Well, I just got back from a "vacation" I had no clue I was going on. No one told me we were leaving, until we were leaving. It's just like "Hi! We're going on vacation!" "When?" "Now!" "Right now?!! O_o" "yup! ^^" My "vacation" consisted of being ditched at my grandmother's for a week. It wasn't really a vacation.
Over this "vacation" I started and finished the book Memoirs of a Geisha which is basically your basic shojou-ish plot (boy meets girl sorta thing), only the main character is a geisha in Japan. I liked it. Now that I read the book, I wanna watch the movie. -^^- Other than that, I didn't do much with my "vacation" other than watch tv. It was pretty boring. >.<
I was also cut off from the internet since Grandma doesn't have a computer. Even if she did have a computer and know how to work it (which she doesn't) she still probably wouldn't have internet. >.< This is why I haven't been able to post or visit your sites or anything for the past week.
Today's probably going to be nice. It's one of the rare days I have at home without my little brother, since he's away at boy scouts camp. So I plan to find something girly to do, like shopping or going to see a chick flick or sumthing, which normally I wouldn't be able to do because I'd have to babysit him, drag him with me, and listen to his whining, and ick! XP But I'm free of him for today! -^^-

Thanks for the comments yesterday, and answering my questions. There was a small error tho. As my friend Darke pointed out, I wrote that the protagonist was the bad guy. The protagonist is the main character. The bad guy is called the antagonist. I always mix the two of them up tho. ^^" Thanks for pointing that out Darke!
Last night we went to a ChinesexJapanese (mainly Chinese, but I go there for Japanese food)restaraunt called Jani for dinner. We split a miso soup, 2 california rolls (sushi), and a sashimi (raw fish) platter. -^^- It was delicious. For me, sushi is a rare treat, and sashimi is an even rarer treat, although I prefer sushi over sashimi. I also like hibachi grill, although, that's expensive so we only eat it for extra special occasions. At the end of dinner we got fortune cookies. Fortune cookies are hardly authentic, but they're tasty! ^^" Man, all this talk about food is making me hungry! XD I think I'm going to go eat breakfast now (it's 8:47 by my clock). Sorry if it's sorta boring for you guys to be reading about food. ^^"

Hello! I'm glad you all liked the story excerpt written by me and ambi-chan (if you haven't read it yet, go into my site archives for my last post)! It was so funny writing it, and I'm glad you all agreed with me there. -^^-
Well, I don't have much to say on my weekend. We went to the beach with some friends of the family. It was nice. The only downside (other than getting eaten alive by mosquitos and green flies) is that I got caught by suprise by a wave, and ended up getting dragged across the sand. That hurt. >.< Don't worry tho, I'm fine. There are no serious injuries, only a shallow scratch on my hip. Other than that though, it was really fun. -^^-
I also had my friend Rini over. She used to have a myO account (fox resurrected) but she converted to myspace (curse you myspace!). I don't have much to say here either, since we didn't really do much. We played Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) Extreme for a while (I'm really enjoying my new dance pad), and then watched AMVs on YouTube.
I just thought I should recap my weekend for you guys before I got to what I really wanted to say today.

Okay, I have some questions for you peoples:

2. What would your main character be like?

5. What would your protagonist (fancy word for "the bad guy") be like/look like?

My Answers:
1. I created this sort of story which was intended as an Inuyasha spinoff, but it really doesn't have a plot. Basically my main character *somehow* (real creative, I kno) gets into the feudal era, and slays demons and *stuff* (again my creativity amazes me).
2. My main character's name is Colene Laguni. I have more or less honed in her personality to the point of where I can say how she'd react in any situation (almost). Colene has a *really* short temper. She used be a street thug/gangster but is now reformed. She has a delicate ego, and can get depressed a little easily. She's also a hopeless romantic and is completely in love (and clingy) with her boyfriend and best friend who travel with her. I'm not great at describing her, but in my opinion she's awesome. Colene is 5'9", has wavy blonde hair (roughly shoulder length), and green grey eyes. She's also extremely beautiful, so guys tend to follow her alot. She really hates that, especially ones who she considers perverts. She's also from the U.S. and moved to Japan about a year ago. Colene is also a shape shifter, and can transform into any creature (real, demon, or mythical) which is how she can slay demons.
3. My favorite character is Colene, who I described above, but my second favorite character is her best friend Mika. She's half fox demon and half fire demon. She was raised by humans, so she doesn't mind being around them. She's best friends with Colene, whom she considers to be like an older sister, and calls Onee-chan (affectionate term for "big sister" in japanese). Mika is uber chibi cute. I'm not exactly sure about how to describe this part. In my head, I picture her as having chibi moments, where she's really cute and emotional and stuff. Mika is also from England. She moved to Japan when she was a little kid though, so doesn't remember it. Due to this, she and colene both speak English. Mika and Colene met because some villagers were afraid that Mika was going to attack them because she's a demon, so they wanted a demon slayer (Colene). The two have been friends since then. Mika is 5'4", she has reddish-brownish-orangish hair XD which she wears braided, she has fox ears and a tail, and whose demon attacks mostly have to do with fire balls and stuff. Mika Pic

5. I never really created a protagonist, maybe they'll go against Naraku for some reason, I haven't really decided.
6. Colene also travels with her boyfriend Jason Smith (His name is so mediocre I might as well have called him Joe Schmoe ^^") Jason is 6'1", has light brown hair, and dark blue eyes. He's also psychic and can do telekinesis (levitating stuff) and read minds (his mind reading powers are more detailed with people he knows well). He is also Colene's exact opposite in personality. I made him to complement Colene. He's calm, level-headed, intelligent, and usually thinks things through. In contrast to Colene who's much wilder and impulsive.
This story I created never really made it to paper, since there's no real plot, and the fact that I suck at writing stories. The only thing I really have honed down about it is the characters, who I really love. <3

Not much to post today. I spent yesterday doing a whole lot of nothing.
What I Did:
1. Visited you sites
2. Burned my Rent songs from my itunes onto a CD
3. Printed CD cover and back cover (i created) w/ the tracks
4. Eat/Sleep/etc
5. Go to the library
We're going to the movies later today, hopefully to see the Pirates of the Carribean 2, since it just came out last night (12am, so it's technically this morning), and it looks worthwhile. But as far as I know, other than that, I'm just hanging out round the house.

Okay, first things first, as you've noticed I've changed my theme to match today's post. It's only temporary. I'll be changing it back to Fushigi Yugi and Randomness tomorrow. -^^-
I'm sorry if I wasn't able to visit your sites for the past few days. If you read my last post (which few of you did) we went to visit a friend of the family for 4th of July. We were there from Monday morning to Wednesday night.
My 4th of July was great! The only thing missing was fireworks. Okay, for much of the day we were scared it was gonna get canceled due to "severe thunderstorm warnings". Yeah... Basically the entire coast was hit with storms. But anyways, it stops raining a few hours before the fireworks, so the show went on, as the cliche goes. So we drive over to the local beach to watch the fireworks. So we we're waiting for the show to start, and watching the (illegal) civilian fireworks going off. But then people start leaving. So we roll down one of the car windows and ask this guy
"Why is everyone leaving? It hasn't started yet."
"Oh, it just ended."
We're just like O.O because we mistook it for more of the civilian fireworks. In other words, the "fireworks spectacular" was a little crappy thing. >.< I was very disappointed. To me, 4th of July isn't 4th of July without the fireworks. *sigh* =____= I'll find another time to watch fireworks.
I spent the rest of my time watching the twilight zone marathon on SciFi (channel 48). Okay, I love the Twilight Zone. It's an awesome series. And I mean the original one in black and white, not the crappy remake they released a couple years ago. This show might be old, but it really rocks!
Light My Candle-- Rent
I also spent the weekend watching the movie version of RENT the Broadway musical. I think I've mentioned before that I have a thing for Broadway musicals. I fell in love with the music from RENT. I think some of my favorite songs were "Tango Maureen", "Take Me or Leave Me", "Light My Candle", "Another Day", and "Rent". I downloaded the selections soundtrack onto my ipod. -^^- Hehe, I'm in love with it!

