   i had a good week ^^
i cant keep promises about otaku cuz i dont hav the time anymore. i get hw every night, so bear with me please.

on tuesday, we got a new foreign exchange student. his name is Wat, and hes from Thailand. hes really cool. hes in my art class, rides my bus, everyone likes him, and he likes Linkin Park! (hee hee..just felt like adding that in there....)
this week sorta stands out from the others, which to me, are all the same and strung together in one long, monotonous....uh...string....

anyway, today we had a pep assembly during 6th hour, which was cool cuz it got me out of geometry and i dont hav any hw from that class this weekend. that was basically the only good thing from it, though. it really sucked, cuz the grades hav to recite their battle cry (one at a time, of course). ours is: V-I-C-T-O-R-Y, thats our Freshman battle cry! (its actually the same for all the grades, 'cept for the freshman part). the worst thing was, the cheerleaders always start with the freshman first, and the first time, noone really caught on so it was just the cheerleaders chanting. the thing is, despite the fact that no freshman were cheering, all the sophomores were boo-ing, and the were louder than the cheerleaders! -_-; about half the freshman were chanting the battle cry the last time around, but we were still no match for the boo's of the sophomores.

moving on.... tmrrw, moms gonna take me to get a dress for homecoming. i dont hav a date, but i dont care. i havnt been to a dance since 6th grade (mainly cuz i never bothered to in 7th and 8th. the admission line was always waaay too long) i wont be alone though. ill be going with darkgoddess13, and im pretty sure its gonna be fun (knowing darkgoddess, it will be).
im gonna draw up a storm this weekend.....i can feel it in my veins...... i hav these two really really cool ideas for Linkin Park, and i already started a Kyo (from Fruits Basket...got vol 2 last Sat!) collage, which i WILL finish by Mon. unfortunatly, its in my big sketchpad, which is too big for my scanner... WR facts a little later, k?

   hello all!!!
i did it again, damn it!!! i havnt posted in a week! well, technically, its ALMOST a week. two more days will make it a week. ne way, thats not important (or is it...? lol). today was a half day!! ^^ school let out at 10:51am and we only had to go to our first three hours, which, lucky for me, my first 3 happen to be the ones that hardly ever give out homework! ^^ so i dont hav any! which is why im here! moving on.... yesterday was my first day of dance class for the year. this year im taking two classes: jazz (as always) and ballet. theyre back to back, so its a lot of work, and i still ache from it (i cant even walk right cuz my legs are sore o0). one last thing and then some WR facts (2 today! ^^).

   srry again!... ^^;;;;;;;
anyway, my first day went relatively well. it was painfully boring, as most first days are. u just spend every hour listening to the teacher talk about the class, wat its about, wat we're going to do, etc, etc. picture day was wednesday, only 3 days into the new year (scary, isnt it?)! so far, i like high school SSSOOOOO much better than middle school. lunch has vastly improved, and by that i mean we can leave the lunchroom ANYTIME and just hangout with friends. to put it simply: its a social hour, LITERALLY!!! i hav art right after lunch, which turns out to be a pretty good thing, cuz, well, i guess i cant really explain it. ud actually hav to see the art room.
moving on to this week, i can say that i successfully made it through my first two weeks of high school...even if they were both only 4 days long due to Labor Day weekend. now i can officially say that Mr. Depa's Intro Chemistry class can easily put ANYONE to sleep. its not so much the class, but the teacher. his voice is bland and boring. i hav it 2nd hour, so im still half asleep from waking up at 5:30 (even though i actually only hav to wake up at 6....my alarm is a half hour fast..) other than that, i like all my other teachers.
High School Rat Maze Fun Fact: the Technology classroom actually includes a half of a wing of the building. it consists of several adjoining rooms all jumbled together. luckily, there are lots of windows, so u can see which room youre in, and more importantly, how to get out! lol ^^
in case u werent informed already, NEONSTAR92 HAS RETURNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^________________________________^ shes my bestest friend ever! and she has returned to otaku, sporting a new layout, more posts, and hopefully soon, some art! ^^ if u were her friend way back wen she was a member the first time, then u can add her again if u like ^^

onto the facts! how about 4 today, to make up for the 2 weeks ive been gone?
Wolf's Rain Fact: Kiba's True Form- Kiba is covered in pure white fur. Wolves and dogs are similar, but Kiba's long front legs, thick neck and powerful chest prove he's a wolf. His sharp-looking golden eyes are just like those of a real-world wolf.

