   I'm Surrounded by....

Email! God, I made a huge mistake joining that RPG months ago. I really have no clue what I'm doing and now I have over 2,000 unread emails. Eck, I'm scaring myself. It's like everyday I sign in to Yahoo, there are at least eighty new messages. I get twenty every hour or so. And I haven't even done anything in the game...if I want to get caught up, I'd have to devote my entire day or more to read all the messages. So nervewracking. Cromartie High, you should check it out sometime if you get the chance. Interesting anime and manga, though I do prefer the manga. Erm, story behind the poem. This was the one that I submitted to poetry.com, although the version I submitted was shorter. *damn that twenty line limit* So, this is the first time that the original poem has been seen by anybody but me. It was around Halloween when I wrote this, so that's why it's like that. I guess you could also say that this reflects on the human fear of death. Touchy subject, I know. I was going to save this one for around Halloween this year, but it's so far away......so here you go. Oh, and I did I mention my parents were seriously freaked when they read it? My mother even said that she was worried about me. Sheesh, I just like to write about deep things. Let's just say I spend a lot of my time thinking...

   WTF!?!

Alright, here I was just taking a break from schoolwork. I was checking out YouTube when I noticed something that said Orochimaru Dubbed. It was the official Viz dub that's going to premiere on TV this weekend. That Naruto mini-marathon. I should've never entered that page. *throws computer monitor against wall* Orochimaru's voice is just...gah! I'm gonna kill somebody. Not really, but you get the point. Before, his voice was low, deep, and so prominent. It's been ruined. They've destroyed a major part of his characterization. I could've regconized his voice from a mile away, but what is this? And you should just hear Itachi's voice... Tell me, how much would it take to get the original Japanese voice actor to learn English and and do the voice for Orochimaru here as well? We're that desperate... (Not really, but you get the point) Perhaps I should post his? It's by the same person who has exposed us to the truth with this one. ^^^^Dear Lord, help us all... UPDATE: Here's Itachi's voice. And I thought Orochimaru was scary. Is it just me, or does it sound like Steven Blum did both of their voices?

   Erm..

Well, it appears that I've just recieved my first flame. I was checking the new comment manager when I noticed comments from several days ago that I never knew were even on the art. They were on the pictures of the team and Haku and consisted of things like "you suck your right about you not having good drawing skills" and "you suck haku sucks." My, somebody sure does like to "suck". This apparently does not bother me that much, should it? Now really, if somebody gave me constructive criticism on where I can improve, I understand completely. But that was uncalled for. Why should I listen to somebody with bad grammar and excessive use of the word "suck"? And if you're going to flame, do it to the art and not the artist. There are people out there who are emotionally unstable enough. They should consider the fact that, as we are all human, other people have feelings as well. I simply don't understand the values of some people...

   Not Much

As the title states, there's not much happening today. I do have a batch of animated avatars that I'll get up here some time this evening. Feel free to download any of them. Orochisnake, your's is almost done, I just gotta find a good background picture and then upload it. I'll PM you the link. Also, I'll try to submit some more art. I'm not as bad as I thought I was, but I'm still obviously far from being at least half-decent. So, there's a half-way finished character sketch of Kyou that I will submit with background included. A picture of Haku. Even though he's only a minor character, he has such symbolism and is amazingly popular.    Not Much

Um, not much to say this morning, except that I'm getting dead tired of this stupid school (specifically pre-calculus)! It's driving me absolutely insane, and I don't understand half of what they're talking about. I mean really, I'm not even supposed to be in it yet. Seriously...yet amazingly, I have a high B. Also, I have new art. Two pictures, and we're just waiting for the server to update. Let's see, I made a new quiz, and it's doing pretty good on Quizilla. Find out more about it if you want in yesterday's post. Should I submit it here? Recently I have found myself dabbling in nearly everything. Wallpapers, quizzes, poetry, drawing, story writing....yeah, what can I say? I've also officially become a fan of the Sannin (Orochimaru's still my favorite, of course.) As a group, they're just quite humorous and have an interesting relationship as well. I wish there were more flashbacks of their team. Anyway, take a look at the picture. Fits their personalities perfectly. Note: The picture is not mine, it belongs to *croaky* at DeviantArt. I shall give credit where credit is due. I even added a watermark to it. Do not steal other people's artwork. It's just not right.

   Art! Believe it or Not o.O

I've finally started drawing more - I have two entire sketchbooks full. Yeah, too bad I'm really not all that good. So, there should be a steady flow of works coming, mostly doodles. Maybe I should get off of my butt, and actually bother to ink some of them and scan them into Photoshop. About the doodle of the team, it's an idea that's been swimming around in my head for a while now. You know how at the beginning there were supposed to be five rookie genin teams? Well, I'm not sure if I was correct or not, but only four teams have been introduced. So there it is, bam, Team 11 (Number correct?). The adult to the left is the one who started it all, Kurai. Pretty complex background, and I'm still getting the kinks out of it. Then the children themselves - from left to right: Kyou, Hisae, and Reki. Strange? I know; for somebody as "mature" as I'm supposed to be, I can have a pretty overactive imagination at times. And here's the team: Oh and sorry, but no poem of the day. Can't think of anything good to write about, and no good poetry that I could find right now. Inspiration help? UPDATE: I'm currently working on a quiz for theOtaku, and just submitted the first version to Quizilla to see how it did there. Can you please check it out, and tell me where any errors, typos, or mistakes are? I need to know where it can be improved so that it turns out better than the last one.    Wow....

Something really strange has just happened. Things like this usually don't happen to me, so I'm confused. A few months ago, I had submitted one of my poems to poetry.com, and I just got word that it's going to be featured in a book. I was freaked out even more when I got further invitations to a poetry awards convention in Las Vegas and Washington D.C., the Editor's Choice Award, acceptance into the International Poet's Association, having the poem voice recorded, and than a request from an international publisher to have it published in another book. I am very scared right now. See, I'm usually one of those people who when you walk by them on the street, you either don't even notice their there or are wary of the look on their face. So basically, I'm a nobody. Things like that just don't happen to people like me. Well, there's certainly nothing boring about my life right now. So, yeah..

   Bored >.<

Meh, nothing much going on right now. I'm dead bored, and haven't been out of the house in days. Gah, I think I am about to go crazy from nothing exciting happening. Well enough of that, I have just discovered one of the scariest things: The Fangirl. See, I haven't been in the anime community for too long, so you can easily imagine how freaked out I was when I saw what some people have done. They're just plain scary. Seriously, who would want to marry an anime character? There's simply no logic behind it. Sure, I can understand thinking one is kind of cute and everything, but really. It's just outrageous. And let's see some of the most common characters with fangirls (whom I'm sure you already know): Naruto: Sasuke Naruto Kakashi Itachi Gaara (Fire Apparition has a very funny comic on her site about this. Just go look in her archives) FMA: Ed Roy (Believe it or not) Envy Inuyasha: Inuyasha (of course) Sesshomaru Naraku o.O Miroku Okay, I think that rant is done. Don't we all agree that fangirls can be scary? Ed and Al from FMA. Notice the height difference? Poem of the Day: Avenger My hidden anger Is not so hidden.
