OH THE ROUTINE!

Rawr. Work is getting on my last nerves. Today my boss pushed me and told me I couldn't leave til 40 chicken on sticks were made. If you don't know what chicken on a sticks are, it's a slice of potato, then a piece of chicken, then a sliced onion, and then a sliced pickle (x5) on a stick. Okay, now it takes probably a minute if you're quick enough to make one. Buuuuuuut it takes a whole lot longer if you run out of one of the ingredients and have to make more. Well, I ran out of potatoes twice, ran out of pickles twice, ran out of chicken once, and COMPLETELY ran out of onions to where my boss had to go buy more. The task took me two whole hours, and I got out of work 30 minutes late. Oh the joy of rules, rules, rules.
The girl who works weekends is putting in her two weeks notice after working a month. Thank goodness, I hate her cause she's always looking for someone to take over her shift so she can go out. My friend (the gay one, haha) is going job hunting starting tomorrow. Soon I'm gonna be left all by my lonesome :( He's gonna quit as soon as he finds another job, which will be quick.

Aside from work, college this week is decent. I finally found a great topic to do my Psychology midterm paper on thanks to Jae. (Yes, she's actually useful for something, JK.) Our teacher wants us to pick out one psychology theory do a critical analysis on a movie with it. Like, "watch the movie in the selected Psychologist's point of view". The only thing I'm worried about is accidentally writing a movie review, which he said he gets alot. Also, 5 pages is hard for me... I think. I am known to write too much when it comes to writing things I want to talk about. Meh. Oh yeah, the movie is Fight Club.


Anywho, lately I've gotten hooked to the Korean variety show called "Family Outing." O-M-G it is the funniest variety show I've ever seen. The FYI on it: It's a group of celebrities who serve as permanent members of the "family". Right now that's Daesung from BigBang, Lee Hyori, and other celebrities. Then you have special guests like Lee Jun Ki, G-Dragon, T.O.P., U-Know, Xiah, Kim Hyun Joong, and SeungRi plus oh so many mor, who serve as temp family members for about two episodes. I can not wait for Labor Day!! MY FIRST DAY TO SLEEP IN PAST 8:30!! YAAAY

So Sleepy

Blah. I'm about to die for multiple reasons. My Windows Live Messenger won't let me sign in; I checked my firewall, went through all their troubleshooting steps, and it still won't work. Sadly I don't know if another program or file is carrying a bug or something. My scan is saying my files aren't infected, but I did notice that my computer acted funny when I rebooted. I couldn't stay away from 4shared this time around even after I issued a personal warning about the dangers of that site. Not my fault Itunes doesn't carry my music.

Speaking of ITunes, I bought myself an Ipod Nano. I was sad that they restrict your music source to ITunes, but I got around it by downloading some Windows Media Player program that allows you to sync your Ipod and WMP. Then when it came to downloading my music I used 4shared. Only place I could think to get free Japanese and Korean music from... unless you guys have another site for that stuff? I'm open to tips.

Anywho, the blond coworker who I've working with for over a year now, finally got fired. Apparently something big happened while she was texting on her phone, possibly an expensive drive off. Our bosses are seriously cracking down on texting on the job. Consequently, this gave to a new influx of rules, which is now aggravating the mess out of the senior workers. Right now, myself, my friend, and two of their best senior workers, are considering quitting. That's the whole night shift there! They gotta stop being so strict, cause they're making it look like they don't trust us at all. On top of that, the afternoon shift gets away with almost everything since it's the boss wife's closest friends. >[ I want to quit, but I'll be losing the only job that's within 5 minutes of my house, and my brother may end up getting the short end of the stick since I would be leaving him there to fend for himself. Such a sticky situation.

Karate is finally picking up it's pace. Yesterday we started with an intense warm up that involved way too many types of crunches and push ups. I can't use my shoulders, they're so sore!! Though I'll have a nice set of abs ;) Hehe. Then we continued by learning the 12 types of punches and it's form. I was excited to hear that learning that would be half of the Yellow belt test! The other half is the kicks and its form.

