The Storm in my Heart

Geez, I had the worst day... again. I swear my life just keeps throwing depressing crap at me.

My dad woke me up this morning and asked me if I wanted to get my 360. So I got up excited, but then I got in the truck and told myself that it would most likely be sold already, so I kept my hopes down. Well, luckily it wasn't sold and I was able to buy it, so I got super happy. Brought it home and hooked it up... but the cd drive was broke and I couldn't get it to respond or anything. Got me soooooooo upset.

My dad fixed it actually, turns out there was a hole under the drive that you can stick a paperclip in and manually open it. Well, after that it was opening and closing but the drive wouldn't read the disk. One problem after another. So my dad took it and disassembled the whole thing to the drive. Figured out that all we had to do is bang on the top to get the drive to center the disk and read it.

Put my Halo disk in... "Players do not have the content to play" Okay, I have the fucking content. I redownloaded everything. Then it got to the point where it was saying that my disk was scratched and damaged. I cleaned it and it got worse because the damn drive put 5 huge scratch rings on it, making it more unplayable. I reeeally wanted to play Halo, so I convinced my dad to take me to buy another Halo 3.

Got to Gamestop and waited in the line. Then the stupid guy said he needed my ID in order to sell me the game. Got my dad to come in and he yelled "SHE'S 18!" and walked out. Dude sold me the game.

Got home with my new Halo 3, and I got to play a couple of games. But now it's giving me the same crap as last time. It's saying "Players do not have content" and saying that my disk is dirty when it's perfectly clean. Gave up on that and played the Naruto demo of Broken Bonds. Run a trial and jumped trees, then got to a fight where when I had just beat the guy, my whole system froze. I just gave up period. I may try again in a little while.

I spent alllllllllllll day fucking with this machine. The most I got out of it was playing a demo of DeadSpace and Mirror's Edge. I downloaded Netflix and went to go on the site to activate the free trial but it's being a bitch with so I gave up with that.

Think I'll just wait a couple of months til my dad's settlement to {hopefully, if ever} come in. Then I'll buy me a new one and I won't have to deal with this shit.
