Guess what song these lyrics are from?
Christine:
In sleep he sang to me,In dreams he came,
That voice which calls to me,And speaks my name.
And do I dream again? For now I find.
The [edited out for challenge] is there-Inside my mind.
Phantom:
Sing once again with me, our strange duet,
My power over you, grows stronger yet.
And though you turn from me, to glance behind.
The [edited out for challenge] is there -inside your mind.
Christine:
Those who have seen your face,
Draw back in fear.
I am the mask you wear.
Phantom:
It's me they hear.
Both:
You're/my spirit and my/you're voice in one combined.
The [edited out for challenge] is there inside my/your mind.
(in the background)
He's there,the [edited out for challenge] . . .
Beware the [edited out for challenge] . . .
Phantom:
In all your fantasies, you always knew that man and mystery . . .
Christine:
...Were both in you.
BOTH
And in this labyrinth, where night is blind,
the [edited out for challenge] is there/here inside your/my mind . . .
Phantom:
Sing, my Angel of Music!
CHRISTINE
He's there,
the [edited out for challenge]...
(She then begins to vocalise strangely until they reach the shore of the lake...)
Sorry if I edited out some of the words since they're a dead give away. Anyone recognize it?
Hint 1: It's from a broadway musical
Hint 2: The title of the song is the same as the title of the musical
Hint 3: The musical was made into a movie in 2004?, I think it was 2004
Hint 4: If you give up, watch the AMV for this song which I found on YouTube
AMV
Yeah, I've been obsessed w/ this song since I downloaded it onto my ipod yesterday. I'm not much for the movie/musical but I think the music is really good. Yeah, I have a thing for Broadway. ^///^ I saw both the movie and the broadway version. I thought the broadway version was better, but I think most people preferred the movie. I've also seen Aida, Hairspray, and Wicked on Broadway. I only own the soundtracks for Aida and Wicked tho. -^^-
Sorry if I'm not putting up a real blog today since nothing's going on. Well, did I mention that I've been outta school since Wednesday? I think I forgot to mention that in my last post. So I'm just sitting round the house, doing not much of anything. *sigh* I think I'm going to change my theme sometime soon. I plan on making it Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden. I'm going to leave up my Air theme for a little longer tho.
later!

PS: Since no one seems to know what the song is, I'll just say it's Phantom of the Opera. Yeah, I like that song. ^///^ You ppl should see it. -^^- I'm suprised you couldn't guess, but maybe not as many saw the movie as I thought
May the gods of sporks and insanity be with you,