Argh. I'm uber sleepy. I keep staying up late, plus classes everyday and work everyday... I need to change something.. I hate going to bed early! I miss out on the fun things in the chats... Guess I can use the free time I have from now til work to type out my English Comp II issue paper. I need to email the damn teacher but her contact info isn't up there.... grrr

The first week of college is over! Now just 50 million more weeks left.

It went pretty cool. I'm enjoying the atmosphere a lot. The only thing I don't like is Psychology. One of those classes where it feels like he's speaking another language to me. Karate is off the hook. xD Thursday we practiced falls, which I was plenty swore after on Friday. I couldn't move my neck well it hurt so bad! Right now I'm plotting to wear my hakamas to practice.

Off the subject of school, the weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS! It's in the low 80's today which is soooo perfect! Yesterday I actually went outside and played! I haven't done that in months cause of the hot weather. The cool weather makes me so energetic and calm and peaceful. I meditated outside it felt so good! T^T I just wish it would stay 80 degrees for the rest of the year.

Lately I've gotten stuck on Super Junior and SS501 again. Yuuum. I wanted to have a SuJu ringtone but my phone sucks cause it's a prepaid phone you buy off the shelf. My dad hates phone compaines. Now I'm gonna go buy an ipod instead. I need one. Like really. Really need one.

Ugh, I got work in 30 minutes. Bogus. I want a whole weekend off, but that's impossible. I hate work. Plus I have to work with two of the ditsiest blonds tonight. Last week they managed to shut down the registers and have multiple drive offs. I'm not very prepared, so I hope my luck loves tonight and everything goes smoothly.

My phone is broke now. It won't turn on when it's off the charger and it gets stuck on the full battery screen when it is on the charger.... ugh.

HAHAHA! Yes I posted GD! I can't get over the video.. he's just too awesome. <__<

College started yesterday! (Gotta summarize since I have class again in 30 mins) Well, for teachers, my Spanish teacher makes me think I'm in kindergarten cause the way she talks. My Psychology teacher is cool. The Biology teacher is one of those young jock looking guys but he talks sooo slow and sooo deep that it freakin makes me bored and start to daydream. Ugh. The Biology Lab teacher is kinda crazy and one of those old cranky ladies. The English Comp teacher annoys me; she apparently likes to get into peoples' business cause she made us fill out a survey that asked a bunch of personal questions. The World Civ teacher is pretty cool, who is also the Karate teacher.
Books. Blah. All the classes have brand new books. Tons of money. Luckily since me and my brother share some classes, we can buy one book and share it, but that's like only for.. one class.... crap. My scholarship I got at the end of the senior year is not in my account. Now I got to run by City Hall and find out how the mess to contact the organization who gave it to me.
Surprisingly, I'm a whole lot closer to a lot of my graduating classmates than I was in high school.

Ack, this "I Shouldn't Be Alive" show is horribly distracting. I must go now. T^T

LAST DAY OF FREEDOM

Yep, today is my last day of summer. D: I'm excited that I'm starting, but I know that college brings massive stress, which I'm not ready for. Plus, financial aid is being a ***** with all the forms and tax returns. I lost my 2008 tax return even though I swore I had it printed out before, but it disappeared. So I went to go get my back up file on my old computer, but I found out it was taken apart for Dad's new project. Now I have to go through the IRS and that's gonna take awhile. Ugh. That wasn't the end, my brother's FAFSA is giving him hell because it keeps deactivating his PIN and telling him my dad's PIN is wrong! If he doesn't get his FAFSA completed pronto, he's gonna be broke with books; I have a scholarship I can lean back on unlike him.
Wish I still lived in Louisiana where they give you free tuition to all LA colleges, then I wouldn't need to bother with financial aid! I could be going to UNO dammit.. T^T

So yesterday I spent the majority of it trying to get aid stuff straight and neglected my chores. Then I stayed up til 4, which kicked me hard in the butt today at work. Today was the slowest shift I have ever worked, and I was tripping out, about to fall asleep. Luckily my boss called down and let me an hour off. I don't plan on napping though. I'm gonna either take a prescribed med or a Tylenol PM around 7 or 8, so I can tumble to bed 10. I gotta wake up tomorrow at 7 so I can go in and get more financial aid stuff right, plus my brother's classes start at 8, mine at 9. Speaking of schedules:

Spanish and English in the morning, ugh. Then the same guy who taught the Sociology class that I dropped this summer is teaching my Psychology class; I hope he don't hold grudges like that, but at least my best buddy is my class with me!