w00000000t!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY PPLS (if u live in the US that is)!! And I hope you all enjoy the FIREWORKS!!!!!! We're visiting a friend of the family for 4th of July, and I probably won't be back for posting and commenting and such for a few days. Our friend lives in Long Island, NY so it will be a bit of a long drive. I don't really mind long car trips though. Hopefully it won't be too long due to traffic.
Okay, I got a little lazy with card, but I think it came out relatively nice, don't you? I don't think anything we do this year can measure up to last year. Last year we went down to Washington DC and got to see the fireworks over the capital! Well, from the highway that is, since there was so much traffic, we basically just ended up parking on the highway (like everyone else) and watching the view from there. ^^" I wish I could set off my own fireworks, but unfortunately, they're illegal in my state. *sigh* Too bad, b/c I love fireworks... =____= Now if I lived in a state where they were legal, I'd have a FIREWORKS BONANZA and set my front yard on fire! XD
Okay, I officially decided what my Air wallpaper will look like. On one side (preferably left) I'll have Misuzu and Yukito (romantic), and on the other side I'll have the translated lyrics to the Air theme song Tori no Uta (my background music). This will be against a background of the sky at sunrise. Unfortunately, I don't have any good pics of MisuzuxYukito. Do you guys know any good Air websites, or just any old website, where I could find some? I think people must have some sort of grudge against Yukito because I can never find any pics of him! It's really annoying. >.<
Funny thing. Yesterday, I was at the local grocery store, and I have this friend (Andrew) who works there. Andrew walks by and goes "Hi Xanth!", only I was spaced out and it took me a moment to realize someone just said "Hi!" to me. I was with my family, so my Mom turns to me and goes "Wasn't that your friend Andrew?" I'm all like OMG! He's here?! XD Yeah... It was pathetically funny. I should tell him next time I see him. It wasn't quite as pathetically funny as when me and ambi-chan (chibi koneko girl) got trapped in Serenity's room for an hour and a half because her doorknob fell off! XD That was torture when it was happening (evil doorknob T-T), but looking back, it's pathetically funny.

I didn't really do too much at Grandma's. I spent most of the time trying to finish my book, Worldwar: Tilting the Balance by Harry Turtledove. It's the second book in the Worldwar quartet. I thought it rocked, and I gotta read the next one soon.
The highlight of my time was setting off fireworks. Okay, fireworks are illegal in the state where I live, so I never get to do them myself. Thankfully, they're perfectly legal where Grandma lives, so I had the time of my life setting them off! -^^-
I plan to spend the rest of my day watching my Air DVDs and taking screencaps of YukitoxMisuzu. I'm planning to use a good YukitoxMisuzu shot in the Air wallpaper I'm attempting to make. I don't think the wallpaper will come out very good, but I'm going to try anyways. ^^"

