WEEKEND!!!
Wow...it's finally the weekend.
UNBELIEVEABLE! I HAVE NO ACTIVITIES WHAT-SO-EVER AT SCHOOL! YAY!
*inhales deeply* Yep...it's true, my first free weekend ever since I came to this school. In Canada this is the weekend we celebrate Thanksgiving, and so the school houses closed for the weekend and all the boarding students went to Montreal.
I just came back from a football game against Selwyn House (a school in Montreal) and we beat them 46-16 (I think, no scoreboard at the field) It was a coll time, and I got to skip a whole day of school for it!
Now, I have 72 hours to do exactly what I want, and now a whole week of learning to get up at 6:30 without complaint goes out the window. Tomorrow, I sleep in!
Anyway, I plan to do some serious writing, and yes, terra, you did (supposedly unintentionally) guess what my fanfic was about...or did you read it already? In any case, you know me too well.
ANYWAY, I plan to work on that, and maybe see some friends from my old school, and have a great Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday...
(a very happy, yet tired)

More days go by...
So...today was fairly typical.
I have a football game against my old school tomorrow, and one of the highlights today was when I lost one of my pads, and after going back to school at 6:30, I found it in my garage back at my house. It slipped over the back stairs as I opened the door to get my stuff in.
ARGH
Anyway, I posted in my DMC story, and I'm plesed to say it seems to be going well. Thanks to all who joined, and someone else can still join if they feel like it.
On another note, I plan on writing a fanfic sometime on OB, once I find the time, probobly this weekend. I dare you to guess what it's about...
Ok...if anyone has any guesses, I'd love to hear them.
Oh, by the way, I learned about my favorite show "Made in Canada" from my older cousin. Apparently it's called "The Industry" down in the States, anyone ever heard of that?
Ok...see you again.

BIG BAD WEEKEND
Wow...I don't think I've ever done quite so much in a weekend, so I'll try to fill it in here...
On Saturday morning, I had to get up at 6 to get ready for a football game in Montreal. However, once I got to school, I was rewarded by one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever seen in my life. I had french toast with maple syrup and potato pancakes, as welll as some juice (Oh yeah, don't ever try and drink maple syrup straight up, it tastes like cough medicine only makes you sick to your stomach). After the breakfast, we hopped on the bus, and I felt the worst case of nerves ever in my life, since this was my first game. Once we got there, I estimate it was about 5 or 6 degrees C outside, and it was starting to rain, too. By halftime, I hadn't played yet, and I was freezing from my damp clothes and subzero windchill. By the time we got back out, my hands were numb, and I had been selected to play D-line.
CURSES
Anyway, once the game was over, and I was watching the clock to the last seconds, we went back to the trailer set up outside to change, and found cups of hot chocolate and donuts waiting for us! (Even better reward than breakfast!) My hands were so numb I could barely change my clothes, but then I got into my parent's car and went to a hotel, since we decided to stay in town for the weekend.
We went to Hudson for my cousin's birthday, and I have been trying to get him to join OB for a while now. He's an adult, but probably a bigger Otaku than me! Anyway, the birthday party was cool, and I got to see my little cousins, who are between 6 and 10, I think. I had a good time with them, but I'll tell you exactly what happened some other time, it was really funny, though.
The next day, I went back to my cousin's place to take him to a football game (we were only SPECTATING this time, thank goodness) and we had a good time, even though our home team, the Montreal Alouettes, lost. We got back in the car, and I had time to stop at a bookstore to shop for some manga. Out of curiosity, I looked at what they had on the shelves, and picked up a volume of Love Hina. It was actually one of the weirdest experiences of my life. No offence to Love Hina fans, but I was stunned. I have never seen that much adult humour and innuendo packed into one volume. I couldn't even finish it, it was really unnerving and weird.
Maybe I'm just immature, or maybe everyone else is, I dunno (wants to hear comments on issue, for some strange reason).
After that, I got my manga, and we packed off for home. I have two more football games this week, and one of them is in Montreal again....
...What a weekend, maybe I'll do some homework to calm my nerves.
(A very high-strung)

