Ultimate Weekend
Man, what a weekend this is shaping up to be. Not in the sense that I am having LOADS of fun, but I certainly am occupied.
This weekend is tech weekend and rehearsals for our theatre company at school. We will be doing 8 short pays this week, and now the whole group has to show up so that everyone can rehearse from 1 to 9. It's not bad, and it sure is harder to procrastinate when you have 5 hours with no OB time.
Unfortunately, I have homework to do, and it's pretty hard to do away from home with no PC. I have a project for my Ethics class, a French project and test to study for, and a Drama class script for the week after. Not too much, but once again, enought to keep me occupied. Oh, and I had a little fist fight with a guy I know "just for fun". I got hit in the eye and now have a slightly bleeding bruise on my arm, whereas he got bruises all over his forearms. (I never really put pride on my fighting skills anyway.)
The week itself was sort of a travesty, if you ask me. It went by reeeaaalllyy slowly, and I learned that I have a Science lab test to take on a weekend in December, and the real kicker is that it's on my birthday. Talk about bad coincidence, but funny too.
The rest of my spare time I'll probably spend playing Xenosaga, and/or talking to someone on MSN...Oh, and I am also going to work on more OB banners, it's been a long time and I have some cool ideas. Hopefully I can get it done during the week.

SNOW DAY!!!
Strange but true, I got to stay at home today because of the snowstorm in our area. The school didn't close, but our car and driveway were BURIED, so I got to stay home. Sweet, no?
I had to do some shovelling, that's the downside, but I did get to stay here the rest of the time and browse OB. I also saw an episode of Made In Canada, so I think I'll put up one of the funnier parts. The characters all work in a TV station, and it's sort of a real life Dilbert.
*guy reads his newspaper*
"You know, for an action star, Damacles (one of their actors) isn't too smart."
"Why's that?"
"Says here he got prescribed some medication by his doctor and now he's addicted."
"So? Happens all the time."
"They're suppositories."
"Oh,"
Yeah, that's a really cool show, a comedy with no laugh track and all the Tragically Hip music one can stand. Watch it sometime. I reflect my love of the show in my new avatar, 'tis none other than Rick Mercer, the star of the show and on the news satire: "This Hour Has 22 Minutes". If you do not know who he is then you, my friend, are not Canadian.
Oh yeah, I have rehersals for a play this weekend but I have no idea when. I'll probably have to go to school tomorrow and check it out, lucky me...On the other hand, I think Matrix Reloaded will be playing in English soon, so I plan to go see it...if it doesn't snow too much.
I also found a legal download site for Armored Core MP3 music, maybe I'll put it up here if I am allowed. Anyone here familliar with the legalities surrounding MP3s on the Net? the site is Armored Core Online MP3 Center, and I am curious as to wether or not I can put a link to a file here, I'll do some research but if anyone knows I'd appreciate the advice.
On one last note, does anyone here use MSN? I hear everyone talking about their AIM conversations with friends but no MSN. Am I the only one?? Is someone hiding their MSN personality from me?? Did I get the short end of the Internet communications stick??
(double question marks to add to the urgency of the point.)
If anyone does use MSN, my name is Wondershot, as usual. If not, then I'll have to install AIM too...*groan*

Minor edits...
I've been making some minor changes to my site recently, such as adding a new quote, new song in my intro (What I Got by Sublime) and a new Avatar. It's Tatsumaru from Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, and no he's not missing half his head. I'd put up a midi, but any non video game midis suck in my opinion, unless someone here can prove me wrong.
My long weekend draws to a close, and I'm going to do some last minute shopping before I am confined to school hours again. Thankfully, tomorrow I get to sleep in because the school sometimes lets students sleep for almost half the school day on certain random occasions. Also, Wednesdays only last until 12:30, and the classes are 35 minutes long instead of 60. So...that means that I have about two hours of school tomorrow, yay!
Oh, and the movies were a total rip-off this weekend. The theater was showing Matrix Revolutions in two theaters, but both of them were in French, for god's sake. The series is complicated enough in English in my opinion, (this coming from a guy stupid enough to watch Reloaded before the original).
Anyway, I might go see Scary Movie 3 tonight, if I can get all my weekend homework done in time (not so much, thankfully). However, I do have several projects due later on, so I might have to abandon my ways of procrastination and start them now.
Oh, and as for the RP Kill Adam, I joined, but somehow I doubt that I'll make it in. James did say space would be limited, and I don't think my character was really..."Kill Bill" enough. Oh well.
Ate ja,

