Todasy is my mom's birthday. I spent the past few hours creating a card for her. What I decided to do, was make an online card using a myO website. I used the myO username bdaycard to create it. Well, I'm home again. As you can see I've changed my theme to fruits basket. -^^- What do you guys think?
The birthday party wasn't too bad. We went to a fancy Italian restaurant to celebrate the 80th birthday of a friend of the family. I think the funniest part was the fact that Kevin kept trying to find ways to spike his Pepsi with beer or wine without his mom noticing.
The beach blast wasn't too bad either. The fireworks were nice, if it didn't shower everyone on the beach with chunks of burning crud.
Sorry if I don't have much to say. Not much has been happening lately. It's been pretty boring.

I haven't been to your sites in so long! I'm so sorry! I haven't been able to get onto the internet much lately, since I've been away from home and stuff, and-- I'm sorry! I still luv ya all, I promise I'll visit when I get the chance!
The first half of yesterday was spent catching up on sleep, since the previous night I was struck by both insomnia, and a flooded basement. The damage to our basement wasn't as bad as it could have been. We'll have to repair the floor tiles, and there was some damage to the wall. The pipe which burst will have to be replaced, and stuff. The second half of yesterday was spent at Borders. Something to know about me is that when I go to the bookstore, I rarely buy books. I just sit there and read manga. I took the time to reread a bunch of old fruits basket manga. Heh, I love furuba!!!! Especially Yuki and Kyo1!!! ^///^
We're going to be away for the next few days (including today), so I won't be able to post (i don't think). First, we're going to the birthday party of a friend of the family. Then we're going to the beach blast, which is this huge party at the beach! -^^-

Well, I'm back home again. Wow, I've been away from the internet for a while. Anyways, I've been at this place called Sturbridge Village. It's a recreation of a colonial village. It's sorta interesting, if you're in the mood. We got to camp out in the trailer for a few days, and we enjoyed the pool. I don't have anything else to say though, right now.
Meh.... I'm tired. =________= My dreaded arch enemy insomnia struck again last night. And my basement is under water. X_X At 2:30AM or so last night, I went to use the bathroom, and I hear running water coming from the basement. Well, as it turns out, a pipe burst and flooded our basement. We had to buy a new water pump to get out all the water, since the old one wouldn't work for some reason. According to my Dad, it was a good thing I was up, or else the leak (more like waterfall) would have gone on all night. I never thought I'd thank my insomnia. >.<

Vacation: Sorry if I forgot to warn you. For the past couple weeks I've been on vacation in Washington DC. -^^- It was pretty good. We stayed with our grandparents, who live in the nearby suburbs. Most of the time there was spent doing a lot of nothing. Watching TV, video games, reading, etc. It was pretty quiet. We did go into the actual Washington DC area on our last day though. We toured through several of the Smithsonian museums (I never get tired of that). So now, I'm back home. I think my vacation was pretty good, and would have been better if I was in a better mood. For some reason, I've been sorta moody lately, and I've been feeling sorta depressed that I don't have a boyfriend right now. Well, it's pretty stupid to mope since I'll find someone eventually, and there's no one I'm particularly interested in at the moment. Anyways, I'm in a good mood now, and I don't want to ruin it with nasty thoughts. -^^-
Random thought: Why is DN Angel labeled as shounen-ai if Daisuske and Satoshi both end up with girls at the end?
Not so random thought: My wallet's gone missing again. T-T I think it's in the house somewhere, but I can't find it! DAMMIT!!!! *sigh* If it is in the house, and not somewhere else, it'll probably turn up sooner or later. Hopefully sooner and not later. *sigh* Why do I have to be so damn good at losing things (like my wallet)?!! T-T

Go: Last night, I saw the first episode of Hikaru no Go with english voice overs. Sae's voice bother's me so much! >.< He probably sounds better in the japanese version (hopefully) which I still haven't seen yet. How is it that so many English voice overs give the characters voices like little kids? It's not too bad in Go, since Hikaru sounds 10 and not 4 (he's in 9th grade or something). I think it's worst with One Piece. Luffy sounds like he's still in elementary school! XD I also hate the English voices in Fruits Basket, especially Tohru's. In general, I prefer to watch anime in Japanese because I can't stand the English voices! >.< Inuyasha and Fullmetal Alchemist have good voices though. They're among the anime I watch in English