Bye, bye, weekend
*Sigh* I have about 5 more hours of weekend left in me, and I still have homework to do.
I'm feeling better now that I've finished most of the work for my history paper, and now there's just some math do do and then I'm done. Maybe it's good that I have to go back to school, while I was at home sick I had so much free time it was scary. I had nothing better to do than play ACSL and watch Made in Canada.
Anyone else ever watch Made in Canada? It's a really funny show, watch it if you ever get the chance. It's like Dilbert except it's at a TV production company and it's with real actors. It's kind of subtle, but it's really good.
I'm going to have to ease back into football a little more easily, at least if I feel like crap right in the middle of practice I have an excuse. Also, I plan on joining our drama (Players) club at school, so I'll get to do something I really like.
Oh yeah, and I recently lost to an AC spar against terra. I was kind of stunned since AC is my area of "expertise", but then again, terra is older than me and probably writes a lot more, so that's cool.
Next weekend I'll be heading to Montreal for 2 football games (one that I'm playing in, and another that I'm watching) as well as my cousin's birthday. (I've tried to get him to join OB, but haven't heard from him yet) I have a pretty tough schedule coming up, since I'll have to get used to practices again, and finish some projects so I may not be on OB tomorrow or the day after.
Bye, now.

Gah *cough*
Man, am I sick today.
I hate having sore throat/fever combinations. It's like the only kind of sickness I ever get, and I hate it. What's more, I have a sinus infection over the winter, so as soon as that comes around, I'll probably be stuck at home, barely able to move for almost a week. It's weird, I'm not too crazy about going to school, yet everytime I am sick I keep saying that I'd rather be healthy and at school, as opposed to the alternative. I was lucky this time though, cause I fell asleep yesterday at 7:00 and got to dodge tons of homework and a presentation for my french class, now I can relax...
Anyway, I got to spend the morning playing ACSL (Armored Core Silent Line) and resting. The worst came when my mom came into my room in the middle of the night to check on me and woke me up, it was painful as heck to swallow the pills she gave me.
Despite the fact that I felt the worst was coming, I had to drag myself to school yesterday with a half finished french presentation and a history project hanging over my head that I haven't even started yet, and then...
FOOTBALL PRACTICE
I felt horrible the whole time, and had to sit out for some of it, and it was way harder than usual, including running laps half the time.
Anyway, I am just sitting here writing, and I'm doing my best to stay awake. Thankfully I'll be downstairs watching TV in a minute, and I haven't seen any of my favorite satires in a while.
(Why can't I just get a cold like everyone else?)

my baaaaad new background
Hey ya'll, I just finished putting up my baaaad new background...
it's baaaad, no?
*Sigh* In any case, tell me what you think, some of you might even recognize it... *coughterracough*.
Oh, and does anyone know how to place a border around your text? I have seen some people do it (James, Semjaza Azazel, wrist cutter, etc.) I don't know how to to that, could someone please explain?
Thanks,
(the completely HTML ignorant...)

Life goes on...
I have been at my new school for almost two weeks, and to be honest, it's starting to grow on me, so to speak. Football practice isn't as bad now as it was at the start, and classes seem simple enough. However, there are still many activities over the weekends that I have to attend.
Tommorow, I will be attending a junior Cadets camp, where I will be removed from civilization for a day and a half, and I still have almost no idea what's going to happen. I leave tomorrow morning for the camp, and then return the next day in time for my last class and football practice.
I'm not too sure what I'll be doing, but an old friend of mine mentioned something about everything smelling like gasoline...
In any case, it'll be a cool place to get away, so to speak, and I am sort of excited about it, even though I don't know what'll happen.
See you after the weekend...

New school issues
I thought I would cut the idiocy today and talk more seroiusly about issues that I need to get off my chest...
I am currently going to a new private school in Quebec, apparently well known throughout the international community for being a part of a widespread exchange program, as well as the home of several of the best interscholastic sports teams in the area, and for having the highest teacher to student ratio in the country, as well as an atmosphere of academia and fellowship.
This is very different from what I was normally used to at my old public school. The schedules are a lot more hectic, and there are many MANDATORY weekend activities for new students, as well as MANDATORY sports programs, which involve training on weekdays until 6:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9 to noon. This is far beyond what I am used to, since I used to go to school from 9 to 3 and not have to do anything on weekends.
My new way of life is extremely strenuous in my opinion. I am currently taking Junior football, and I have probably worked harder in one weekend than over the whole summer. I am not very athletic, and the concept of getting home at almost 7 PM and having to get up at 6 or 7 in the morning is very new and scary to me.
I guess what I would like to know is...has anyone ever felt their way of life being changed so dramatically? Did anyone feel that they lived a simple life until...when? Has anyone ever been exhausted by their new walk of life? I would love to hear some opinions on this.
Thanks for your support

Back to school
Sigh, tomorrow I go to school, but the cool part is that It's a new school. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do when I get there, though, so It's gonna be different.
The bad part is that I have to go on weekends...sometimes.