School Daze
Well, I forget where I got the title from, but this week at school was sort of hectic, but fun too.
My mom, unfortunately, will no longer allow me to put up pics of my costume here. She is sort of paranoid about me putting up my picture on the net (and this is the first time I did it), so maybe I'll just crop out my face or something, makes little sense to me, but ok, Mom.
On another note, I am now taking the geatest winter sport ever invented, Curling! I hate basketball, I don't have good enough balance or coordination for hockey or skiing (hard as that sounds to believe...ok, I'm just making up excuses, I hate those too.) and swimming and cross country skiing really aren't my thing, so it was either curling or indoor hockey, so I went with the curling.
I plan on getting a new PC soon, and my dad is helping me go though all the stores to find what I want. It's kind of difficult, but I have a break week coming soon so I'll have time to shop. If anyone knows any good PC models (such as ones that you are using right now) I'd appreciate a little advice.
So, today I stayed at school for dinner because it was our end of spring sports banquet. It was cool, and the food was good. We are also going to get our coach a little gift, but I will not say because he might read this or someone will somehow tell him. Beats me how that could happen, but I won't take chances.
Oh, and I have been cruising the AC forums that I mentioned earlier, and have been doing some writing there too. If you ever have the patience to check it out, see if you can spot my name, or something.
In terms of movies, I plan on seeing Scary Movie 3 and The Matrix Revolutions this weekend. I saw Kill Bill last week, and you should see it too if you can stand the blood (what Tarantino is famous for).
>Mission objective achieved.
>System swithced to normal mode.

Happy Halloween.
Hello again,
Yesterday was quite something. I went to a Halloween party at my school, and boy, was it loud! I met a couple of freinds there, and got my picture taken by a guy I know whom we call "The Cameraman", because he takes pictures for the yearbook (I think).
The pary was ok. The music was good, but dances really aren't my thing. I ran into some people I knew, and we all had a good laugh at each other's costumes. I went as a ninja with colored hair, and I'll upload a picture soon.
So, How was everyone else's Halloween? I got some candy at school, but all the sugar made me feel sick. Go figure.
On another note, I minished my latest Quizilla quiz. It's called What Arena strategy are you? (Armored Core) I spent a lot of time on it, so please don't dismiss it just because I like Armored Core. I tried to make it for people who aren't into the game too, so give it a try sometime and tell me what you think.
That's about all I can think of for now, stay tuned for pics of me in costume!

*Groan*
You may have heard me yesterday, saying how I had a good feeling about this coming week...
Well, that was a lie.
Fisrt of all, I have been having problems in my Science class, and this one time I didn't do my work, I got a detention, and never even heard about it! That is to say, my teacher told the school secretary to call my parents and tell them I had a detention after school, but he never told me. I ended up staying anyway because I had to go to a Drama meeting, but I never heard anything about detention. I wonder how my science teacher is going to react to that excuse?...
On another note, I took Curling as a winter sport, since I never took it before, and it sounds like fun. The only problem is that my next meeting is tomorrow, and my friend is going to be pissed cause I had promised to give him a lift into town so he could buy a Halloween costume.
So far, so bad, and I still have homework to do for tomorrow. This isn't much compared to my first week at school, but you'd think things would start looking up by now...
Oh, I forgot, my NYC trip has been cancelled too! What a gyp.
On the plus side, I think that tomorrow will be a bit easier, since I know what I have to do. The only problems will be facing my science teacher and my friend...
Bye,