Well, today I decided to sleep until 11:30 so I'm sorry if this post is going up a little late. ^^" I don't know what to say today in my post since not much is happening.
Let's see... What's happened? Yesterday I went for a walk with my friend Ambi-chan. That was fun! -^^- I've been feeling down lately because I don't have a boyfriend, but she managed to cheer me up about it. Besides, there are no interesting (or attractive) guys around here. It's annoying. You know what? Attractive looking guys are rare (wouldn't it be nice if they weren't?). *Sigh* You can't get everything you want. A lot of guys around these parts are snobby, immature, or just plain jerks! It really bugs me. >.< I mean, I have my guy friends, but still... Wait, I said I was going to cheer up about this. ^^" Well, at any rate, I'm in a better mood today than I was yesterday.
Sorry if I couldn't visit yesterday. If you read my post, I told you that my internet was going off for the rest of the day. T-T Oh well, but I have unlimited internet access today (or until someone decides to kick me off). -^^- I love my internet. <3

Well, yesterday the weather cleared up and we managed to go to the local amusement park Playland. It was so much fun!
One of my favorite rides there is called the Starship 2000. It's like the Tasmanian devil ride at 6 Flags. They put you in this room/machine which spins so fast that the people inside get glued to the walls. Well, I always thought that it was cool. It probably sounds lame from the description. Another cool thing about this ride, there's this weird optical illusion created from all the spinning: it's like you're lying on your back against the wall but it feels like the floor, and the people across the room from you seem to be on the ceiling. In this ride, you really are glued to the walls. I remember this one time when I went there, someone started breakdancing on the wall during the ride. O_O They got kicked off, but it was still pretty cool!
The ride I went on most that day though was called "Playland Plunge". They had one like this at 6 Flags too, but I forget what it's called. Basically the tracks form a huge hill. You go up in a (literally) 2-ton car, and then down again. It's a water ride. When you go down the hill in that heavy cart, it creates a HUGE wave. Everyone in the cart, and everyone standing near the ride, gets soaked! -^^- It was a hot day, I must've literally gone on like 8 times! My clothes were still soaked when I got home!
Another ride I went on was called "the log flume", which is another wateride. I love that ride. I rode in front of Bryan and Michael, so I couldn't do much when they started being XP! For example, they started singing "Rock the boat! Rock the boat baby! Rock the boat! Don't tip the boat over! Rock the boat!" And they were rocking the boat we were in for the ride from the side to side. I was just like X_X
Good news! There's a new addition to Playland rides! Flimsy seatbelts! ^^" Up to a few years ago, a lot of the non roller coaster rides didn't have seatbelts. They had (not the best quality) lapbars, but no seatbelts. Which looking back, makes me wonder why the heck I went on them. Apparently someone died once by standing up on the "mind scrambler" ride, by standing up in the cart, and they got sued. They had seatbelts after that. In my opinion, even though the ride needed seatbelts, it's only common sense not to stand up in the middle of the ride, and they even say "Don't stand up during the ride" for the retards! X_X People can be so stupid.
Despite everything, I had so much fun! -^^- I think next to the rides, my favorite thing was playing Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). At the arcade section, they had DDR SuperNova. This is the newest version, (c) 2006. Man, I love DDR. It's only $1 there. Which is nice, sice at my local arcade they charge twice as much for the same thing. >.< I remember my friend told me of this place with 50 cent DDR, and I was like "What? That's possible?" I love DDR! Just curious, how many of you people play or have played DDR, and which version? Yeah, I'm DDR obsessed! I wanna get DDR Extreme 2! What's your faorite songs in DDR?

I made some minor changes to my site here. I changed the messages on my javascript alerts when you enter and leave this site, and I changed what it says on that bar at the top of the screen! I also changed my avitar to one I made (I suck at computer graphics) which says "Spork Queen", which is officially my new title! Let me explain. Today I had my friend Rini over. So we're taling about reasons why we're insane.
me: Sporks! My world revolves around sporks!!!
Rini: Yes! Let's raid the grocery store and steal all their sporks!!!
Thus I've been conciously obsessed with sporks since we talked about it, although I loved sporks before, I love them more now. Not much to say today. I'm sorry I couldn't get to all your sites last night. Something happened to our firewall, and it's now blocking us from the internet. I'm using another computer right now, so I can post. I plan on watching the Howl's Moving Castle later today, which is a Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli movie I found at the local library. There's a storm outside right now. There's wind and lightning and rain and stuff. The lightning has a tendency to make my computer restart, which is more than a little annoying. This is my second time writing this post. I can't remember what I wrote the first time, before the lightning made my computer restart. It looks like I'm going to be stuck inside today. I hope this storm doesn't continue to tomorrow, because we're planning on going to the local amusement park tommorrow. I'm inviting my friend Rini too. I really hope the weather doesn't keep up like this. If it does, chances are we'll get a blackout and tomorrows plans will be canceled. >.<
