School (though I'm not sure who'll read this since I'm posting so late)
I have no time to post today sorry! With XMas break coming up, I've been so busy! The teachers are loading us with so much homework!
Homework for today:
Reread article and take notes again- Science Research (I got one of the key concepts wrong, so I have to do it all over again)
Article summary and critique- Science Research
Lab report- Science Research
online questions- Chemistry
Gather swell-written articles regarding stem cell research for use in essay- English
Create vocab flashcards- Spanish
Thankfully, nothing in history or math.
Obviously, what will take the most time is my science research papers will take the longest amount of time. The one on that article is due tomorrow. I have to do the whole thing over again b/c I got one of the key concepts wrong, and it's so frustrating! >_< It was a long article too. I also have to write up that lab report (being a procrastinator I put it off till the last minute). *sigh* This is going to take forever!
The rest of my homework won't be quite so bad. But that comes after I finish my stuff for science research. Crap. I feel swamped.
Btw, I made a very dramatic and cataclysmic new discovery while I was taking a history test the other day: I actually do better when I study. This "study" is a very new and mind-bogglingly complex theory, which has bothered the brains of mankind for ages. XD

I’m so sorry! I’ve been neglecting my site lately! I think the last time I posted was around Thanksgiving, and now it’s almost Christmas! Because of the upcoming break, the teachers have been bombarding us with homework and tests! I’m so sorry! On the plus side, my schedule has recently been rearranged so that I might be spending more time at home. Maybe that’ll give me more time for posting.
Let me think... what’s happened recently? *trying to think back*
I went to the city last weekend and bought a fake designer watch for $10. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I guess that’s why it was $10. >_<
I saw the movie The Count of Monte Cristo on TV. It inspired me to read the book. I got about 100 pages through the book before I decided to put it on hold to read a different book. ^^” That happens to me all the time. The effect is that I’m reading like 5 novels at once! The book I switched for is 1984 by George Orwell. It’s one of my favorite books *Xanth’s an Orwell junkie*!
Ack! That’s the school bell. I’ve been posting in the 5 minutes before class starts.

Sorry, I haven't had much time to update since Thanksgiving!
Thanksigiving
For Thanksgiving this year, we went to see our grandparents. It went pretty well. The food was good, and we got to the mall. Well, the mall part had its ups and downs.
Day after Thanksgiving sales, and the fact that it was the biggest mall in the area, meant that it was practically a mob scene! If you stare at the mob for a little too long, you start to feel vaguely motion sick. There were definitely too many people. I don't like crowds at all.
On the bright side, I bought some nice new sweaters, and a pair of shoes (the shoes are a huge accomplishment since I wear size 5 narrow, which means that my feet are too midgety for the stores to carry my size! XD). I also bought what I call my "Jingle Bell Hair Scrunchie". Basically, it's a hair elastic with red and green ribbons, and lots of little red and green bells. So when you walk, the bells ring, and people stop in the hallways, and wonder if they're going crazy since they're suddenly hearing bells! XD I love that scrunchie! I've bought "jingle bell scrunchies" before, but I can never quite seem to find them again after Christmas.
The Week
Not much to say here. I went to school and performed the torturous task of learning. ^^"
Friends Birthday
Day before yesterday/Friday was the birthday party of a friend of mine. She threw a huge party and invited practically everyone she knew. I had fun. -^^- Of course 4 hours in high heels meant my feet were killing me by the end. >_< Okay, I guess 4 hours isn't too long, but I'm not very used to high heels, since I always wear flats if I can help it! At the party I met this guy named Rob. I think he crashed. He seemed nice (and good looking). I didn't really get to know him though. It's too hard to talk and hear over extremely loud music. Maybe I'll see him again sometime though.
Other
Well, I spent about half of yesterday sleeping, so not much to say there. I changed my theme here to look more festive towards Christmas. I gave up on the Anime Christmas Collage idea though. Most of the pictures I found turned out to be pictures of the characters in Santa Hats. Not that I dislike that, but I don't think it'd look great in the collage. If I create enough of these collages, I might create a website (probably another MyO) with my various collages on it. So far, I've made 3. Well, I'm going now. Bye.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING PEOPLES!!!!!! -^^-
What are you guys planning to do to celebrate? (If you don't celebrate it, what are you planning to do this weekend?)
I'd put up a Thanksgiving picture in this post, but I don't dare risk it, since I'm using the few minutes before school starts.
Tomorrow, we're leaving to go visit my grandparents.
I'm planning on starting a Christmas wallpaper collage. What I plan to do is collect 25 XMas anime wallpapers and scale them down to 20% size, so that I can fit all 25 of them onto a single wallpaper! So far, I only have a few. Could you guys PM me some if you have any? I want to have it done by the 12/1
G2G! The bell just rang!