My brother has bad luck cause his schedule is off from mine, so driving together and such is a hassle. He's demanding to get it changed now. I say, good luck with that!

Well I'm off to take of errands. Oh yeah...

Uhhh I was suppose to take my driver's test yesterday but crap happened *cough*period*cough* so I stayed home and layed in bed forever. That crap crippled me I swear. Why must it be so painful?! T^T

Then today I wanted to go to the Mall and go clothes shopping, but that was shot out of the water as well.

Soooo blah blah blah.

Oh yeah, remember loooooooooong ago I told ya'll about my horrible boss who was sexually harassing me? Well he still kept doing it, but more subtle, by doing these "accidental hand bump" where when he passes a girl employee, the back of his hand "accidentally" brushes against the girls ass. Accident is not doing that every time he passes AND only doing that to females. Anyways, a couple of weeks ago he stopped doing that (I was so close to telling him off too) and yesterday I found out that now the new girl is getting harassed by him. It would be easy to tell him off if he wasn't our boss, but it's seriously hard to get a job around this place. =\ He's the only reason I hate working there! Ugh

Otherwise, college starts Monday. I'm rather excited. I filled out my FAFSA yesterday and I'm eligible for the max.

OH YEAH! I kept rambling til I remembered what it was I wanted to post. I actually have enough to make a full trip, hotel and everything, to Japan! The Inazuma Rock Fest is on September 19th and 20th, BUUUUUUUT *new* turns out the 6th annual Asian Song Festival is on the same day in Seoul!!!! I mean it's TM Revolution, Abingdon Boys School, Uverworld, Home Made Kazoku, and BUCK-Tick (All Inazuma Fest) VS. Super Junior, Big Bang, 2NE1, V6, and Gackt (All in the Asian Song Festival)!! I think I'll still pick the Inazuma Rock Fest though.... I DON'T REALLY KNOW!! T^T I wouldn't mind seeing Suju and Big Bang in Seoul..... but I would looooooooove seeing Micro and Takanori and Takuya...

Anywho, work in 30 mins (UGH) It took this damn advil 3 hours to kick in!! T____________T

Ahem, I'm better again. Life is brighter than it was a couple of days ago <____<

Plain and simple my brother had to give back 300 bucks to the boss. Turns out they didn't switch our checks, but they combined my 56 hours and his original 23 hours and gave his 79 hours. My dad can fuss at me all he wants, but I believe I did the right thing but telling the boss about it rather than letting them find out on their own. Knowing my boss, he would've been three times as furious finding out it two weeks later and then would've taken that out on my brother. The past is the past now.

Yesterday I got a nice big fat 600 dollar check from my left over financial aid. Dude now I have enough to buy me a plane ticket for a trip to Japan! I'm so close to seeing TM Revolution, Abingdon Boys School, Home Made Kazoku, UVERworld, and BUCK-TICK in the Inazuma Rock Fest! >_______< But I need to do some serious clothes shopping this Friday, so alot of it is probably gonna disappear. =\

Also need to drop by the college and reapply for my fall term stuff. I got a 500 dollar scholarship but I haven't seen it, do they send you a check or transfer it to the school? It worries me... specially since every class got new books so there are NO used books to buy which means 150 dollar books for my 6 classes T^T

Umm what else... that's all I can think of -___-"

YAY FOR MORE ****** BAD LUCK
Short story:

Brother got paid more than me. I found out that our checks was accidentally switched. I told dad, he fucking blew up at me and told me my ego was disappointing. He swears up and down he's going to be more successful than both my other brother and I put together. He took my car away and gave it to my brother, then he told me to reapply for financial aid and find a dorm to move into.

