Homecoming!
yeah, well this week was the infamous "Spirit Week" that i usually only participate in on Fridays, because it's orange and black day (school colors). i can do school colors. everything else is just....bleh. well, spirit week Friday is the best day of the whole year (excluding every day of the last two weeks in June) because it's the day with the best pep rally. it's the mother of all awesome pep rallies. tons of games and the cheerleaders had some new routines to show off. some traditional "battle cry" stuff and something new, that they hadnt done last year, was they had the drumline perform. it was so awesome it is beyond words. it gave me chills, it was so cool.
i got to be in the parade, too. Nessa and i carried the banner to represent TATU. there was supposed to be seven of us for TATU, but three ppl didnt show up. Chelsea and another girl passed out gum, but they fell behind and we lost them about half way through. so in the end, TATU didnt have much to represent it. which is something i can easily go off into a long rant about, but i wont cuz im tired.
i really wanted to go to the game, but mom wouldnt let me, so my day feels incomplete. what really sucked was that everyone was there. Jordan was there!! and even Nessa went! well, at least Jami was considerate enough to call me so i wasnt left out on what was going on. i still regret not begging mom to let me go or plan ahead of time...
Homecoming dance is tomorrow, and im going with Tyler as friends. i like my dress... it's nice, and i cant thank my cousin enough for letting me borrow it since i wasnt able to go buy one... well, it should be fun... man... Homecoming has to be the best part of high school... it makes everyone so happy, and the teachers even lighten up on hw (which i happen to have none this weekend).
wow, this turned out kinda long... oh well. i guess i just dont want this day to end. maybe that's the reason i dont want to go to bed despite how tired i am... oh well. all good things must come to an end. just remember TATU's corny parade slogan: chew gum, dont smoke! *proceeds to hand out bubble gum*