Wolf's Rain Fact 2: Tsume's True Form- He has basically the same body shape as Kiba but is slightly larger. Most of his fur is dark gray, but he has a light path that starts around his muzzle and continues down his front. He has a big scar on his chest, just like his human form.

Wolf's Rain Fact 3: Hige's True Form- In wolf form, he looks like the chunkiest of the pack, but Kawamoto says that's just because he has the fluffiest coat. In fact, he's the tallest in human form.

Wolf's Rain Fact 4: Toboe's True Form- toboe is slim compared to Kiba and Tsume. His eyes are large, and he loos intelligent. The brachelet on his right front leg is worn loose.

   OMG!!!!!!!!!!! *starts freaking out*
omg!!! i dont mean to just freak out all of a sudden, but realization just hit me....and im not ready. my first day of HIGH SCHOOL is TMRRW and im totally not ready for it. i just realized that tmrrw isnt very far away and it hit me like a ton of bricks. i may look fine and dandy, but inside, my mind is totally freakin' out! my heart is goin about 100 mph and im soooo not ready to do this......

ne way, moving on (lol, i sure got over that quickly, didnt i?)... it worked!!! i successfully recorded Wolf's Rain!!! im sooo glad i decided to do that! last nights ep was too good (and vital to understanding the story) to miss. though i did hav to tape over old (but good) DBZ eps, i stand by the fact that it was totally worth it. ne way, on with the facts!!!! ^^

Wolf's Rain Fact: How old are they?- We only defiined their ages for convenience during the production. Kiba and Tsume are bout 17, Hige is a year older, and Toboe is a lot younger. But because they're wolves, they mmight be only a few months apart in age [because of dog years]. Wolf's Rain Fact: Animating Cheza was tough- Cheza's movements were rather difficult. She weighs less than she appears, but if we made her look too light, it'd be hard to bring ou the drama. Getting just the right sense of mass was vey tricky. She's also supposed to be blind, but her heightened senses give her enough of an awareness of her surroundings that she doesn't move like a blind person.    omg......the party.....was.....AWESOME!!!!
it was sooooo much fun!!! there was Andy, Alex, Brian, darkgoddess13, Jordan, Tyler, and me all at Jackie's house and we had a blast ^^ there was swimming, but Jackie forgot to mention it wen she called me, so i didnt bring my swimsuit....but neither did Tyler or Jordan, so i just hung out with them while we watched everyone else mess around in the pool. it was still fun, cuz Jordan pushed darkgoddess13 in and she got really pissed at him! and we had some funny conversations about things like Family Guy, The Simpsons and Invader Zim. after that, we cooked hotdogs over a fire, and there were smores too ^^ we got bored after a while, so out of nowhere, we all started singing Christmas carols!!! lol! Jackie brought out her cd player, so it didnt last long. it was kinda dark wen we decided to play truth or dare, but that was probably the shortest game ever! we dared Jackie (who went FIRST) to jump in the pool with all her clothes on, and before we knew it, everyone else had jumped in with her voluntarily! including me! and it was the stupidest, coolest thing i hav ever done!!! lol! it was awesome! we jumped in around 8pm and got out around 10pm, then the guys had to go home. after we were all changed into our pajamas and our clothes were in the dryer, we went out to the trailor and danced to Spice Girls, lol! that was followed by a game of Disney Charades and Loaded Questions. we FINALLY went to bed around 2:30am and woke up around 10am. then we had pancakes and got dressed. thats wen parents started showing up. the party was over, but it was waaay cool! its about 9pm right now, so ill try to catch up on all ur sites tmrrw, as well as fill u all in on how my first day went.

