Painful...burning my eyes...
Today’s OCRemix: "Neighburgers" Zombies Ate My Neighbours Remix by Protricity. If anyone here has ever heard of my nutty friend Steve, whom I quote as being famous for his Shinmaru-rivalling ability to make fun of any Eternal Darkness moment in history, and a (controllable) over-the-top soprano voice which makes me laugh so hard when he pronounces certain words...or screams really loud, that I fall over laughing so hard I have to exit the room for a few minutes before having the ocurage to reenter. However, this mix came to me unexpectedly while his brother was advising Steve on how to complete "Mars Needs Cheerleaders". Since I had a bit of a cold at the time, I took a shot of Buckley's decongestant, and nearly choked on it when Steve told me about the new mix on OCR by Protricity. This was not so shocking in the sense that a new mix was out, but in the sense that he had actually recommended it to me. Reccomended it to me, I reccomend Remixes to others, not the other way around! My point being, this is a nice mix that came to me under completely unforseeable circumstances, and features weird synth guitar, and variations on the black-and-white horror film soundrack that made this game so cool in the first place. Enjoy if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, and take a shot of Buckley's immediately before listening for maximum effect.
Well, despite the lack of news from everyone else on my site in weeks, I'm still keeping MyO alive, like some 24-hour talk radio show that must stay on the air for some form of recognition. Other than that, I'm not sure what else is new.
Well, football season is in, and despite the fact that I am of junior level age (15) I am given constant mixed messages from each of the coaches telling me that I am on the second team, then I'm not on the second team, then I am again, or that maybe I'm playing with the juniors one day, and with the seniors the next.
How do you make sense of this multi-coach mixed football logic? You just don't, you run back or pull in this direction or hit that guy and try to forget about the fact that you have no idea why you're on the senior/junior football team other than the school forces you to, and that your coaches have no combined sense of what they're doing with you, and you take in these mixed messages until your sane concious mind snaps.
It's like I'm in George Orwell's "1984".
In other news, my spar with Alex, Ellie, and Phil returns from the "grave" of Adventure Square's fifth page, with an amusing, if somewhat nonsensical post of mine featuring a kung-fu fight in the sauna between myself and Phil. Reality TV at it's best, as I like to call it.
This also gave me some inspiration for a potential slogan or inside joke of "Mandalay Studios", an idea
that Alex and Ellie came up with for the spar:
"Do unto others what gets you ratings."
Ok, maybe not too funny, but it does make sense, if you've ever read "stess relief" before. Of course, this would be "s.r. 2", since Ellie's first was with...Heaven's Cloud and Mitch, I believe.
"Stress Relief 2: "This time, it's personal."
I'm tired of my own fake attempts at humour, so I guess I'll leave it for now.
Oh, and one more important pice of news: my dad is actually considering getting a myO site. This came as some interesting news to me, since he sometimes likes to read my stuff, but I bet that it wouldn't be a bad idea, since the only major issue around here is that he is way, way outside the normal age demographics for people who frequent myO: (I'm guessing 12-20), hence the idea of him getting a myO site is kind of odd, as it would seem like he doesn't really belong here, talking with those so much younger than he is, but I often talk with him about issues I read on the OB and on myO, and I think that the idea of him getting a myO shouln't be too big a difference, as I believe he has the capacity to accept discussion very well from those so much younger than he is.
Anyway, if you have anything to say about this, be it disputing the issue of age demographics on myO and OB, supporting or slamming me and my dad for considering getting a much older man a myO site (although don't expect me to treat those who reply to the latter with much consideration) or anything else, just remember that I like seeing numbers other than 0 in my comments box.
Oh, and if you haven't checked out Senpai (see below post) yet, I would appreciate some comments, as I am not sure if this idea is RPG worthy just yet.
Thank you all for putting up with me, yet again.