Okay, yesterday I went over to my friend Serenity's house to hang out w/ her, ambi-chan (Chibi Koneko Girl) and Orly.. And somehow in the 24 hours we were there, some sort of bad luck happened to every single one us. It was like something out of a movie, w/ like a haunted house, or something. >.< Right now, I'm really pissed off at our luck.
Okay, let's start from the beginning. Yesterday afternoon, I got a call from Serenity asking me if I wanted to hang out, and I'm all like "hell yeah!". So I got there around 2-ish. For the first few hours we did nothing much, we talked, we played soul caliber 3, but really just hanging out round her house. So towards the evening we decide to go to for dinner and then to the local arcade. Dinner was nice. We went to this Japanese resteraunt in the complex where the arcade is located. I ordered 2 california rolls (12 pieces) and a miso soup. It was delicious. -^^- So the first half of our day went pretty good.
After that, came the first incident of bad luck. We went to the local arcade (ambi-chan paid) and played DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). During my second round playing (we took turns), I got off halfway through the song b/c there was a music break and I got confused and thought the song was over. So my friends are all like O.o, and Serenity got on to try and keep me from failing while I got back onto the dance platform. Only, I tripped over Serenity's feet, and fell off the dancing platform, and twisted my ankle in the landing. T-T It was painful. My friends were all like ((O____O)) *severe shock*, "Xanth! OMG! Are you okay?!!! You're shaking! What's wrong?! Do you hurt?!!" Orly went to get help, while Ambi-chan stayed w/ me to make sure that I didn't move and make myself worse, and keep me alright, and stuff. So then Orly comes back w/ the security guards. Let me tell you: They were incompetent, and absolutely no help at all. +_+ Instead of asking "Are you alright? Where does it hurt?" they're all like "You fell on this machine right? Do you have an ID? What's your phone number? Where do you live? What's your birthdate? Do you want an ambulence?" I'm all like "It'a a sprained ankle! I don't need an ambulence for a sprained ankle!" I'm still pissed off at them for their idiot incompetence. They didn't even do anything. They just scribbled down my personal info, and then stood there doing nothing. +_+
Anyways, this leads to another bad-luck incident. Because during this time Serenity's on her cell trying to get in touch w/ her fam to see if sum1 can give us a ride home. Apparently no one was picking up their phone. Eventually, she got her parents. However, she got into a mini-fight with her mom on accounts of that she was rude and hung up because her mom was asking a million questions instead of helping. Her Dad drove us home. Afterwards, there was a lot of tension due to the mini-fight between them. I think they made up in the end though.
After a while, we all cheered up and started joking around again. But something else happened to another one of my friends. I'm not going to go into it though, because it's really personal, and I don't think she'd want me to tell. So, at around 2am we in relatively good spirits again. Serenity and Orly stayed up later, but Ambi-chan and I decided to go to bed then.
When I woke up again it's like 8-ish. Apparently, Serenity and Orly ended up going to bed downstairs in the living room, so it was only me and Ambi-chan. I had to go to the bathroom, so I go to the door, turn the doorknob and... the F***ING DOORKNOB COMES OFF IN MY HAND!!!!!! +_+ So I try to put the doorknob back onto the door, only I can't. Ambi-chan walks over to wtf is making all the noise.
me: *hands ambi-chan doorknob*
ambi: O.o
me: This is bad. -^^- *understatement of the day*
So me and Ambi-chan were trapped in there for like 45 minutes or something, since we couldn't open the door without the knob. After a while, Orly woke up, and walked in to see if we were up yet (the doorknob was still in on the other side of the door). So we managed to get out. That was bad luck incident #4.
So we walked (well, I limped) to the kitchen to eat breakfast. During breakfast though, Orly was trying to get someone to drive her home since it rained the day before, and probably wasn't very safe fer her to roller blade back. She needed to be home by 10:00 (I forgot the reason) but no one could drive her back. In the end, at like 10:30, she decided just to risk roller blading 2+ miles in the rain to get back home. She's going to get into huge trouble with her mom when she gets home. (Bad luck #5)
After Orly left, me and Ambi-chan went upstairs to Serenity's room, where our bags were to go get dressed. Only I was absentminded and shut the door (we still hadn't fixed the doorknob).
ambi: Xanth, did you just close that door? O.o

So we were stuck in there from 10:30-12:00. This was just like the epitome of a bad luck. During this time my mom comes to pick me up. Only Serenity's still sleeping, and no one else was home, except me and Ambi-chan who are stuck in the room. We figured her golden retriever Jackson would bark if someone knocked at the door, and wake up Serenity, who would realize that we were trapped and let us out. But then we're all like "Oh no! We let Jackson out! O.o She can't hear him if he's outside! *looks at eachother* We're screwed. X_x" This was just so pathetic it was funny. Like in one of those horror movies where like help is right outside, and the main character's trapped an bangin on the window, but no one notices, so the help leaves. And everyone's just like "Hahah! You suck!" It was just so pathetic, it was sort of funny. Only not quite, since we were the ones trapped. X_x Well, at noon, Serenity's sister gets back home from, wherever she was XD, and walks through the hallway by Serenity's room. She hears us banging on the door and lets us out. My mother left a long time ago, since she was there like 15 minutes and no one answered the door. So I call home, and yeah... that's where I am now.
OMFG! That must've been one of the longest 24 hours I've ever spent! +_+ I wouldn't mind if I never had to go into Serenity's room again! It's 1:51 right now, according to my computer clock. If no one reads this today, because if the time I'm posting, I'll put this up again tomorrow.

Wow... this post just gets longer and longer. This was one of the songs I DDRed to, and it's been stuck in my head all morning. XD I'm in a much better mood now than I was earlier today. It's 2:57 now by my computer clock