ill put two WR facts here, and im gonna post a little later with two more.
Wolf's Rain Fact: The most time-consuming character- it took more time to design Tsume than any of the other characters. In the end we decided to make him look like trouble and put him in biker's leather clothes. People have been noticing that we keep increasing the amount of skin he flashes...hehe. His knife is really his teeth and claws, so we don't bother pretending that he unsheathes it from anywhere. Wolf's Rain Fact: His collaw has meaning- I can't tell you the meaning of the "X" symbol yet, ut Hige's collar has a specific meaning which will become important later in the show. By the way, the language used in the show is Russian, and we do have a consultant(Irina Bryan). Why did we choose Russian? OMGOSH!!! OMGOSH!!! OMGOOOOSSHH!!! IM SOOO SRRY!!! >
IM SRRY!!! i havnt been on for 2 weeks! but im here now! that counts for something, right? ^^; ne way, heres how the last two weeks hav been:

Monday- Cedar Point was lots of fun!! ^^ we got there at 1:30, and left at 8. i finally got home at 11:30. i was really beat, so i slept in the next morning ^^ the weather was nice there, too! it was really comfortable, not too hot, but not too cool either.

Tuesday- mom, dad and i went to The Somerset Collection. its possibly the coolest, most expensive mall ive ever been to! we go at least once a year, just cuz its a cool place to be. all of the stores are really expensive...the cheapest place would probably be the Starbucks next to the Skywalk. my fav stores to check out are Fossil, Discovery Store, and The Sharper Image ^^ i got lucky that day..i got TWO things!!!!! a shirt from Fossil that says "What the duck?" (its got a duckie on it! XP) and a really cool, but expensive belt from Amani Exchange. id love to go on describing the mall, but im trying to make this as short as possible...

Wednesday- high school. orientation. exhausting. got lost about 5 billion times. i did get to see some of my friends, though! ^^ i spent lots of time with darkgoddess13, and i saw Jackie, Princess Garnet, Jordan, Tyler, DJ (though i was really hoping i wouldnt run into him...-_-), Alex, Nikki (former neonstar92), Andy, Sam...and im pretty sure thats it... after the parents only meeting was over, most ppl went home, but i stayed a little longer, trying to find room 415...which it just so happens that u hav to go through a storage room to get there. wat a rat maze my school is -_-;. we dropped Jordan and Tyler off at Tyler's house before heading home. about an hour later, mom and i headed back out to go school clothes shopping! ^^ much fun, but exhausting. 3 days on my feet really took it outta me.

Thursday- uneventful, good rest for my feet though!

Friday- i think i spent the night at Princess Garnet's....cant remember...

Saturday- dont know. my whole weekend was pretty uneventful, so i cant remember ne thing that happened...naturally...

skipping Sunday....

Monday- Princess Garnet came over for a while. she helped me go through my new clothes i got on Wed and pick out a first day outfit. we went out for dinner, cuz it was my grandparents' last day here. also the one week marker for the back-to-school countdown.

Tuesday- got up around 6am to say goodbye to Grandma, Grandpa, and KC, their adorable little pomeranian. cant remember wat happen during the rest of the day...

Wednesday- went out to the hospital so mom can get her blood drawn, then went to visit the nice ladies in the office where mom works (she volunteers at the hospital during the school year. she works with them in the office area).

Thursday- went out again. on the way home, we stopped at B&N where i got Naruto vol 4 (finally!) and .hack vol 1...then we walked over to Buddy's for some pizza lunch and headed straight home.

Friday- Princess Garnet came over ^^ it was fun! then mom took us over to the high school so we could revisit our classes and make sure we knew where they were. lucky for me, cuz i had no idea where my 6th hr was....we didnt get that far last Wednesday... before we left, we cut through the cafeteria to the middle school to see if any of our old teachers were there. Mrs. Young (7th gr science) was there, so was Mr. Westerhoff (assis. princ.). we also met two of the new teachers who were starting this year. (like, 8 ppl retired last year!) the new art teacher was really nice, so was the other one, but im not sure wat shes teaching.