Yep, life fucking sucks. My luck hates me. Everyone fucking hates me. I'm a disappointment. I'm a pushover. I'm worthless garbage for disposal.

**EDIT**
He has the most ridiculous mood swings ever. Now he's all happy again and told me he doesn't want me to move out and gave my keys back. Ugh

Okay, so all of today just ended in horrible epic failure. Well not all.

This whole week I was set on planning to visit my forever friend in my hometown. Couldn't meet Tuesday because something was wrong with the car tire. Got that fixed, but he was too tired to go anywhere Wednesday. So when Thursday finally arrived, my friend had already delayed must of what she needed to do during the earlier days she was there, and that's when we attempted to meet her in our hometown.

A whole three hour drive (Summarizing btw) was fun with Dad. Finally get in our city and we wander around the town looking for people we know. Sadly I wasn't able to get in touch with the 4 people I wanted to visit while I was there.
After that failed plan which ended quickly after spotting millions of cops in the city, and actually watching a cop stand on the corner of an intersection glaring into every passing car looking for any violations and reasons to issue a ticket, we headed to our favorite restaurant we went to sooo much as kids. The place still looked the same, but the atmosphere had changed. The good thing was the food tasted the same as before, and their small portions of foods turn out to be very big.
We hung out around town for about 2 hours when we decided head toward the town she was staying for the week. She finally sent me a text saying to meet in a pastry place in the city we just left, but as soon as Dad made an illegal turn over the interstate to head back, she sent another text saying that she's heading to the city we were just going to!!! By then Dad's patience ended and he exploded. Sadly I was on the phone with her and she heard... she hung up and we had to cancel plans. What's worse is that Dad won't stop nagging nonstop about her being so rude and spoiled and disrespectful and etc etc. I feel bad because our disorganized plan was partly my fault. But if she wouldn't have sent that first text to meet back in the hometown at the pastry place, things would've been different ya know. Guess it was fate, ne....

My bad luck didn't end there though. Just when I was getting a little over my gloominess, my boss called me wondering where the mess I was for work. I even told her the day before what the hell I was doing. Forgetful peeps. On the other hand, when I went into work around 7 she heard my story and let me take off work.

My dad bought Powerball tickets and let me have one of the tickets... just wishful thinking though.. it is 16 billion bucks I'm talking about.... serious wishful thinking.

Maybe my first check after the minimum wage increase will be nice.

Dad's being a stubborn ox! The day I planned to go see my friend is tomorrow! I haven't seen her in 4 years and he doesn't understand how badly I want to see her! Thing is, his tire is bad and he needs to change it, but he said it's too hot. Then he coped an attitude with me and said "ya'll can make all the f**** plans you want, but I'm not going down there with a bad tire." Gaaaaah he's ticking me off. I would totally be there if I would've taken my license test last week but my aunt and cousins' arrival messed that up.
About the driving test, what's better to test in: A car that has messed up shifts and gears (sometimes it goes in reverse instead of forward, and I have to seriously rev the motor to 3 rpm in order to move after stopping) or a truck that I have ridiculously horrible parking in?

Anyways, seen the buttons in my intro? I'm not done yet but that's only a half. I still got a couple of more guys to add and a whole lot of girls...

Yesterday, dad made a bid for me on ebay for an old xbox game called Jet Set Radio Future. It's rare to find a cheap standalone copy but I did and put my max bid to 15 dollars. I watched it the whole day, but then when 7 o'clock rolled around, the bid was in its last minute. Oh my word, I started hyperventilating when I found out some guy was trying to snipe the bid! He bidded on it three times, raising the price from 9 to 12 dollars, but he ran out of time and I won the game! :P It was so scary...

Well that about sums up my post. Today I start work as a pizza girl again. Ugh. Not only that, my hours are about to get seriously cut because she's considering hiring ANOTHER person. Can't win around this place I swear..