Good feeling...
For the strangest reason, I actually have a good feeling about this week. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that football season's over, or maybe that Halloween is coming on Friday, or maybe that I actually have all my assignments done already, but I think it's going to be a good week.
As I mentioned above, fooball season's over, but there were some good memories too... I took a cool picture of myself and a couple of friends and I'll put it up as soon as I can scan it. Also, we took a team photo, and there's this really funny one where we all made a huge body pile for fun, it was cool and I'll try and put that up if I'm allowed. We plan on getting our coach a gift as a surprise, but we aren't sure what it will be yet.
On another note, I recently looked at a site I participated in, Kasoubutoukai Forums, It was originally started to be like a second OB, and myself, monkeyqueen and Dmitri put up links in our sigs (mine's still there). The whole thing kind of fell through since we couldn't get anyone interested, but we tried... take a look at it if you like, that's what the link is there for.
Anyway, more news to come, and maybe i'll put up a pic of my costume that I plan on wearing for Halloween.
Until then...
Now you see me,
*poof*
Now you don't.

Weird...
This week hasn't exactly been "MyOtaku" worthy, so to speak, but I am planning on visiting the States in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned for that.
On another note, the AC forums I mentioned earlier seem cool, but moderating is stricter. Not in the sense of post quality, but limiting the number of posts in general. New topics have to be approved by mods BEFORE making it onto the boards, but people are actually allowed to post one-liners if they actually say anything, not just add an ignorant blurb. It's pretty hard to do that, but it is allowed, oddly enough.
On another note, I have been having weird conversations with my friends lately. I recently had a long discussion with a buddy over the phone about paradoxes and the 4th dimension. Also, I had a conversation with a friend at school via text messaging on our calculators, that's right, our calculators. I won't give any boring details now, but I just wanted to know: how many others here have had very strange conversations with their friends?
On another note, I recently took the "Proust Test" in English class, and it is full of weird personal questions. Has anyone else ever heard of it? I might try putting it up here when I have more time. Here were some of my favorite responses...
Q:What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A:Locking myself in my room and not having any obligations.
Q:What living person(s) to you most despise?
A:Politicians
Q:Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
A:Myself-Armored Core
Q:How would you like to die?
A:Inhalation of nerve gas/asphyxia
Q:Your motto?
A:"You might end up living or you might get shot." -Sublime
My friend listens to Sublime, that's where I got the idea. If anyone else has ever seen this test, plese put up your favorite results here!

Oh WOW...
My life has new meaning...
www.armoredcoreonline.com
www.armoredcoreonline.com/acforums
I just found these sites not half an hour ago, I just felt the need to put it up here, now. You all know what an AC maniac I am, I couldn't help it.
Um...aside from that nothing more to add, but I'll maybe put something over the weekend.
See you! (Unless I never leave those sites...)

What a week....
This week was really hectic, despite the fact that it was a lot shorter. I have three assignments due next week, and I had a football game Wednesday in the rain, and then I just came back from a three hour practice today!
Today's practice was really cool though, I did something really weird when I was trying out at offensive center (you have to understand football at least a bit to get this.) I was asked to to a long snap, and when I practiced it was fine, but then for the real thing I missed completely. What happened was the ball went way to the right, and our runningback caught it and ran past the stunned defensive line. It was hilarious, since it went right from me to the runningback, without even coming close to reaching the quarterback. The coaches thought it was really funny too, but then I was asked to stop playing center.
Anyway, that practice went really long because we were having scrimmages with points being counted, and we were deadlocked 1-1 for two hours until the coach let us leave because the boarders had to go to dinner. It was a really fun practice, especcialy since I got to taunt the defensive line by saying "Hello gentlemen, all your base are belong to us!" in a robot voice, we all had a good laugh.
In any case, I am really glad that it's the weekend, and I plan on going to see our school seniors play a football game tomorrow. On another note, I realized that our local HMV has anime movies! I was overjoyed, and I also got a Sum 41 CD for myself.
Oh, and read my AC story in Fan Fiction on ob. If you can't find it, click on the link AC : RR on my sig, I edited it yesterday, so you should read the next chapter.
Ate logo!
