   New school issues
I thought I would cut the idiocy today and talk more seroiusly about issues that I need to get off my chest...

I am currently going to a new private school in Quebec, apparently well known throughout the international community for being a part of a widespread exchange program, as well as the home of several of the best interscholastic sports teams in the area, and for having the highest teacher to student ratio in the country, as well as an atmosphere of academia and fellowship.

This is very different from what I was normally used to at my old public school. The schedules are a lot more hectic, and there are many MANDATORY weekend activities for new students, as well as MANDATORY sports programs, which involve training on weekdays until 6:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9 to noon. This is far beyond what I am used to, since I used to go to school from 9 to 3 and not have to do anything on weekends.

My new way of life is extremely strenuous in my opinion. I am currently taking Junior football, and I have probably worked harder in one weekend than over the whole summer. I am not very athletic, and the concept of getting home at almost 7 PM and having to get up at 6 or 7 in the morning is very new and scary to me.

I guess what I would like to know is...has anyone ever felt their way of life being changed so dramatically? Did anyone feel that they lived a simple life until...when? Has anyone ever been exhausted by their new walk of life? I would love to hear some opinions on this.

Thanks for your support
