new manga! ^^
last weekend, i ordered the first two volumes of Forbidden Dance. i'm not sure if anyone's heard of it, since it's been out of print for who knows how long. it's a tokyopop book, so the translation is pretty good. the story basically centered around a girl named Aya Fujii who fell offstage during a ballet performance and gave her stagefright. she sees a performance of an all-male dance group called COOL and falls for their leader, Akira Hibiki. his performance inspires her to dance again and she tries to join the group, so she can dance with him (she gets mesmorized when she sees him dance, that's why). things are not in her favor, but she's gutsy and a bit stubborn, so it's interesting to read what she does next ^^ vol.s 1 and 2 came today (maybe i should read that in Lit tomorrow instead of starting The Great Gatsby. it's soooo boring, and i only know the plot so far. i dont know why our teacher loves it so much...)
last night i got caught and recieved a lecture today. i dont really care anymore, all i gotta do is do all my computer stuff during the day instead of the evening. hmm... i dont think ive ranted about the lunch policy at school yet... no one is gonna wanna read that, though. in a nutshell, the freshmen dont know how to act their age, and since our assistant principle is such a hard-ass, lunch is now restricted to the gym, cafeteria and activity center. to everyone. the freshmen have also gotten the vending machines in the activity center closed down a few days ago. there goes lunch (the cafeteria lines are murder, i use the machines). the school store has also been closed, so unless you bring food, theres nothing for you in the activity center.
