(Lets try this again) Sword Hearts,chapt. 18: Peace in Paranoia
Hey,I rewrote the last chapter so now its abit more managbale.If its still too long to read now,then just copy and paste it into a word document for later.THANK YOU SO MUCH.Bye!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A small pale Fateless made his way up to a white,peaceful,plain house.Rather then ransack it,it stopped a short distense in front and froze.Its eyes' turned from black to red,and a moment later flames were flowing out of its open mouth,unto the house.A few screams of horrer and agony could be heard from within the house.Similar events were happoning all over the neighborhood.The smoke from the fires blocked out the sun,dyeing the sky gray,making it extremely hard to believe it was only 3'o-clock in the afternoon.Unfortunetly the pale Fateless didn't get to enjoy his part in this "achievement" as long as he'd hoped. Just then,Kyoto had to pick the perfact time to decide weather to cut him in thirds or in half.Thirds won.She was alreadly drenched in her many previous victoms' blood.Silloetted against the burning flames,she looked quite frightening and feirce.Yet,she still managed to look relaxed,at ease.There was an air of danger in that calmness.You might think having your weekend and day-off interrupted by a gigantic,violent invasion would've frustrated Kyoto beyond description.You'd be wrong.Actually she found the chaos and the fighting quite soathing.It kept her mind off.....Other things.
A few blocks down,Rai was working on his own pile of defeated "mortal enemies of Smokey Bear."He was drenched in a blood not of his own,as well.One thing was for sure,he wouldn't be wearing those clothes again after tonights little "Welcome Party."However,as he tore off another 20 Fateless tops,from another 20 Fateless waists and legs,standing 20 feet away; with his "whip of metallic death",he didn't find it a third as soathing as Kyoto did.In fact,it made him feel alittle ill.Okay,VERY illI.It was down right nausiating.He was cutting down creatures who used to be but mere mortals; some of them perfactly innocent,and Rai knew this.Although,all the black blood and gore weren't very soathing either.With each "SPLLCH!" of them being sliced in half or thirds,or quarters,or fifths,he found it harder and harder to grip his wepion and resist the urge to vomit.
