Story 20
She looked up at them. They were all smiling. She recognized 4 faces. Wildfire; her sister, Natsume; her sisters friend, Luna; Her mother, and Balto; their father. They all waved and then they all disappeared except for Wildfire and Natsume. “ Happy birthday” said Natsume. “ Good-bye” I said. Then we ran back to paradise racing each other. “ Today was the best birthday ever” Midnight said to herself. Then she heard the music of the leaves again. This time it was Unari. “I don’t know what happened” she said after Midnight told her how she ended up in the forest. Midnight looked at her paw. It was bleeding with purple coming out! The wolf had poison in its fangs! That’s what made Unari go crazy. Luckily there wasn’t any in its claws. Then Midnight and Unari heard one of the wolves get up. The turned their heads. Dager got up and walked towards them. “How are the three pups?” he asked. “Make that two” said Unari. Dager opened his mouth ready to say he was sorry. Unari could read his lips and told him it was ok.” Besides I have all I need right here” she said pointing to the pack.
