My one free period for the week...
Gotta find something to do about that. I really don't like having a schedule so packed that I have only 1 free a week and no lunch period! >_< it's annoying. But that's why I'm seeing my guidance councelor after school today. Oh well, I'm enjoying my free period while it lasts, by updating my conveniently unblocked homepage! ^_____^ I'm really glad the school has blocked MyOtaku yet.
New Friends!
Before I get around to talking, I'd like to say hi to my new friends! I was feeling adventurously impulsive the other day, and decided to go out and sign guestbooks, and make new friends! I'm really too shy for my own good (sometimes, and sometimes I'm just antisocial XD), so I don't do this very often. Anyways, I think I told you guys that I know you guys through "Ambi-chan". She's an offline friend of mine, so usually forget to call her by her username "Olette". But anyways, it's nice to meet you guys, and I hope to get to know you all better, because you seem like nice people! -^^-
Life, school, blah... XP
Not much going on my life. I've pretty much been caught up with just school. Which is stressful and boring, with the exception of Latin class, because the Romans rock! XD At the rate it's going, I predict Latin is going to remain my favorite class for at least the reest of the year. ♥
I think the class the makes me laugh though, is US History. There are just little nuiances about history that are hilarious if you look at it the right way.
Ex1: A few drunk idiots started harassing some soldiers. Supposedly it was verbal taunts, snowball throwing, and rock throwing. The soldiers got pretty pissed and shot a few of them.
The scene was goes down in history as the "Boston Massacre", and the drunk idiots are described as "dying for their country"! XD (we're covering the American revolution right now)
Random fact: The guy on the "Sam Adams" brand beer bottle is actually Paul Revere. XD You know, there were actually 3 guys who alerted the town, but Paul Revere is the only one that books ever seem to talk about. Also, I heard someone paid him to make the alert, but that's just hearsay. ^^"
Movies
The Fullmetal Alchemist Movie is playing at my local movie theater at a special showing tomorrow night. I wanna go so badly! I hope I don't have too much homework.
I saw a satisfying movie the other day (at the expense of my Physics homework). It was titled "Balzac and the Little Seamstress". It was in Chinese with English subtitles.
Period's about to end! I gotta go! I'll see you all when I get home, 'kay?