Well, I feel well rested this morning. I got nearly 12 hours of sleep last night! That's very rare for me! -^^-
So, let me think, what did I do yesterday? Not much. I went to the library, and took out the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. Honestly, it wasn't the best movie but it was sorta entertaining. The funniest part was that none of the actors playing the major characters were Japanese or American (it's an American movie taking place in Japan). No, all the main characters were played by Chinese actors! XD Apparently, the director is married to this famous Chinese actress, so that must have something to do with it. The main characters were played by: Ziyi Zhang, Ken Watanabe, Michelle Yeoh, and Gong Li. Definitely Chinese names. I ate sushi while watching the movie. I guess you could say that it was pretty appropriate.
While I was at the library, I also ordered the unabridged Count of Monte Cristo. I saw the movie the other day. I enjoyed it a lot, and it inspired me to read the book. The only question is: will I enjoy the unabridged? I remember going through a similar thing with Great Expectations by Dickens (*hiss* Dickens! Hate!). I read an abridged version, loved it, and then attempted to read the real thing. It didn't work very well. I learned that I loathe Dicken's writing style. He has too many details about too many unimportant things. It was almost as bad as Robinson Crusoe, where the author spend an entire chapter talking about planting trees. >_< Hopefully, the unabridged Count of Monte Cristo won't be like that. If it is, I have another Isaac Asimov book (Foundation's Edge) to read as backup (I love Asimov, he's such a good writer). According to the library, since I put the book on Hold, it should arrive withing 3-5 days. So, I look foward to (and dread) reading this book soon.
Since I don't know if I'll be posting next week, I might as well ask now?
What are you guys planning to do for Thanksgiving break? (Darke, since you obviously don't clebrate Thanksgiving, what are you planning to do this weekend?) I'm going to go visit my grandmother. I look foward to the (hopefully edible, since G-ma's not a great cook) feast! -^____^- *licks lips* This talk of food is making me hungry.

Memoirs of a Geisha Japanese Trailer
I liked this trailer better than the American one. Don't worry, the audio is in Enlgish. Only the writing is in Japanese.

New Theme, Web Design Club, Nightmare Before Christmas
Well... It's Saturday, and it's 11:46 and somehow no one on my friends list has posted.
So, what do you guys think of the new Ouran theme? I think it came out well. I didn't really change too much. I put up a new video in the profile, changed
I finished that flier for the web design club. I ended up making it XMas themed, since I figure by the time we hand them out, it'll be XMas. It's styled to look like a pop up. -^^- At first a tried to draw it, then I decided it would be better to set it up as a website and take a screen-shot of it. So that's what I did! -^^- What do you think? Any ideas of how I could make it better?
I think I'll make some more fliers non-Xmas themed. Everyone in the Web Design Club is creating these. But only the best one will be handed out I think. Hopefully, the best one will be mine. I hope.
You know what song is stuck in my head? "This Is Halloween" from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I found an AMV with the song, and it's been stuck in my head since. It's inspired me to watch my Nightmare Before Christmas video! -^^- Okay, this movie, is in my opinion, one of the best kiddy movies out there. It's awesome! I don't care if it's aimed towards little kids, I'll always love this movie! The music is good, it's cute, it can actually be related to real life.
Basically, the main character is very depressed with his boring life. So he decides to go looking for an adventure. What he finds is another culture (Christmas Town). He's really fascinated with all the new customs and everything and tries to bring it back home with him. However, his attempts at introducing the new traditions to his home (Halloween Town), things get sorta messed up.
Basically this movie is cute and funny. The music (cuz it's a musical) is good too. I know it's weird for soemone my age to love it, but I do! With a passion! It's awesome! -^^- I think I'm gonna go watch my video now.

Okay, class starts in a minute. I’m just posting to announce some stuff.
1. I changed my theme again -^^- It is now Ouran.
2. I joined the school web design club. We’re creating fliers to announce our existence. What do you guys think a good color scheme for my flier would be?

I leave for school in 1 second. I have a chemistry test and a test on the French Revolution. I didn't study for either one. I'm so sunk! I'd study in Chorus, but I forgot to do my math hw, so I'm doing that in Chorus.
About my last post. You don't have to send it out or anything. I didn't. I just put it up as a post. Although I hate chain mails with a burning passion *burns chain mails w/ digital blow torch*, I thought that one was sorta sweet. -^^-
Gotta leave now.

Hehe, I usually detest chain mail, but I thought this one was sorta sweet. It's for those of you who care enough to come and talk to me and stuff. -^^-
Not much happening. This is one of those rare days where I can actually wake up without pressign the "snooze" button at least 50 times. So... I'm posting since I actually have the time. Thing is I'm not sure what exactly to post... My life is so boring that there's not much to write about.
I think I'll go to Quizilla and kill some time there.
~xanth~
What Kind of Angel are you?

Okay, school doesn't officially start for another 4 minutes (7:45) so I have some time. I have chemistry homework due block A, but I think I'll do it during Chorus (which starts in 4 minutes). XD Yeah... I had an extended weekend to do my homework, but waited until the hour before it was due. I'm a real procrastinator. XD I didn't do much this weekend. Well... I created another collage type wallpaper. The theme of this one is Air. Hehe, I love that show! <3 There's the bell! Gotta go now!
