You are suffering from depression, but not
something too serious. Basically, since you
know that there is a way out of this, your
depression is just short-term. However, if
someone around you seems rather moody, just
keep some things in mind...
Real depression usually occurs when other family
members have suffered from depression. It's
basically passed down from relative to child,
so it's just like another disease; believe me,
this disease can be very fatal. When one
suffers from depression, he or she (let's
pretend this is a she) is usually drawn away
from her surroundings. She won't be interested
in many things anymore, and will withdraw
herself from activities that another person may
consider fun; she'll begin to let herself be in
solitude very often, afraid of peoples motives
for anything a person says can hurt severely.
She'll forget about important things, such as
job/school assignments, appointments, and
anything related, and when she is reminded of
those tasks, she just won't try to fullfill
them. She who is depressed will literally feel
as if she is trapped inside a black hole, but
she will be deathly afraid of death, for 85% of
those who are depressed don't wish to die. In a
word, she just plain won't know what to do.
Yet, there is an answer to that... professional
help. If you feel you may be clinically or
manically depressed, you must consult a
psychiatrist right away, for such a thing will
literally save your life. Just try and remember
an experience where you were trapped, and help
was the only way out; depression is the exact
same thing. THEY'RE NOT ALONE IN THIS.
