   BIG BAD WEEKEND
Wow...I don't think I've ever done quite so much in a weekend, so I'll try to fill it in here...

On Saturday morning, I had to get up at 6 to get ready for a football game in Montreal. However, once I got to school, I was rewarded by one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever seen in my life. I had french toast with maple syrup and potato pancakes, as welll as some juice (Oh yeah, don't ever try and drink maple syrup straight up, it tastes like cough medicine only makes you sick to your stomach). After the breakfast, we hopped on the bus, and I felt the worst case of nerves ever in my life, since this was my first game. Once we got there, I estimate it was about 5 or 6 degrees C outside, and it was starting to rain, too. By halftime, I hadn't played yet, and I was freezing from my damp clothes and subzero windchill. By the time we got back out, my hands were numb, and I had been selected to play D-line.

CURSES

Anyway, once the game was over, and I was watching the clock to the last seconds, we went back to the trailer set up outside to change, and found cups of hot chocolate and donuts waiting for us! (Even better reward than breakfast!) My hands were so numb I could barely change my clothes, but then I got into my parent's car and went to a hotel, since we decided to stay in town for the weekend.

We went to Hudson for my cousin's birthday, and I have been trying to get him to join OB for a while now. He's an adult, but probably a bigger Otaku than me! Anyway, the birthday party was cool, and I got to see my little cousins, who are between 6 and 10, I think. I had a good time with them, but I'll tell you exactly what happened some other time, it was really funny, though.

The next day, I went back to my cousin's place to take him to a football game (we were only SPECTATING this time, thank goodness) and we had a good time, even though our home team, the Montreal Alouettes, lost. We got back in the car, and I had time to stop at a bookstore to shop for some manga. Out of curiosity, I looked at what they had on the shelves, and picked up a volume of Love Hina. It was actually one of the weirdest experiences of my life. No offence to Love Hina fans, but I was stunned. I have never seen that much adult humour and innuendo packed into one volume. I couldn't even finish it, it was really unnerving and weird.

Maybe I'm just immature, or maybe everyone else is, I dunno (wants to hear comments on issue, for some strange reason).

After that, I got my manga, and we packed off for home. I have two more football games this week, and one of them is in Montreal again....

...What a weekend, maybe I'll do some homework to calm my nerves.
