at it out the window at this very moment. ^^ The other thing, I now have a brand new scanner. Instead of the old cheapo one I used to have, I bought a brand new, whopping $300 scanner. Dumb shopping skills on my part but...I love it! Such a nice multifunctional little piece of machinery. So all in all, it has been a very profitable day for me. For my sisters, today was another story. They just hate it when I harrass them. *sigh* The typical sibling relationship. Oh! I bring news! (I'm really a sad person for doing this. Perhaps I'm a little too obsessed with the Sound. *cough* obviously*cough) I'm starting a fanclub here on myOtaku, a Sound Shinobi Fanclub...with an animated banner. Geez, I'm pathetic. It's below this post, because the image would mess up the size of the table. I don't know about you, but I hate horizontal scrolling. So I'll save you the trouble. Poem of the Day Calm Reflections After the frenzy, we sit here and reflect As the pace of our breath becomes calm Our thoughts gather and collect We lose sight of any possible qualm Strings of deliberation run through and connect We let our minds wander to sing their psalm We embrace and drown ourselves in its peaceful effect Soothing and relaxed, we let our psyche becalm Heh, something calm for once ^^ (I really need to stop using that. But it's so addictive.) I also got my first request. One of my friends asked for one of my horse drawings. If you know me, it won't take you long to figure out that I love horses and snakes. But I have a passion for horses, everything about them just entices me. Back to the topic; apparently, my drawings and sketches of them are quite popular wher I live. Though I haven't posted any here. Should I? Yes, I love doing requests. It's be neat if I got more, but I'm obviously not talented enough. Well, I'm off to go see everybody else's sites.    Hello?

Hello. -__- Erm...I'm quite aware that it's been well over two weeks since I last updated. Sorry about that, I suppose I just lost track of time. Or I was just wasn't in the mood to update. Whatever it was, I'm sorry. *sweatdrops* In the meantime, I was able to get a new quiz submitted and a wallpaper up. Does that make up for my obvious lack of updates? Besides that, how's everybody doing? I'm curious as to how life is going right now for everybody. Anything interesting happening lately that you don't mind sharing, like annoying end of the year test or something? Yes, I'm in a weird mood again. Poem of the Day: Desperation I’m desperate for you.    Hey

Well...yeah. I don't have much to say today, and I'm dead tired. Here's a helpful hint: do not stay up until four in the morning and wake up at six, thinking that you'll be able to function normally for the rest of the day. Not a smart move on my part, and I have to take a major test today... However, I did manage to get a picture of Kimimaro up today though. Probably one of my better CGs that took less than three hours. And the end result was 12.4 megabytes before I saved it as JPG and resized it. Not very friendly to my harddrive's memory, but that's why I have one of those computers with 1 terabyte memory (1,000 gigabytes). It's still not a good practice. And, I did mispell his name on the title. It's Kimimaro, not Kimimaru. Will anybody notice the difference? I drew this when I was watching an episode of Naruto where he was fighting Gaara, and this resulted. I also had one of Reikimaru's earlier comments in mind. It's true, he doesn't have enough fans. It's been several hours since I submitted it, so I might as well put it here just for heck.
