   just a quickie...
okay, so i had lots of fun at Maddy's today, except after i got home she called me saying i left stuff at her house...AGAIN...-_-; well anyway, i started drawing another pic of the main cast of From Here To Infinity (which Nessa agreed to pick back up with me! yay! i really like the story idea and the charas are loveable) at her place, but has yet to be finished. theyre just so addicting to draw... before that, i had a two hour llama adventure. talk about over a river and through the woods... and then some. never dreamed i'd end up chasing llamas... i'll share that story on Wed, if i get online.

hhmm... time to bother Nessa....
ok, well i spent the whole day yesterday with Jenny, and she let me borrow her Orange Range cd!! also, we got some exercise riding our bikes over to McDonald's (i didnt eat anything there, i've been on a strict no-fast food diet since i saw the "Supersize Me" movie in health class) and we drew for a bit. i drew this really cool pic of the main cast of From Here To Infinity, the manga that Nessa and i were gonna make, but we never got off the ground. i really like the charas and im gonna bother her and see if she's interested in starting it up again. i might post the pic i drew a little later, since im busy all day for the next 3 days.

p.s. im hoping to make shorter posts than the ones i used to make during school.

*stares with blank zombie expression* ...fooood....
yeah, well i havent eaten yet... today was boring. i slept in until 11, then the fridge guy came to see what was wrong with our freezer. i think it's fixed. i really don't know. did some research stuff on the internet, and talked to Maddy on the phone for a while. we got Jazz's ashes back today, and we're currently trying to get an urn. after this, i'll visit some sites, then eat, followed by video games. i rented Ratchet and Clank again and i'm currently trying to beat the final boss before i have to return it tomorrow.

Happy 4th!!... well.... sort of...
okay, its like, 1am and i'm exhausted. i spent the last hour scanning and submitting art. the blues are an ugly immitation turquoise, and the orange is a weird yellow. more proof that my scanner sucks and can't handle colors very well. i'm still debating on whether or not to submit this one other doodle of Kairi in the same set of notes as the yellow-orange Sasuke.

my dad has been really pushing the notion of getting another dog. he's already going to check out this breeder recommended by one of our neighbors, who has a bunch of danes (five, i think... something like that). we're going to get either a Harlequin, or a Mantle, like Jazz was. i'm really concerned, though. i feel that we may be rushing into this decision. she died just last week and dad is already looking for good breeders. mom supports him, but is pretty much in the same boat as me, i think. i dont mind the thought of it, but it pains me that it's happening so soon. i know he just wants to fill up some of the void that Jazz left in our hearts when she died, but i still need some time, which i'm afraid my dad will cut short.

ya... um... yesterday, around 2:15, my dog Jazz died. She was an 11 1/2 year old Great Dane. this is really hard for me, since our last dog was put to sleep before i could understand what was going on, and what makes this even harder is that Jazz and i grew up together. every day from when i first started elementary school until my now over freshman year she would wait and bark by the door whenever the bus went by in the afternoon to welcome me home. it's all just a really weird feeling, especially since this is my first real experience with death... um.... well, i'll probably catch up on posting art this weekend. i'm not entirely sure. i've given myself a lot to do in an attempt to distract myself so i dont think. i cant think or i'll start crying again.

   woo! summer!
ok, so i meant to update waaaay sooner, but i've been either busy or lazy. exams went ok (i was able to finish my Lit exam! yay! now i wont fail!) then i spent the night at Jenny's. a day later, i went to Maddy's sweet 16 and stepped on a sharp rock after swimming in her pond. spent the night there, and my foot got kinda painful after i got home. hobbled around the house with a crutch for a while so i could let it heal. only a few days after that, i had to go to a fancy resturant for my parent's silver anniversary (speaking of which, i still hav to make a card for my grandparents' upcoming golden anni.) and i had to wear high heels -_-;.

anyway, on wednesday, i saw Batman Begins (excellent movie! my fav part was the one part with the final test with all the ninjas! [trying hard not to spoil^^;]). the rest of the week is now being consumed by dance. yeasterday was blocking, which went pretty well. today was dress rehersal, which went relatively well... it's too late for me to try and explain why i used 'relatively well' instead of 'really well'... lloooong story for another time... (its midnight... happy saturday! ^^;). a short explaination might work though: someone with an atitude problem decided to pick the worst time to be an asshole. girls normally do the sort of thing that happened in a group. only one person fessed up to half of it. the other has yet to be known, and Jer is pissed. Alley D. doesnt deserve what they did. they have serious problems and better not be back next year. they wont be welcome, thats a gaurantee.

we got our t-shirts! theyre ty-die! and they say GLAM really big on the front with large dots forming a box around it (you know, like those huge bulbs outlining signs on broadway 'n stuff) its sooo sweet! the back is the usual cast list.

