o.m.f.g.

Yesterday was truly marvelous. We had planned to go to my Aunt's place to catch a late Mardi Gras parade with her, but turned out Dad misread the parade information and we missed the last parade by a couple of hours. I was sad at first cause all we did was sit at my aunt's house and catch up. After a couple of hours, we got hungry, and Dad decided on finding a Po-boy shop. Instead, we wound up eating at my cousin's. Her husband is a New Orleans chef!! I think he owns his own catering business. He made pasta Jambalaya, huuuge BBQ chicken breasts, sausage, hamburgers, cheese pizza, chicken potstickers, shrimp wutongs, eggrolls, and barbecued jumbo shrimp! I never ate so much in my life before. I ate a plate of pasta jambalaya, 6 potstickers, a wutong, slice of cheese pizza, a sausage, and about 10 BBQ shrimp. Eventually, he picked up on how much I was eating, and how everyone was making fun of me for it. He became determined to fatten me up! Luckily, I got dinner devoured before I could look at more food. Of course, he wasn't done yet. He started bragging about this high class dessert called Banana Foster, and it was sooo good. He taught me how to make it too :3 heat up butter, brown sugar, bananas, and cinnamon, then you serve it over vanilla ice cream. Amazing. I ate my plate and my Dad's. Then he and his wife started talking to me about trying their brownies. I wasn't paying attention well until he scooted the plate of brownies in arms reach. <___< Temptation got the best of me. Dude it was chocolate brownie with gooey chocolate fudge in the middle of it! I took the another one, which was last one, before leaving too. :D

I felt bad because alot of the stuff he made was frozen, so of course my arrogance thought it was store bought. I didn't realize he made all that THEN froze it to be used later. Some kind of special meat mixed with Angus beef to make his burgers; made his own pizza crust and pizza sauce. His two kids and wife eat like royalty! I feel sorry for the kids cause the cafeteria food at their school must make them puke!

If they didn't live two hours away, think I'd go over there once a week to eat. <.< He told me not to be a stranger and visit often! :D I'll have to have my half-brother meet him one day. . .

Well, I'm happy, and so is my tummy. =^o^= I'm gonna go clean up so when I get back from Sociology class I can take a nap. I wish Spring Break would be here by now. I need sleeep.