Today!!!- lets see...nothing worth mentioning from this morning, but im going to an end-of-summer party at Jackie's. its an all nighter, so im gonna miss Toonami and Adult Swim, but i hav the VCR set to record WR ^^ unfortunatly, itll be taping over some DBZ eps i taped in fifth grade, cuz my dance class overlapped it and it ended by the time i got home. but o well...its only one episode of WR...

ill try to get online tmrrw and post the WR facts, cuz the party starts in an hour... srry i dont hav time to catch up with everyone's sites today!! but i promise ill try tmrrw ^^

   im baaaaack!!!!!! mwahaha!!! lol ^^
ok, so i havnt been here for a while, and for that, im sorry. but i had fun ^^ i hung out with Emily for a while, but i was with Princess Garnet most of the time. i spent the night at her house on Fri, then on Sat, my mom and dad took us to the movies to see.... AVP!!! that movie is soooooo awesome!! Alien vs. Predator has to be THE coolest movie ive seen all year! and the free movie posters are really cool-lookin too! im thinking about maybe drawing it, but i wanna finish a Bleach project that im working on. im not gonna say anything about wats IN the movie, cuz i dont want to spoil it for anyone. i went over to Princess Garnet's house again today, but wen i got back, it turns out Nikki (former neonstar92) came by asking if i wanted to come to Cedar Point with her TOMORROW! talk about short notice...but im going neway ^^ its kinda bummer with my schedule, though, cuz i dont hav any classes with Nikki in the 1rst semester and she hasnt gotten back to me about her 2nd semester classes or homeroom. stupid msn messenger wont let her log in for some reason, and she hasnt called, but ill see her tmrrw ^^ not much else to say, except i drew more fanart, but the skecthbook i used is too big for my scanner -_-; o well, where there's a will, there's a way, so i figure something out to solve this problem....in the mean time, ill just give u guys today's WR fact before i bore u to death ^^;

Wolf's Rain Fact: Motion- The staff studied wolf movements using National Geographic videos and Animal Planet shows on TV. The animation production is also thoroughly checked by Kawamoto, who owns a dog himself. Many of the key animations were done by animal-animtaion expert Masahiro Koyama, who was responsible for the bery impressive seagulls in Patlabor. (source: Newtype USA)

2nd Wolf's Rain Fact: Kiba is uncomplicated- I asked character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto for an uncomplicated kid in blue jeans and sneaders.    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! ok, heres wat i got:
these are my first semester classes:
1rst period- Global Issues
2nd period- Intro Chemistry
3rd period- Survey of Lit. & Comp. 9
4th period- Art 1 (yay^^)
5th period- Intro to Technology
6th period- Geometry
Homeroom

ok, the homeroom thing is kinda confusing, cuz im not sure if its supposed to be like a 7th period or wat, but orientation is next week so ill figure it out then. i just talked to Darkgoddess13, and we hav 3 classes together! Global Issues, Intro Chemistry, and Homeroom. i saw Brian and Andy at KMart wen i was getting a present for mom, but it was only enough time to say hi. turns out we didnt hav time to get a jewelry gift, so we got her a cd instead. its Life For Rent by Dido. dad had already gotten her a cute little ladybug keychain watch ^^ so the cd is from me. 00 i just remembered that i hav to wrap it! bye!!! ^^;

   YES YES YESSSSSS!!!!!!! HAHA!!!
MY SCHEDULE CAME TODAY!!!!!! FINALLY!!! i hav to make this a quick post, cuz Princess Garnet and i are gonna hang out and go roller blading n stuff ^^ i got all the classes i signed up for, too ^^ we could only really choose our math class and our electives, so its not much of an acheivement. so far, i only know that i hav Art with my friend Tyler in the second semester, and PE with Princess Garnet in the second semester. and im going back and forth our rather large school all day! i dont think that 3rd and 4th period could be farther apart!! ill post my schedule later. heres ur fact for today^^
