Home Sweet Home

Vacation: Sorry if I forgot to warn you. For the past couple weeks I've been on vacation in Washington DC. -^^- It was pretty good. We stayed with our grandparents, who live in the nearby suburbs. Most of the time there was spent doing a lot of nothing. Watching TV, video games, reading, etc. It was pretty quiet. We did go into the actual Washington DC area on our last day though. We toured through several of the Smithsonian museums (I never get tired of that). So now, I'm back home. I think my vacation was pretty good, and would have been better if I was in a better mood. For some reason, I've been sorta moody lately, and I've been feeling sorta depressed that I don't have a boyfriend right now. Well, it's pretty stupid to mope since I'll find someone eventually, and there's no one I'm particularly interested in at the moment. Anyways, I'm in a good mood now, and I don't want to ruin it with nasty thoughts. -^^-

Random thought: Why is DN Angel labeled as shounen-ai if Daisuske and Satoshi both end up with girls at the end?

Not so random thought: My wallet's gone missing again. T-T I think it's in the house somewhere, but I can't find it! DAMMIT!!!! *sigh* If it is in the house, and not somewhere else, it'll probably turn up sooner or later. Hopefully sooner and not later. *sigh* Why do I have to be so damn good at losing things (like my wallet)?!! T-T

Question: What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? I like rum raisin. Right now though, I'm in the mood for green tea ice cream. -^^- *imagines eating a bowl of green tea ice cream* tasty...

Go: Last night, I saw the first episode of Hikaru no Go with english voice overs. Sae's voice bother's me so much! >.< He probably sounds better in the japanese version (hopefully) which I still haven't seen yet. How is it that so many English voice overs give the characters voices like little kids? It's not too bad in Go, since Hikaru sounds 10 and not 4 (he's in 9th grade or something). I think it's worst with One Piece. Luffy sounds like he's still in elementary school! XD I also hate the English voices in Fruits Basket, especially Tohru's. In general, I prefer to watch anime in Japanese because I can't stand the English voices! >.< Inuyasha and Fullmetal Alchemist have good voices though. They're among the anime I watch in English
