Hello peoples.
Thanksgiving was cool, as I mentioned in my last post. Thing is, Dad made over 100 dollars worth of food, but we barely ate any of it, so we all agreed to have steaks next Holiday. Cheaper and a whole lot tastier :P
As for work, I am freakin exhausted. I worked 11 to 8 shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Friday; and 11 to 4 shift on Thanksgiving. Today and tomorrow I have 6 hour shifts. I'm getting overworked ;__; I'm gonna die if I work anymore! This better be a damn good paycheck.
I'm glad that I should be getting Monday off. Number one, I have a cursed essay due the next day. I hope my artist block will be gone and my thoughts will flow fluently. Oh, it's a literary analysis on the movie/book "Kite Runner." Anyone got great friendship quotes?
Speaking of college, I'm hitting a few future college roadbumps. Okay, roadbump may be an underestimate. Well, I can't go to my first senior college choice, Southern Miss, because it doesn't carry my major (English as a Second Language Instructor). I then looked at Ole Miss, and now it has me BEGGING to carry my major. The college has a HUGE study abroad program; I'm talking 4 universities in South Korea, 4 universities in Japan, freakin 30 other countries. I doubt they carry my major though. Makes me painfully sad. . . so I went on this site called collegeboard.com and did look colleges that did. The closest college that does carry it is in Tennessee. Now I need to decide if I'm going to go to Tenn and pay twice or triple the tuition (out-of-state fees), or go to Ole Miss, switch my major, and take the study abroad program. Maybe if I'm lucky I could find an online ESL program. Hm.
Anywho. 'Nuff said. I'm out!
You know I almost shot myself at work today. It's only the 28th of November and radio stations are already flooding the Christmas songs.