well, im revved up for tmrrw's show! hopefully, i wont fall over during ballet... or rip my costume. today was the first time i had ever done the number in character shoes! most of the others had practice, but dad said he didnt see any difference... but he wasnt dancing. i nearly fell over cause my weight wasnt balanced right on the damn shoe and my ankle gave. but i caught myself (and this was on a simple walking move, too! i know what it's called, but i cant spell it -_-;; [damn French language...]} my shoe caught on the boa pinned to the bottom of my dress... those things are a hazard, i swear... they sure look cool, though.

as for jazz, a few formation screwups near the end, but we worked with it and made it look natural (thank you improvisation!!). shouldnt happen during the performance, though.

   eep.
yeah, well i meant to update a week ago, but ive got exams. oh happy day, we're taking our finals this week. i was doing reviews all last week and it sucked. i didnt get my math review done until yesterday... and the exam was today. exams bring benefits, though. three day week, and every day is a half day.

well, i couldnt sleep last night until about 1am. it sucked so bad, i couldnt get up when i was supposed to. anyway, the geometry exams went ok, and i was able to study for my lit exam. but it totally sucks, because we werent allowed to start the actual exam (which happened to be ALL multiple choice!! could it get any better?! no. no it couldnt.) until we finished the essay. which i spent more than half the time on 'cause i cant write essays.

i just gave up and wrote my conclusion paragraph, which is actually just two sentences... and i started on the exam. easiest thing in the world, just time consuming. there were 60 something questions and the bell rang when i was at #45. my mom works on mondays, so i figured she was already gone, which meant that i couldnt stay after to finish. i got home to see my mom JUST leaving. i couldve called home and told her i was gonna finish the exam. i asked the teacher if i could come back and finish it tmrrw if i finished one of my other exams early, but she never answered my question... well, she did, but not clearly.

whew... today sucked. and its only day one! ^__^ tmrrw is gonna be boring. health and biology exams back to back. talk about a snorefest. biology is like being in a little kids class. health is just disorganized and uninteresting. enough said about those two classes.

better topics now!! ^_^ ive been drawing a lot, but i cant believe i havnt updated since Peter Pan... wow. ill have to update tmrrw, though...damn. im busy tmrrw... well, ill have some free time, i get home a couple hours before noon... lots of new stuff, though! (mostly Naruto...but i doodle Naruto fanart when im bored 'cause its easiest to draw...)

video games, art, anime, and sleep: my world in a nutshell
yes, well its true for this weekend, at least.

in art class, we're working with clay, which im bad at. it basically goes up there with paint in the "i dont like this" category, lol. i havent glazed my first project yet, but i hav turned in my second project for a grade, glazed and all. my third project, i finished the day before my fourth one was due. hardly anyone finished the projects on time anyway (except the first one, cuz we've all done it at least twice before) so it doesnt matter.

unfortunately, on top of ALL that, i still have my open project to START and its due on the 25th of May, so i rreeaally gotta get movin' (keep in mind, im STILL talking about art class, here o0;) itll be cool, though, cuz im doing all of the most popular video games on a drawing collage and pencil shading it.

yesterday, i slept in, took a shower, and played video games until my dad made me clean my room (which isnt done yet). then i watched Toonami, then Adult Swim, but i switched over to TechTV to watch Read Or Die instead of Metropolis. the story didnt pull me in. in fact, i found it boring, and im not a fan of the Astro Boy style. no real reason behind it... i just dont like it... but Samurai Champloo was awesome!! ^___^ cant wait till next week! and ill definately be watching the Inuyasha movie, cuz i know that'll keep my attention.

today, i got up at 8, for some odd reason, played Ratchet & Clank, then FFVIII, then FFIX, took a nap for about an hour and a half, then started to watch Star Wars Ep. 1 until Jenny called and i hung out at her place until 7.

wow.... its been a while.....
ya, so i know i havent updated in almost a month, but ive been really busy. with what exactly... i dont remember anymore (namely last week and anything before that) but anyway, Peter Pan was an awesome play. we all worked our hardest and poured our hearts and souls into it. it was especially hard for the seniors before the last performance.

last month, the school held a creative arts festival at the PAC (performing arts center) and it was pretty cool. i only saw the last hour, though cuz it was the same night as dance, but i made it. i really wanted to see if the illustration i made had been chosen to be shown, but supposedly there werent enough submissions to show any illustrations at all, which i thought was bull. i did pointallism! it took me three damn days! all for nothing! -_-;

well, thats the last major event that i can remember. the rest is just a blur. time goes by so fast! the year is almost over! we even hav our yearbooks! got 'em just yesterday, but it still feels like everything is just flying by. other than hw, the main reason havnt been on is because ive been really into games lately. i rented Sly Cooper a few weeks ago and am currently borrowing FFIX from Jenny's brother. havnt played that in a bit cuz i rented Ratchet & Clank just last week, which i had to renew yesterday cuz i wasnt (and still not) done with it.

before i go, ill submit some pics. im not sure how many, but i do have some cool Naruto ones that im eager to post, but i dont have my Biology folder with me, lol. i hope that ill be able to post again soon (and ill try to shorten things up. im getting on my own nerves from this. and long posts are exhausting and make my fingers cold, lol)
