Brace Yourself. It's long.
It's been such a roller coaster ride these past days.

Saturday was a blast. I got to go to the weapons seminar for Karate. We split into two groups since we only had a limited number of bongs (Korean staff). I got to learn how to use the sword first, which I was sad about later. Our regular teacher taught use sword techniques, while a former student of his who went on to open his own school in the next town over taught bong basics. Learned how to properly draw the sword, sheath the sword, advanced cool way to sheathe the sword, the first sword form, and some sword swinging warm-up practices. He was pretty exhausting, specially how I don't have much upper body strength, so swinging the sword over my head got pretty tiring fast. After an hour and a half, we switched with the other group to bongs.
--- It's funny, but I thought the bongs would be easy. It's actually quite hard at first, with all its twirls and spins. My main problem was the teacher annnd the twirls. I guess I lost my coordination cause I couldn't twirl that staff right to save my life. T^T I ran into my problem when my cell phone's vibrating alarm clock went off inside my uniform, that meant it was 3:30. I was suppose to be at work at 4. I told my teacher that, but not the guy who was teaching bongs. Not to mention, the guy was hella intimidating. I tried so hard to wait when he was done giving instructions, then I excused myself to his wife instead, who was equally has intimidating. I got out of there and to work in time.

Work was fine Saturday. I kept myself occupied til 6 then cleaned up that horrible pizza area til about 8:30. You could tell no one had really cleaned it in ages because there was a pile of junk that I cleaned out from inside the pizza cooler. Sunday was good until 4, when my replacement is suppose to show. He didn't. I was so pissed off cause I get stuck with these replacements who usually pull a no-show. My previous co-worker, who was my best friend, no-showed me about 20 times. I refused to be no-showed by this punk. I tolerated it from the other guy cause he was my friend. Oooh. I was angry. He showed up at 5 though, saying he took a nap and no one woke him up. He should know that cell phones have alarm clocks. Next time he does it though, I'm calling my boss to fill in his shift so I can leave, cause then he gets in trouble 3 fold of what I give him.

Okay that made me angry again. *turns on HMK music to feel better*

I went shopping the other day on amazon~ I bought 5 Korean books:
-"Read & Speak Korean for Beginners (Book w/Audio CD): The Easiest Way to Communicate Right Away! (Read & Speak for Beginners)"
-"Basic Korean: A Grammar and Workbook (Grammar Workbooks)"
-"Korea - Culture Smart!: the essential guide to customs & culture"
-"Looking for a Mr. Kim in Seoul: A Guide to Korean Expressions (English and Korean Edition)"
-"Korean: Lonely Planet Phrasebook"
I made sure to range the type of books: a culture book, a phrasebook, grammar workbook, expressions, and a read/speak with the audio CD. The only thing I'm missing is a Korean/English dictionary, and I'm still thinking if I should get Hangul flashcards. I can't wait to get them and start studying~~ I plan on studying abroad on a summer program to Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea next summer. I wish it was next summer already. ;__; As for the legal documents, think I may wait for my next loan to work on my passport and VISA's.

Oh yeah, last week our cousin visited, and he's been working off on a tug boat. It's alot of money. I was saddened that he was splurging so much of it on himself. He bought himself a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and a jacuzzi house, when he leaves by himself right now. I could understand that he helps in the future, but it seems like he's so consumed with the money. Now my brother is talking about working on the boat with him so he can make money. I'm sad yet relieved about it. He's talking alot about how he's gonna invest in a bank account so we don't have to worry about bills, get my twin a car, fix my car, buy us things. Ya know, he wants to spend the money on his family. I guess what makes me sad is about how my Dad sounded the same exact way when he was about to get his settlement. =| He ended up spending it all instead of really investing it. It just makes me worry. . .

Obsessive Thought of the Day:
I've been listening to Home Made Kazoku music all day, and it makes me want to start my own. . . movement. <_< Corny as it sounds, but feel good music is sooooo awesome. I think it would be nice to share it, ya know. Hm. Plus, if it ever became big, I could meet HMK and many many other artists. >///< Hehehe. I already decided that if I do, "Change" by HMK (the profile vid) would totally be my theme. <3

WELL. That's enough for today. Sorry I haven't been commenting on you guys lately. Blame the K/J Dramas! They consume me! Plus I've been so lazy lately. I have laundry sitting in the dryer, but I'm too hungry and lazy to fold it. ]:

Love you guuuuuuuys <3 <3
